Mysterious Assistant of the Washed-Up Queen

"Right! It's her, the one who just finished 'Till the End of the Moo.' She actually came?!"

"Hey, control yourselves! Stop drooling, is it that serious?"

As a few people jostled each other, the first guest had already walked over.

"Hello everyone, I'm Han Qiuzi..."

"Wow! Qiuzi, come here, come stand by me!"

"Brother Jackie, that's not what you were saying just now! Han Qiuzi, I'm your fan! Come over to my spot, I've got more space here!"

"Move aside! Don't you know to respect your elders and care for the young?"

Seeing the scene descend into chaos, Han Qiuzi's face paled in fright. She kept backing away, not daring to move forward.

After a good while of commotion, things finally calmed down, and then the second guest entered.

"Who's this now?"

"It's Lin Yue! Lin Yue, you know!"

"Lin Yue? Isn't that the one called the 'National Girlfriend'? She's here too? Is the production team trying to break the bank with this lineup?"

Behind the camera, Chu Tian could easily see they were creating this buzz for effect, to build anticipation for these guests. He had to admit, though, the effect was genuinely good, and it looked like the show would be quite decent.

At least these regular guests are really putting in the effort.

Just as he thought they would continue filming like this, eagerly anticipating Xu Qingqiu's entrance, something unexpected happened.

"You shameless bitch, how dare you show your face here!"

"Damn it, you disgraceful bitch!"

Suddenly, a loud, coarse voice rang out. Just as Chu Tian turned his head, he saw a woman weighing over two hundred pounds, her face contorted with fury, charging towards the guests.

Two security guards rushed to stop her but failed. One guard managed to grab her clothing, but he underestimated her strength and was instantly pulled to the ground.

What the hell is going on?

Chu Tian's heart skipped a beat subconsciously; he almost jumped in to stop her, fearing Xu Qingqiu might get hurt.

Then he remembered Xu Qingqiu hadn't appeared yet, so he pulled back and continued to watch.

Just as the woman was about to break through, a group of people finally managed to grab and restrain her.

Seeing she was blocked, the woman was still fuming. Disregarding her obviously expensive handbag, she hurled it straight towards the guests.

And believe it or not, her aim was quite accurate, hitting the guest who had just appeared, Lin Yue, square in the face.

This escalated quickly. The entire set was thrown into chaos, and eventually, even the police and an ambulance arrived.

Filming couldn't continue, of course. They had to pause and deal with the immediate incident.

As Chu Tian was watching with great interest, Xu Qingqiu popped up from somewhere.

"Enjoying the show?"

"Yeah... Huh? What are you doing here?"

Seeing his dumbfounded look, Xu Qingqiu rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"What else could I do? They've stopped filming. You didn't expect me to just keep waiting backstage, did you?"

"Oh, right. So, what exactly happened? How did things suddenly get so out of hand?"

Chu Tian replied, but his eyes never left the scene of the incident.

"I'm not entirely sure myself. It seems that Lin Yue, the one called the 'National Girlfriend,' has a sugar daddy. She tries to cultivate this innocent and pure image, but apparently, he's the one who's been promoting her."

"Turns out, this sugar daddy was secretly supporting her behind his family's back. He's actually a live-in son-in-law, married into his wife's family. That fat woman is his wife. When she found out, she stormed straight to the production team."

That one statement held a shocking amount of information.

Damn, is it really that explosive?
