Naruto: Blood Demoness Karin Uzumaki

Chapter 3: #3 Questions

Hyeol Ryong's small, delicate hands clenched into fists, her mind ablaze with thoughts of retaliation.

But as she stared at the leering man before her, she forced herself to quell her anger. In her current state, lashing out without understanding her limitations would be as useless as a snake without venom.

The man leaned closer, his breath reeking of alcohol and stale food. "You better shut that pretty mouth of yours before I'll put it to better use than having you speak."

Hyeol Ryong's face remained impassive but glanced around the dimly lit room, taking note of the crude furnishings—a broken wooden table, piles of discarded rags, and a battered lamp flickering weakly. A single window sat high on the wall, out of her reach. There was no immediate escape, but that wasn't her focus. She needed answers first.

Feigning a look of submission, Hyeol Ryong lowered her head. "Please," she said softly, her voice laced with false desperation. "I don't understand what's happening. I don't even know who I am anymore. Just… tell me. Why am I here? What's happening to me?"

The man scoffed but seemed pleased by her apparent meekness. "Tch, pathetic, I'll tell you, if only to shut you up. Not like you'll live long enough for it to matter."

He leaned back against the wall, scratching his stubble as he began speaking. "You're Karin. Some red-haired brat from that freak clan, what were they called again…Uzu something yeah Uzumaki or whatever. Your kind's got this weird-ass ability to heal people when they bite you. So yeah, that's your job now. Whenever we need chakra or someone's near death, you let us take a chunk out of you. Ain't that simple?"

Hyeol Ryong froze slightly in confusion. Karin? Uzumaki? She had never heard of a Clan with such a Name. And again, this Chakra. None of this made sense with the Murim that she knew.

Still at least he now had a name to work with, so his current identity is that of Karin Uzumaki.

The Least he could do is to honor the Girl for providing him with this new lease on Life, so Hyeol Ryong decided to take on her name for himself.

Hyeol Ryung is already dead after all. This World will soon learn to fear the name of Karin Uzumaki.

The man smirked, misinterpreting her confusion. "You don't even remember, do ya? Not surprising, with the way we've been using you. Guess all the trauma finally fried your little brain."

He paused, a malicious glint in his eyes. "But don't worry. You're still useful. You heal us, and we don't throw your scrawny ass to the wolves. Who knows maybe if you behave properly, you'll even be allowed to go to School hahaha."

Hearing this disgusting Pigs words Karin clenched her Teeth. How dare they treat her like Livestock, this is simply intolerable.

Still, rage wouldn't serve her now. Karin forced herself to relax, lowering her gaze and adopting an expression of meek curiosity. "This chakra you keep talking about," she asked, her tone soft, as if she were struggling to understand. "What… what is it?"

The man tilted his head, clearly surprised by her question. Then he laughed, a deep, condescending sound. "Seriously? You're that dumb, huh? Fine. Chakra's the energy that flows through everything in this world. It's how we fight, heal, and survive. Every shinobi uses it, though a useless brat like you wouldn't get it."

"What about me?" Karin pressed. "You said I have… healing abilities? How does it work?"

The man rolled his eyes. "You don't even know that? Wow, you really are broken. Fine, since you're too stupid to figure it out yourself, here's how it works: we bite you, and you heal us. That's it. Your freaky Uzumaki body pulls it off somehow. Hell if I know the details."

KJarin quickly came to a conclusion, it wasn't a technique they were using on her, but an inherent ability of this body. Karin's lips pressed into a thin line as the pieces began falling into place. Her chakra or perhaps her vitality was being consumed through this bizarre healing process. No wonder her meridians felt so clogged. Her captors had likely overused this ability, leaving her in a weakened state.

"And what happens if I… don't heal fast enough?" she asked, feigning nervousness.

The man sneered. "Then you die, obviously. Not that it matters, you're just a tool."

The man seemed satisfied with her silence and turned toward the door. "Enough questions. Just sit there and try not to piss me off. You're lucky I'm in a good mood today."

He turned toward the door, but Karin wasn't finished. "Wait," she called out, her voice trembling. "What happened to my… my mother?"

The man stopped in his tracks and glanced over his shoulder. His sneer returned. "Your mom? Ha. That weak bitch couldn't handle it. She broke after a few Years and croaked. You'll be next if you don't learn your place."

As he left, slamming the door behind him, Karin exhaled slowly. She was alone again, left to her thoughts.
