Chapter 99: From Ghost Tiger to Orange Cat
After Ellie, Maya, Lena, and Amy felt refreshed and ready to walk again, Dylan led them to catch up with Aaron and Clara, who were supervising Fiona and Iris, who were enjoying exploring the zoo. As they walked, Dylan turned to look at the ghost tiger using his skill and saw the ghost's face, which looked full of hope toward him without saying a word. Finally, Dylan turned back to the front and thought, then he got an idea.
"Oi KATS, could he be turned into just an orange cat?" Dylan asked.
[Hmm... no problem.]
"Maybe if he's in the form of a cat, my four wives won't pass out when they meet him," Dylan said.
[Ah, that's right, Master. Very well, I'll tell him.]
Seeing Ellie, Maya, Lena, and Amy approach Aaron and Clara, Dylan paused, turned, and ran toward the tiger enclosure once more. When he poked his head in to look, he saw the ghost tiger floating in the air with its body enveloped in a bright light. He looked right and left; none of the visitors who were watching the tigers inside the enclosure and standing right next to him noticed what was happening with the ghost tiger inside the cage.
"None of them can see him, huh," Dylan said in his head.
[That is correct, sir. Only you can see him because you are using the All Seeing Eye skill.]
"Ah, I see," Dylan muttered.
Then, the ghost tiger enveloped in bright light floated toward Dylan without anyone noticing. As the light grew brighter and blinding, Dylan shielded his face with his arm, but shortly after,
[Quickly open your arm, sir.]
Dylan immediately extended his arms and brought his palms together in the center. Suddenly, he felt something soft and furry in his hands. "Meow," a cat's sound came from in front of him. Dylan opened his eyes and saw a cute male orange cat resting in his hands. Its eyes stared up at Dylan's face with its mouth slightly open, as if it wanted to say something. Dylan smiled upon seeing the cute cat in his hands.
"Hello... hmm... I need to give you a name, don't I? What should it be?" Dylan muttered in his head.
"My name is Roger, master," Roger the cat said in Dylan's head.
"Huh," Dylan immediately became slightly startled. He stared at the cat in his hands, which also seemed to be staring at him with its round eyes, as if judging Dylan right in front of him.
"You... you can talk?" Dylan asked.
"Of course I can, master. You are my owner, so I can communicate with you," Roger replied.
[That is true, sir. He can only talk to you and can't talk to the others, but he understands their words.]
"Hmm, okay. Don't let them get scared by anything spooky like yesterday. It's not good for their pregnancies if they get startled, stressed, and faint easily," Dylan said in his head.
"Don't worry, master. I will help you look after them at home, so you don't need to worry," Roger replied, his face now looking like a proud, cocky cat's face.
"Okay, okay, I believe you. Let's go. I'm going to introduce you to them," Dylan said.
Dylan immediately ran to catch up with Ellie, Maya, Lena, Amy, Aaron, Clara, Fiona, and Iris, carrying Roger. After they met up in front of the giraffe enclosure, they were all immediately surprised but happy to see Dylan carrying a cute orange cat on his shoulder.
"Where did that cat come from, babe?" Ellie asked.
"I helped him when he got stuck in a tree," Dylan answered, because he couldn't possibly say that Roger was a ghost tiger from the tiger enclosure.
"Wow... cute. Can I hold him?" Lena asked, stepping forward and reaching out her hands.
"Sure. His name is Roger. I just named him, and it seems like he likes his name," Dylan replied.
"Wow... Roger, huh (she turned to look at Roger). Come here, Roger, to Mama," Lena said, opening her arms.
Roger immediately jumped into Lena's arms. She instantly caught him and hugged him, stroking his head. Immediately, Ellie, Maya, Amy, Clara, Fiona, and Iris gathered around Lena because they wanted to hold and pet Roger, who looked delighted to be surrounded by pretty girls and purred with a smiling cat face. Aaron glanced at Dylan, then sidled up next to him while watching the others.
