Naruto: Destroy the Sarutobi Clan At the Beginning

Chapter 233: Chapter 235

"Ugh."

Looking at Karin, who was clinging tightly to him, steam rising from her nostrils, drooling, and looking like a lovesick fool, Fujiwara Kirito frowned.

"Karin, what are you doing?"

Now, Kirito finally understood why the original author, Kishimoto, had Sasuke reject Karin in the end.

Although he knew that this was simply how Karin acted toward someone she liked, experiencing it firsthand was a completely different level of discomfort.

He couldn't help but shudder.

Meanwhile, Chinatsu's expression darkened immediately the moment Karin threw herself into Kirito's arms.

She lowered her head slightly, her eyes covered by shadows.

There were faint signs of darkness stirring within her.

Though she had long been aware that the sister her father had rescued harbored "special feelings" for him, she had never imagined Karin would act on them so boldly.

Until this very moment, Karin had hesitated.

But now—

After realizing that Kirito was truly present and not just a shadow clone, Karin's instincts had overtaken her reasoning, causing her to react without thinking.

How dare this sixteen-year-old woman?!

Karin, still clinging tightly, smirked and said, "Nothing~ I just haven't seen Lord Kirito in so long!"

Her glasses glinted mischievously.

"Hmm... I just wanted to use my charm—oh no, I mean, I just wanted to get closer to Lord Kirito!"

At that moment—

Karin had no idea that she had just signed her own death warrant.

Because—

The Evil Chinatsu finally moved.

With a single punch, Karin was sent flying dozens of meters away.

"Damn you, Karin!"

"Who said you could hug my father?!"

As she spoke, Chinatsu released an extremely powerful Sage Chakra.

The ground beneath her feet cracked apart, forming spiderweb-like fissures.

With each step forward, the rock beneath her shattered, sending tremors through the entire mountain range.

The entire battlefield shook.

Kirito casually observed Chinatsu's furious march toward Karin.

He let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head.

"After all these years…"

"She really is becoming more and more like Tsunade."

He shot a glance at Karin, silently wishing her good luck, before turning his attention back to the battle below.

Because of Chinatsu's outburst, the entire cave trembled violently, causing countless stones and debris to rain down.

At that moment—

Chiyo was explaining her battle strategy to Sakura when—

BOOM!

A loud explosion echoed from above.

Sakura yelped in shock, losing her balance as she almost fell to the ground.

"Ahhh!"

Chiyo steadied her, placing a firm hand on Sakura's shoulder.

"Don't be afraid, Sakura."

"You must trust your companions."

"This doesn't sound like an attack from Fujiwara Kirito."

Her gaze hardened as she locked eyes with Sasori.

Sasori let out a chilling laugh.

"You old hag…"

"You have no idea what kind of monster those two little brats are facing."

"Even if it's just a shadow clone, that man is deadly."

His puppet tail twitched.

"Well then…"

"Let's begin."

The battle between Sasori and Chiyo officially commenced.

At first, Kirito was intrigued by the fight.

But soon—

His excitement faded.

Sasori…

Was completely throwing the match.

After losing his Hiruko puppet, Sasori brought out his two strongest Human Puppets—the Third and Fourth Kazekage.

Kirito expected an intense fight, but instead—

Sasori held back.

He lost the Fourth Kazekage puppet immediately, calling it a "mistake."

He deliberately let his Third Kazekage puppet get destroyed, despite having plenty of other options.

He exposed his weak point on purpose, letting himself get stabbed through the heart by the "Father" and "Mother" puppets.

"…Is this guy really just throwing his life away?"

Karin, finally recovering from Chinatsu's punch, stared in disbelief.

She rubbed her sore cheek, her eyes wide with shock.

"He's letting himself lose?"

Chinatsu watched in horror as Sasori stood motionless, accepting his own demise.

Her heart ached, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Why…?"

Chinatsu threw herself into Kirito's arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Why do they have to kill each other?"

"Aren't they family?"

"Why is this happening…?"

She gripped his cloak tightly, tears soaking his chest.

"I don't want this…"

"I don't want to see people I love killing each other!"

Chinatsu could hear the emotions in both Chiyo and Sasori's hearts.

She understood everything.

Sasori's parents were murdered.

He grew up alone in a cold, emotionless village.

His grandmother was strict, unable to express love properly.

No one guided him, and he lost his way.

In the end—

Sasori was just a lonely child who wanted love.

And—

Chinatsu knew that pain all too well.

For years, she had longed for her father, while her mother gambled and ignored her.

Though her family was whole now, a part of her still feared losing them.

A part of her feared that one day, her father might also become "the enemy."

Kirito gently stroked her hair.

"If you don't like it…"

"I'll change the ending."

Chinatsu sniffled, looking up with puffy red eyes.

"Can it really be changed?"

"Of course."

Kirito smirked, pulling out two green beans from his pocket.

He handed them to Karin.

Karin's eyes widened.

"Senzu Beans?!"

Her hands trembled.

Her teacher, Tsunade, had five of them.

She had used one on Rock Lee, leaving four.

Before leaving Konoha, Tsunade had given her two more, just in case.

But—

Kirito also had them?!

He leaned in, whispering something into Chinatsu and Karin's ears.

Chinatsu's face brightened.

Karin's cheeks flushed red as she nodded excitedly.

Kirito stood up, stretching.

"Alright, I should head down now."

"Otherwise, it'll be too late."

Chinatsu grabbed his sleeve.

"Can we meet again later?"

Kirito smiled.

"Of course."

"When you return to Konoha… I'll be waiting for you."

Chinatsu beamed, wiping away the last of her tears.

She grabbed Karin's wrist, determined.

"Come on!"

"Let's hurry back to Konoha—so I can see Dad again!"
