Naagin (rise of the serpent)

HIJIRAR'S TEMPLE;

A familiar darkness covered the Umuguor forest plundering it's inhabitants in total black void. In a temple which could be recognized as Hijirar's temple, were three women. One was much more younger and at about middle age, while the rest two were quite old women.

Old lady Papirus paced back and forth the temple, with a lot of things in her mind. Melissa was absent minded, sitting on a chair and playing magic tricks with her fingers.

Arizona was the most worried. She actually felt that Naagin should have been back here some hours ago. She felt for Naagin's safety, especially since she had mistakenly sent her to the snake world instead of Hijirar's Abode. Worries could be written all over her face as she joined old lady Papirus,in pacing back and forth.

Melissa didn't seem concerned about Naagin's long stay at Hijirar's Abode. Her only wish was for Naagin to get back,so she could finally go home. She missed her father's golden palace (Hijirar's Abode) and maybe probably the snake world.

The whole day had quite been tiring for her. She got to meet an old friend of hers, what was his name again.

Yeah, Ovie. That's his name and he had actually made good friends with the spirit rabbits.

And to add to it,she got to meet that god forsaken sister of hers, Naagin.

Arizona couldn't take it anymore again. She would have to go back to Hijirar's Abode and get Naagin back. She's taking too long in her husband's palace.

"How about you go back home?" Arizona asked directing her question to old lady Papirus.

Old lady Papirus looked up from the ground and took her gaze to Arizona.

"What?"

Old lady Papirus asked back, not quite understanding what Arizona meant.

"How about you go back home?" Arizona asked again.

"What about Naagin? She's still at Hijirar's Abode".

Old lady Papirus complained reasonably.

Arizona sighed at old lady Papirus's complaint. She threw a glance at Melissa who was playing tricks with her magic.

She sighed.

"It's best we keep waiting. Maybe she would be back from Hijirar's Abode" Arizona suggested. "And to think I mistakenly sent her to the snake world instead of Hijirar's Abode".

"But you know we can't keep waiting. It's already late in the evening" Melissa chipped in. Seems she was listening to Arizona and old lady Papirus's worried conversation.

"Ovie would definitely get lonely back at the hut" old lady Papirus said with a worried expression.

Well, just as the three women were sharing their worries or almost the three women,a golden portal appeared.

Old lady Papirus and Arizona covered their eyes as a result of the golden light of the portal. The portal emitted strong energy that shook the grounds of the temple.

Anyways,the three women knew who had arrived. They all breathed out in relief of the arrival of the individual, well for different reasons.

I walked into the portal and the portal closed. It was just a matter of seconds when the portal opened again and I stepped out.

What came into view were two worried women and another one smirking at my arrival. I frowned seeing the worried looks on both old lady Papirus and Arizona's faces. Then for sure, my frown deepened when my gaze fell on my 'just met' sister.

I remembered Hijirar saying that both Arizona and Melissa would be staying over, for both of them to train. How unfortunate can I be.

Just as I was lost in thought, Arizona rushed over to me and pulled me in a tight hug. I was a lot surprised at how tight her hug was,for such an old age.

"Oh,thank goodness you back and safe. I was already contemplating on coming over to Hijirar's Abode to get you but I decided not". Arizona said all at once.

I directed my frown over to her and Arizona noticed it.

"What is it?"

"I think someone should explain the reason why I ended up in the snake world instead of Hijirar's Abode" I answered.

Arizona chuckled while rubbing the back of her hair. It made her look like a child caught doing something naughty.

"It's kinda like my fault. But it's my bad".

I nodded hearing her explanation.

Old lady Papirus walked over to me. She pulled me into a hug but not as tight as Arizona's. She gave me a smile and I smiled back.

"So how was your talk with your father?" Old lady Papirus asked.

"Yeah, I should have asked you that" Arizona said in support.

My smile deepened hearing the anxious voice of two women. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well, my trip was fun except the fact that I almost got killed by two male snakes. But I had a good talk with my father".

Arizona smiled hearing the way I called Hijirar my father. I could see from her eyes that she couldn't wait for me to call her mom or maybe mother.

"That's very awesome and I'm sure you had a good time at Hijirar's Abode" the old lady grinned.

"Yeah, I did old lady Papirus. Infact, I got to know about a lot of things" I spoke while giggling.

"I would love to hear them" Arizona chipped in.

As old lady Papirus, Arizona and I had a well deserved talk about my experiences, I couldn't help but notice the scowl on Melissa. I definitely knew both me and Melissa wouldn't be getting along soon.

"I think it's time we go back home, mom" Melissa said while jumping out of the chair she was sitting on.

Her action actually ruined our well deserved talk and I threw her a glare.

"Why do you say so, honey".

Arizona was quick to say something.

Melissa gave a sigh but she didn't walk over.

"Naagin is back and besides,we are already done with the bullshit truth talking".

"If that's the case,if you wanna go back to Hijirar's Abode, you have your powers to take yourself home". Arizona answered making Melissa pout.

"Aren't you coming?" Melissa asked with a pleading tone.

"No. I'll stay over with old lady Papirus and Naagin. I have some things to discuss with them, I be back in Hijirar's Abode, shortly" Arizona replied.

Melissa shrugged her shoulders hearing Arizona's reply.

She decided to create a portal in order to go back to Hijirar's Abode.

Allowing powerful energy to flow through her body, her finger gave a blue glow. Her index finger, glowing with blue light overshadowed the darkness that seemed to settle in Hijirar's temple.

She circled her finger in the air and immediately a portal appeared.

Arizona smirked at the sight of the portal. As for old lady Papirus,her expression was rather emotionless.

Then I remembered, Hijirar had told me about Arizona and Melissa staying over to train me. If I had to get stronger, I will need the help of both Arizona and Melissa. I couldn't just rely on the powers of the Jewel.

But now, Melissa is on her way back to Hijirar's Abode. I got to stop her.

Following my instincts, I burst out from Arizona's hold and headed over to Melissa before she entered the portal.

I held her hand, stopping her from entering the portal. Melissa gave me a scornful look and I replied with a smile.

"Sorry honey, but you got to train me".
