Chapter 69: Meeting A New Vampire.

"So, guys, I just got a call from Rian's people. Apparently, someone dangerous is out there looking for him. This person knows a lot, maybe too much. We need to come up with a plan to capture them—alive, and also there is a high probability that this said person is a vampire like me, an experienced One at that. So Any suggestions in catching them alive?" Tahir asked his team.

Esha raised her hand slightly. "I've got an idea. If we need them alive to get answers, I could use my barriers. They can be invisible if I want them to be, which would make capturing them easier." She hesitated. "But… if they're as strong as you, Tahir, it might not be enough."

"About their strength and abilities," Cassy chimed in. "How exactly do vampire abilities work, Tahir?"

Tahir shrugged. "Don't know much. We all have a natural blood ability something we're born with but it's not what I'd call a learned ability."

"Actually, vampires do have abilities beyond their blood power. The type varies by individual," Shaw interjected.

Tahir spun around in the void, glaring at Shaw. "How do you…? Never mind. You both owe me an explanation, but we'll deal with that later." Turning back to Cassy, he added, "So yes, aside from blood abilities, vampires can develop other powers."

Cassy's gaze dropped slightly. "The cuffs they used to restrain me back at the organization—they suppressed my abilities. I still have them. We could use those… on them. Not on you, though," she added nervously.

"Use them on me? Just what were you planning?" Tahir asked, his tone teasing. The group laughed lightly.

"Alright," Tahir declared. "Tomorrow morning, we're paying Two Fang a visit. Be ready."

Later that night, as Tahir lay down to sleep, he found himself drifting into the void. "Alright, you two," he said, addressing Bruce and Shaw. "Mind explaining how you know so much about vampires? And are you really my conscience?"

Bruce sighed. "We need to start with an apology. We lied to you, Tahir. We're not your conscience. We're your guardians."

"Hold on," Shaw cut in. "I never agreed to lie. And for the record, I'm not apologizing to this brat."

"Forget Shaw," Bruce said dismissively. "The truth is, when your father escaped the vampire settlement with your mother, we followed him. We lived in the human realm, hiding, until the alien attacks forced him to act.

"Your father couldn't stand by while Earth was destroyed. He intervened, presenting his plan for the system to me and Shaw. We agreed to serve as your guardians. Your existence, however, triggered something at the vampire leader's throne—a sign that the heir to the Tenth Seat is alive."

Tahir frowned. "The Tenth Seat?"

"Your father was the tenth leader," Bruce explained. "As his son, you're the rightful heir. But this isn't just about claiming a title. The vampires will either take you back to the settlement… or kill you. Your father's escape with a prisoner was considered treason."

Tahir's jaw clenched. "So, running isn't an option. They'll find me no matter what."

Bruce nodded. "Yes. And you're not ready to face them yet. Especially not the King. His strength is unmatched, and his ability is still unknown. When the King enters battle, victory is nearly impossible. The least I can help you with is telling you the strength of the other world leaders and a way to counter the strength."

Tahir smirked faintly. "Quick question. Are your names really Bruce and Shaw?"

"Yes and no," Bruce replied. "We changed names when we came to the human realm. As for our real names… maybe later."

Before they left, Tahir glanced at a new door in the void. "What about that?"

Bruce's face darkened. "That door holds Knora the Shadow Ability. It's an ancient vampire and human power with a mind of its own. It consumed its last host, leaving destruction in its wake. Your father once wielded it but managed to seal it away in the King's vault."

Tahir's eyes lit up. "Can I use it?"

Bruce hesitated. "Use it, yes. But controlling it is another matter. Constant use will lead to the ability taking over."

"Teach me," Tahir said firmly.

Bruce nodded. "If you're willing to give it your all, I'll train you. But for now, rest. Tomorrow will be a long day."

"I still haven't forgiven either of you," Tahir muttered before waking up.

The morning sun streamed through the ship's windows. Kris walked cautiously toward a room where he heard faint noise. Peering inside, he saw Tahir lifting weights with ease—something no normal human could achieve.

"Good morning, Captain," Kris said, leaning against the doorframe. "I see you're up early, preparing for today's… kidnapping."

Tahir set the weights down, a small smirk on his face. "Kidnapping isn't something to be proud of, Kris. But… good morning to you too."

