Naruto-(Crimson Eyes in a Quirked World)

Chapter 5: Chapter:5 Sharingan manifesting

In the brightly lit, spacious living room of the Yaoyorozu mansion, Yana sat on one side, arms open wide with a gentle, encouraging smile. Erika stood a little behind Yana, beaming as she watched Itachi wobble on his feet.

His mind, still sharp despite his infant body, had been observing and analyzing everything around him. I've come to two conclusions, he thought to himself as he attempted to walk towards his mother, Yana, while Erika stood on the other side, encouraging him. First, I cannot use chakra. I don't possess it in this world.

This realization was both a relief and a concern. He had relied on chakra for so much of his previous life, and now it was absent. He had spent months trying to feel its familiar flow within him, but it was no use.

Second, he thought, wobbling as he took a step, I think my Sharingan will manifest as a quirk. The idea both excited and puzzled him. The Sharingan had always been linked to chakra, so how would it function without it? Would it appear when he was older, or would it never come at all? These were questions that lingered in his young mind.

"Come on, young master, you're doing great!" Erika's gentle voice broke his thoughts, and he focused on the task at hand.

Itachi, now much more aware of his surroundings and abilities, looked at his mother and the maid, a small sweatdrop forming in his mind. This body is still so unstable... he thought, slightly frustrated by the physical limitations he was not used to in his previous life.

His tiny legs trembled as he pushed himself off the floor, gripping the nearby sofa for balance. He let out a soft grunt as he focused all his energy on standing upright. His black eyes, which still held the sharpness of his past self, were locked onto Yana.

"That's it, Itachi," Yana encouraged warmly, her eyes gleaming with pride. "You're doing so well."

Erika clapped her hands gently. "Just a little more! You're almost there!"

Itachi, feeling their encouragement, took a shaky step forward. His small foot landed unsteadily, but he kept his focus. Then another step. Walking... he mused inwardly. It's such a simple task, yet this body makes it feel like an obstacle.

Yana's sm she looked down at him with a gleam of excitement in her eyes. She gently stroked his hair and said softly, "Now, can you try to say 'ma-ma,' Itachi?"

Itachi, still adjusting to the limitations of his small, young body, blinked and stared up at his mother. His mind, still sharp and calculating as ever, understood the importance of language in this new life. Though he had full knowledge of speech from his past, he was aware that, in this body, he had to learn it all over again.

I suppose this is necessary, Itachi thought inwardly with a slight sweatdrop, knowing it was a significant moment for Yana. He took a breath, focusing on the words his mother wanted to hear. "M-Ma..." His voice came out soft and stammering, a little unsteady as he tried to form the syllables with his still-developing vocal cords.

Yana's eyes widened, filled with hope and encouragement. "Yes, Itachi, go on!"

Itachi took another breath, gathering his strength and determination. "Ma...ma."

The moment the word left his lips, Yana's eyes filled with happy tears. She gasped, covering her mouth in disbelief, and then, unable to contain her emotions, she pulled Itachi into a warm, tight embrace. "You did it! You said it, my baby!" Her voice was filled with joy and pride.

Tears welled in her eyes as she looked at her son, a mix of happiness and overwhelming love washing over her. She kissed the top of his head softly, whispering, "I'm so proud of you, Itachi."

Itachi, still nestled in her arms, felt the warmth of her embrace and the love that radiated from her. Despite his composed and stoic nature from his past life, something about Yana's genuine affection stirred a deep sense of peace within him. This... feels nice, he thought, closing his eyes for a moment, allowing himself to feel the purity of a mother's love in this new world.

Erika, who had been watching from nearby, couldn't help but smile brightly. "Young master, you're truly amazing!" she said softly, her voice filled with admiration.

Yana, still holding Itachi close, wiped her tears away with a gentle laugh. "He's growing up so fast... I can't believe it."

Itachi opened his eyes again, observing his mother's happiness. In my previous life, I never got to see Mikoto this happy, he reflected with a hint of sadness. But here, I'll do my best to protect this happiness.

Yana's smile widened as Itachi inched closer. "Come on, Itachi. I'm right here."

Finally, with one last determined step, Itachi reached his mother. He practically fell into Yana's arms, but Yana caught him with a soft laugh, hugging him gently.

"You did it!" Yana said, joy evident in her voice. "My little boy is growing so fast."

Erika clapped more enthusiastically now. "That was amazing, young master! I knew you could do it!"

Itachi looked up at Yana with a smile, then tried to speak again, "M-Maa... maa..." His voice was still delicate and childlike, but the effort was clear in his determined eyes.

Yana's heart swelled with pride as she saw his persistence. "What is it, Itachi?" she asked gently, her smile radiant.

Itachi gestured toward his stomach, the universal sign of hunger.

Yana's eyes softened with understanding. "Oh, I see. You're hungry." She stood up, holding Itachi securely, and turned to Erika. "Ichikawa, could you prepare some food for Itachi? He must be hungry after all that effort."

"Right away, Miss Yaoyorozu," Erika responded with a warm smile and hurried off to the kitchen.