"Hey, Big Brother, that cat is a real cat, right? Not like the teapot genie, the living doll, or the ghost AI you brought home?" Aaron whispered.
"Hah... of course not. He's a normal cat," Dylan replied. "I hope so," Dylan muttered in his head.
"Hmm... okay, we'll see," Aaron replied, watching the others.
"You don't trust me, do you?" Dylan asked, staring at his younger brother.
"Hmm... well, you brought Ryan home, and our life instantly got good. Then we went on a mission and came back with Megan. Last, you brought an antique teapot that turned out to be Noah, our cook, so... yeah, I don't trust you at all," Aaron answered.
"You really are a pain," Dylan replied curtly.

Meanwhile, at home, "Ding... dong," the doorbell of Dylan's house, which is actually Amy's house, rang loudly. After no one answered or opened the door, the sound of someone trying to pick the lock on the tightly closed gate was heard. Megan, standing in the living room, turned to look toward the window.
"Megan, it seems they don't have good intentions and are forcing their way in," Ryan said with his digital voice.
"Yes, I can feel it," Megan replied.
"I'll teleport Noah here. Please catch the teapot," Ryan said.
"Alright," Megan replied.
Suddenly, Megan opened her palms. A light appeared and formed an antique teapot resting on Megan's hands. Noah immediately emerged from his teapot, then turned to look out the window. After that, he turned to look at Megan.
"Someone's coming?" Noah asked.
"Yes, uninvited guests," Megan answered.
"Okay, I'll get ready," Noah said, lifting two knives from behind his apron.
The gate opened. Three men walked inside. Two of them looked like they were wearing shirts and had fierce faces, appearing like gang members because they had family crest tattoos on their arms. One of them even had a tattoo from his neck up to his cheek, while the man next to him was bald.
The third man looked like a locksmith, carrying a full set of tools. The three of them stood in the middle of the front yard, then looked around.
"This house has been empty since the old man left, bro, there's no way they're here," said the bald man.
"Hmm... the boss wants us to check it. We'll just check it briefly, then head back to the dojo," replied the man with the face tattoo.
"Ugh... alright," the bald man replied. Then he turned to the locksmith. "Hey, open the front door," the bald man ordered.
"Sure, I'll open it. Just a moment," the locksmith replied, walking toward the front door.
The three of them continued walking toward the house's porch, but just as the locksmith was about to open the door, "Blam," the three immediately spun around, their eyes wide as they saw the gate they had just opened slam shut again. The two men who looked like gang members immediately drew their guns. "Click," the lock on the front door suddenly opened. The locksmith took a step back in fear.
"Boss, the door opened by itself," the locksmith said.
"Let's go inside," the man with the face tattoo replied.
They pushed the door wide open and went right inside, but once the three of them were inside, "Clang," the door slammed shut again. The bald man immediately tried to pull the door open, but it wouldn't budge. His face began to show panic and fear.
"Hey... who are you?" the tattooed man yelled, pointing his gun forward.
The bald man turned around, startled, and pulled out his gun when he saw Megan, who was in the form of a human-sized, mannequin-like doll wearing a maid's uniform, standing in front of them and bowing in greeting. Then, Megan lifted her head and smiled widely until her entire jaw seemed to unhinge, looking terrifying. Then, "Shing," Noah materialized halfway through the wall, holding two knives in his hands, with a chilling expression.
"Click," suddenly, the entire wall opened up, revealing several multi-barreled machine guns hidden inside, like a spaceship's weaponry. The faces of the three men inside instantly turned pale, filled with terror, as if they were watching a horror movie playing out in real life.
"Welcome and goodbye," said Ryan with his digital voice, Megan with her eerie voice, and Noah with his big, booming voice, all at the same time.
"N-no... no... help meee!"
Immediately, the sound of rifles firing, the sound of bodies being sliced, the sound of knives being swung, and muffled screams could be heard, contained by the soundproof room inside the house, completely inaudible from the outside. People walking by the house didn't notice anything or suspect that a horrible event was happening inside.