It the anticipated time, tahir was excited because he can't wait to see another vampire. I hope they are plenty strong he thought to himself.

Your bad habit of liking fights is starting to kicking in. Shaw remembered him.

Rian was sent off early in the morning to get to his people and official prepare, when they are done with some minor maintenance they would call him back.

The two fang leader have given me the coordinates of our target and also left me with a friendly advice, don't let your guard down. Tahir said to his team as they all got into the teleporter.

'I can't believe I was able to finally got my own faction, we aren't Big yet but we moving. I promise you silver I'll be so big the world and beyond would hear my name.' Tahir thought to himself as a smirk was starting to play on his face.

"We are here captain." Kris whispered to tahir.

"From my calculations, they shouldn't be able to sense nor feel us. Luckily for us Kris was able to get his hands on an ability that allows him to turn invisible and conceal his presence with it. I can automatically shut down my breathing and also my presence. Remember the plan? If you all do, then esha please begin.." Tahir gave his orders as he was starting to move towards his target.

Placing her hands on the ground her invisible barrier was starting form few inches from their targets.

Jude was standing by, ready to seal their movement with his ability.

Zahra was their last resort, if the enemies prove stubborn then her dragon ice would finish them off.

Moving stealthily tahir and Kris was able to get close and cuff them before they could react, the condition for the cuff to active was a minimum of 2 mins.

"I'll advice both of you to calm down, one wrong move and I promise your head would be rolling on the ground." Tahir said.

"Are you threatening us even while we are cuffed?." One of the royal knights asked.

"Believe me this is nothing close to a threat, this is a friendly advice." Tahir said but this time with a more killing intent.

Both knights look at themselves and made a run, immediately they ran forward they slammed into an invisible barrier with force.

"I told you not to move right?" Tahir asked as he drilled his daggers behind their shoulders and immediately a Small scream left their mouths.

This action took Kris by surprise as the barrier now was already dripping with blood.

Two minutes have passed and the cuffs have successfully activated. Both abilities have been sealed with the cuffs and it made with material that are almost hard to break through.

Activating the teleporter, tahir and his team along with their prisoner teleported to the ship.

Put them in some type of cell in the ship, tahir was going to start the interrogation.

"Before we start I'll like to ask why were you both looking for me? Where are my manners, my name is TAHIR." Tahir said.

"My name is Viktor and my friend is Alaric.

Judging by what you said, I mean the looking for you part, I'll like to believe you are the heir to the tenth leader Seat.

You are to be retrieved immediately, dead or alive." Viktor said.

"And how are you going to do that now Viktor?" Tahir asked.

"With time they will look for us, and if they don't, they would lay waste to the human realm." Alaric answered.

"What made you think that the human would be wiped out? How weak do you think humans are ?" Tahir said disappointed.

"We don't know but neither do we care, I'll just give you a word of advice and release us." Viktor said sternly.

"Are you trying to threatening me?" Tahir asked feeling angry now.

"No, we are just giving you a friendly advice," Alaric said with a smirk.

"I'll be back, when I do I'll ask more questions before either killing you or letting you go." Tahir said as he left the celler.

"Got anything useful out of them?" Kris asked.

"Yes, they want me dead or alive. And would only bring trouble the longer they stay here." Tahir said.

"Let the trouble come, we are ready. Devil dune is ready." Kris said before Pating tahir on his shoulder and leaving Him.

"I'll need to take fresh air, tell the others and ohh help me separate our prisoners and you all should interrogate Alaric." Tahir said as he head out of the ship.

"So? Do you both know who they are?" Tahir asked.

"Viktor and Alaric were little when we left, although they were under Darius.

Darius is a vampire leader." Shaw answered.

"I think it's time you both tell me about the vampire leaders and their strength." Tahir replied.

"Okay... I'll tell you everything I know. Bruce said.

Felicis abilities are Puppet's Eye, puppet eyes helps to Enhances Lydia's blood puppetry by allowing her to see through Felicis's eyes, giving her an edge in controlling multiple targets at once."

"That's cool!. Can I also get a familiar?" Tahir interrupted Bruce.

"Yes you can get. If you go through the rituals. And currently I don't know how to perform the rituals."

"Okay, please continue." Tahir said.
