Naruto: Bloodline Limit

Chapter 24: The Long-awaited Mission

Half an hour later, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura finally got the bell just like the original story. Because of Ryoha, they all knew what the purpose of this test was.

Then they agreed to go home together, and thus, the field survival test ended.

"Did he really say that?" Smoke filled the air in the Hokage's office. The Third was smoking a pipe. After a moment, he spoke to Kakashi.

"Yes, I can see that Ryoha had already guessed the purpose of this test from the moment he saw these bells, but he did the opposite and finished the test independently. I only saw confidence in his eyes, unlike Sasuke and his arrogance. He really believed that he could do it."

Kakashi told The Third about the details of yesterday's battle. After all, The Third wanted him to pay attention to Ryoha secretly.

"If all you said was true, then he is indeed a genius like Orochimaru, no, a rare genius in hundreds of years, surpassing Orochimaru. He was ahead of everyone even without a teacher, and with just a few D-level ninjutsus from the Academy, he could defeat one of your shadow clones."

"Moreover, he can constantly learn his opponents' skills and even ninjutsu in battle even without the copying ability of a Sharingan. If he had a Bloodline Limit, it would be perfect."

After observing him and completing some missions, we will see if he is just an ordinary Ninja or a genius. If his strength is still improving as he is now, then you should focus on training him. He is innocent, and his background is clean. The possibility of him being loyal to Konoha is very high." The Third thought for a while and then said.

"Understood, Hokage-sama." Kakashi nodded and disappeared.

"Ryoha? I hope you can be loyal to Konoha. Otherwise, I don't care how talented you are, but now you are just a Genin. If you are not loyal to Konoha, I will eliminate you at all costs. But as long as you are loyal to Konoha, I will give you the greatest resources, nurture you, and make you an outstanding Ninja."

Ryoha did not know that the Third so valued him at this time. If he knew, he would not know whether to be proud or depressed.

"Kakashi-sensei, can you stop giving such simple missions to us? When can you give us a proper one?"

It had been more than a week after the field survival test. This week, under the leadership of Kakashi, the team had only done many boring D-level missions. Let alone the impatient Naruto, even Ryoha, who had been through more than ten years of tedious training, was tired of it. It was purely a waste of his time.

"I can't help it. The top boss arranged it like this." Kakashi was depressed. He did not even want to be a teacher. It was too hard for him. He did not even have time to sleep.

He was really annoyed by Naruto. This was the only child of his old master, and he had not taken care of him for so long. He was already very guilty. He wouldn't punch him out of desperation. He could only helplessly throw this big burden to the Third, indicating that Naruto should go and talk to the Third.

"Naruto, you fool. You are just a recently graduated genin. Ninjas need to accumulate experience from below slowly."

Unfortunately, Iruka was also in the office today. When he heard Naruto's ignorant words, he was suddenly enraged. In fact, he deeply cared about Naruto. It could be said that the one who really cared for Naruto in the whole of Konoha was not Jiraya, Kakashi, or The Third, but this Iruka.

"But, Iruka-sensei, the task you arranged for us is too boring... Ouch..." Halfway through his words, he felt a pain in his head after getting hit by Kakashi.

"Don't be so rude here. You're crazy." Kakashi blew on her fist. But he actually thought to himself that it would be fine for Naruto to yell here. After that, he was left alone with The Third. This was not the first time Kakashi was "greeted" by the Third for not teaching his students well.

"Well, Naruto, since you are so confident, then I will arrange a C-level mission for you to guard someone."

The Third looked at Kakashi, and a mischievous thought came to his mind. This Kakashi was getting lazier and lazier, and it was time to beat him up. So the Third deliberately arranged a C-level mission for Kakashi to stop him from being so lazy.

"Wait, Hokage-sama, they just graduated not long ago..." Iruka, who was worried about Naruto, immediately came out to stop him, but before he could speak, he was stopped by the Third.

"Really? Who is it? Is it to protect the Daimyo? Or the Princess?" Naruto happily stood up and looked around, but he did not see the person he wanted to protect.

"Kacha!"

The door opened, and a middle-aged man wearing simple clothes and drinking a bottle of wine came in. He found that the ones protecting him were a few children. He thought he was hiding in Konoha to bring some powerful ninjas back. Now, seeing these ninjas who were obviously still a brat, he wasn't assured at all.

"No way. They are just some brats. They can't even be considered ninjas. That blond shorty especially looks silly." Tazuna said.

"Haha, blond shorty? I'm going to kill you." Naruto glanced at the three people beside him. Ryoha did not say anything. He had developed early, was more than 1.6 meters tall, and just a few centimeters away from 1.7 meters. The other two were obviously taller than him, and he was the only one with golden hair. Naruto immediately charged at Tazuna.

"Idiot, he is the person you have to protect. How can you kill him?" said Kakashi in a bad mood. He had a hunch that he would have a hard time in the future, and his leisure days had left him.

"Listen, I am a Super Bridge Master. I want you to protect me back to the Land of Wave until I finish the bridge." Tazuna was also aware of his situation, so he could only pin his hopes on Kakashi, the teacher.
