Naruto: Chakra System

"Hey, by the way, you said you are our senior, and from your headband, it seems you're a Leaf ninja. Does that mean it's your second or third time taking the Chūnin Exam?" Naruto asked Kabuto.

"No, it's my seventh time. The Chūnin Exam is held twice a year, and this is my fourth year as a Genin," Kabuto said simply.

"Wow... Then you must know a lot about the exam, right?" Sakura asked, a mix of slight impression and unimpressedness in her tone.

"Well, kind of. Shall I share some info with my juniors?" Kabuto said with a smirk, taking out a deck of cards from his back pocket. "With these Ninja Info Cards." Kabuto then explained what the cards were and provided some general information about the Chūnin Exam and its patterns.

"Do you have cards with information on certain individuals?" Sasuke asked.

"Hah... Are there some you're concerned about?" Kabuto asked, an interested look in his eyes.

"Hey, I also want some information about someone!" Naruto interjected quickly, raising his hand.

"Well, I do have information, but I can't be sure if all of it is perfect," the information specialist Kabuto said, pushing up his glasses. "But alright, ask which individuals you two want information on!"

"I want to know about Gaara of the Sand Village!" Naruto spoke first.

"And I want information on all students of Might Guy— Rock Lee, Neji Hyuga, and Tenten. Well, you can skip the last one, I suppose," Sasuke said plainly.

Kabuto's eyes sharpened as he looked at them. He muttered, "Interesting," but quickly shuffled the cards and provided the basic information he had on the individuals Naruto and Sasuke had requested. The information did not seem very helpful to Sasuke, who actually wanted to know their abilities and skill levels, but for Naruto, it was more than enough.

'Kurama told me that Shukaku can take over his host during sleep, which is why Gaara has so many dark circles. But coming back without a scratch from each mission, it looks like Gaara can also use a little bit of Shukaku's power, or maybe...' a thought crossed his mind.

"Naruto, what are you suddenly thinking about so deeply?" Sakura nudged him lightly.

Naruto snapped out of his thoughts and turned to the others. "Oh, well, whatever, even if there are some strong Genin here," he said, his voice growing louder, "STILL I WON'T LOSE TO ANY OF YOU, BELIEVE IT!" Naruto's outburst caught the attention of the crowd.

"H-hey, what's with him!" Ino nudged Sakura aggressively and asked.

"Nothing, he's just stating the fact," Sakura said simply.

"Hmph," Sasuke smirked. Neither of them berated Naruto, as they both knew his current strength.

"H-hey, it's that blonde brat and what happened to Gaara?" Kankuro said, a bead of sweat on his forehead. He saw Gaara smirk creepily, as if losing control of the One-Tails.

"Kankuro, let's take Gaara away from here," Temari said, and they quickly took a few steps away from Naruto immediate sight spot.

"But why is Gaara being like that when he saw that blonde again?" Kankuro asked Temari slowly in lower voice.

"Sensei told me that the blonde brat is also a Jinchūriki, so maybe that's why!" Temari answered him in a low voice, as they glanced at Gaara, whose gaze was still fixed on Naruto with a wide, creepy grin.

"Aha, seems like you're quite confident, huh, brat!" A Sound ninja with bandages all over his face crept through the crowd said, ready to make his move on Naruto.

Shikamaru noticed him and grumbled, "Tch, this moron. He made a dangerous target of us with his loud mouth."

However, Hinata, who was standing in the circle, had a different thought. 'W-wow! Naruto-kun is so brave!'

The Sound ninja instantly jumped over a table and dashed at Naruto, swinging his gauntlet-clad arm. Naruto, and even Sasuke, who was standing close to him, noticed the incoming attack from Dosu. But neither of them moved. They simply smirked and got ready to attack Dosu themselves. But Kabuto came forward, trying to block the attack. But he failed to deflect and fell to his knees, his glasses cracking. He began to vomit.

"Ha! You card loser, trying to be a hero here? Listen, the Hidden Sound Village will definitely be Chūnin at the end of the exam!" Dosu boasted loudly for everyone to hear in the room clearly.

Naruto scowled, tucking up his sleeves. "Oh, really? Let's see if you have strength equal to your big-boasting, you Mummy!"

Just as Naruto was about to dash forward, a deep, bellowing voice got everyone's attention. "Quiet down, you worthless maggots!"

Ibiki Morino appeared in a huge puff of smoke at the front of the room. Behind him were dozens of shinobi and kunoichi in grey uniforms. "Sound punks, and you rookie brat, watch your steps! Don't go around doing as you please under my supervision!" Ibiki's voice silenced everyone in the crowded room.

"Tch." Naruto scoffed simply. He instantly vanished the Rasengan he had created, but even that was enough to get noticed by those who recognized the jutsu.

The Konoha examiners who appeared with Ibiki were all internally surprised, as was Kabuto, whose eyes widened in shock. 'I didn't know that Kakashi Hatake had already taught Naruto this high-level jutsu. It seems like I need to re-check my information on him, and also... on Sasuke,' Kabuto thought, his eyes sharp.

"I apologize for—" Dosu began.

"Shut it, maggot," Ibiki snorted getting out of small shock of seeing Rasengan, then looked around and said, "Alright, fools, take your seats and listen to me very carefully."

"They will pass the first phase easily. I even told Naruto to just sleep if he didn't know what to do. But the main part is going to be in the Second Phase, the Forest of Death!" Kakashi mumbled to himself, currently sitting in a small tea shop, having snacks and tea. His Shadow Clones were taking care of other things.

'Now, I should just plan for the Second Phase. It's obvious I'll use Orochimaru to help Sasuke evolve his Sharingan to three-tomoe,' Kakashi mused internally. 'But how do I get my hands on the Scroll of Seals? Hmm, maybe I can also use Orochimaru's presence here as well. After all, me, the three Council members, and Hiruzen himself would be in the Forest of Death for some time during the Second Phase of the Chūnin Exam.'

"Hmm, yeah, that would be the best idea," Kakashi mused aloud, turning to look out the window of the small tea shop. He took a sip of his tea, a smile tugged up on his face.
