Chapter 60: Alliance

After the ship left their foothold they flew over numerous bases and they finally arrived on their cordinate As their ship hovered over the faction's base, Tahir activated the ship's comm system. His voice came through clear and steady. "We're here for a discussion, not a threat. Requesting permission to land."

After a brief silence, the faction leader's voice crackled through, granting them clearance. The ship descended smoothly, touching down just outside the base.

Once they disembarked, Tahir turned to Zahra, signaling for her to lead. Zahra stepped forward, addressing the faction leader and his members with a composed, confident tone. "We're from Devil's Dune and have come with a partnership offer," she began, her voice carrying easily. "The terms are simple. Any beast crystals we gather together will be split fifty-fifty, unlike the usual seventy-thirty. Additionally, we'll provide full protection, housing for your members, and regular updates. To ensure you're represented, a member of your faction will also hold a seat on our board."

The faction leader's eyebrows rose, clearly intrigued but cautious. "This sounds… almost too good. If we choose to join you, how strong is Devil's Dune to back up this offer?"

Tahir stepped forward, his voice calm but firm. "We're strong enough to make sure that if you stand with us, you'll never stand alone."

"What protection can you really offer us?" He eyed Tahir's team, his gaze lingering on each member. "You all look like a group of teenagers. How can we trust you to defend us?"

Tahir didn't flinch, maintaining his calm. "Looks can be deceiving. We've faced our share of battles, and each of us has proven our strength time and time again. If you need proof…" He gestured to his team and continued, "we're prepared to demonstrate."

The faction leader smirked, clearly still unconvinced. "Alright, if you're so sure of your strength, prove it. Let's see what you've got."

Tahir gave a slight nod, his tone steady as he addressed the faction leader and his gathered members. "To demonstrate our strength, why don't you choose your strongest warrior? They can spar with any one of us here."

The faction members exchanged glances, whispers of intrigue spreading through the group. The faction leader narrowed his eyes, assessing Tahir and his team, then looked back at his own members before signaling to a towering warrior at his side. The chosen warrior stepped forward, rolling his shoulders and smirking, clearly eager to test the newcomers.

Tahir glanced at his team, then looked back at the faction leader. "Choose who you'd like to face. We're ready to show what Devil's Dune is capable of."

The faction leader scanned the group before nodding toward Esha. The large warrior, still standing tall and confident, turned his gaze to her. "I'll fight her," he said with a smirk, pointing at Esha.

Tahir stepped forward, his voice steady. "The terms are simple. If we win, your faction joins us, sharing the beast crystals and gaining our protection. If you win, we'll leave peacefully and surrender."

The warrior gave a slight nod, clearly not concerned. He advanced toward Esha, who held her ground, her body tense but focused.

As the fight began, the giant warrior lunged at Esha with surprising speed, swinging his heavy fist. Esha dodged just in time, but the ground shook with his force. She managed a quick jab to his side, but it hardly seemed to affect him. He retaliated with a wide swing that caught her off guard, landing a blow to her side. Esha staggered back, wincing at the pain.

Zahra called out from the sidelines, "Esha, focus. You've got this!"

The warrior advanced, but this time, Esha steeled herself. Her breathing slowed, focusing inward as she tapped into her healing ability. She had learned to harness it not just to mend wounds, but to fuel her muscles and enhance her strength. Slowly, she felt the familiar surge of energy as the healing power coursed through her, amplifying her physical abilities. Her body pulsed with newfound strength, and the pain from the previous blow began to dull.

The warrior charged again, but this time, Esha's enhanced strength gave her the edge. She ducked under his punch, then used her newfound speed to sidestep and land a solid strike to his legs, causing him to stumble. With a quick follow-up, she swept his legs out from under him, sending him to the ground with a thud.

The faction members watched in stunned silence. The warrior groaned, slowly pushing himself up, a hint of admiration in his eyes. "You've got some power," he muttered.

Esha stood over him, her breathing steady but her energy already starting to fade. "I told you," she said quietly.

The faction leader stepped forward, clearly impressed. "It seems we have underestimated you all. Perhaps this partnership is worth considering after all."

Tahir, watching intently, gave a nod of approval. "You've seen what we're capable of. Now, are we in agreement?"

The warrior, still catching his breath, looked back to the faction leader. The tension in the air was palpable. After a long moment of silence, the faction leader spoke.

"You have proven your strength. We will honor the terms of the agreement."

After the battle ended and the Two Fang's faction agreed to join Devil's Dune, the atmosphere shifted to one of mutual respect. The faction leader stepped forward, his voice strong but respectful. "We swear our alliance to you, Tahir, and to your team. Two Fang will stand with you as agreed."

Tahir gave a slight nod, accepting their words. He then pulled out a small, sleek device and handed it over to the faction leader. "This will allow you to contact me whenever you need," he explained. "It's connected directly to us, so there won't be any delay in reaching out."

The faction leader nodded, accepting the device and passing it to a young man at his side. "This one will join your board, as agreed," the leader said, indicating the young man, who looked nervous but resolute. "He will represent Two Fang and maintain communication with you."

The young man stepped forward, bowing respectfully to Tahir. "Thank you for the opportunity," he said.

Tahir offered a slight smile. "We look forward to working with you."

With the formalities completed, Tahir sent a message to the press team, broadcasting to them that Two Fang had officially joined their ranks.

Meanwhile, word of the alliance quickly reached another powerful faction, one led by a world leader who had been eyeing Two Fang for some time. A messenger arrived at the leader's stronghold, breathless from the news.

"Leader," the messenger said, bowing deeply, "we've just received word. Two Fang, the faction we've been trying to recruit, has sworn an alliance with another faction. It's called 'Devil's Dune,' and they've joined forces with them. The faction is led by a man named Tahir."

The leader's eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint as he absorbed the news. "Tahir, you say?" he repeated, a playful grin tugging at his lips. "I have heard that name before."

He stood, stretching as though in contemplation, before turning to the messenger. "Find out everything you can about this new faction. Learn their strengths, their weaknesses, and if they're a real threat. If we can't gain anything useful from this… we will strike. And the first target will be the faction that dared to reject our invitation and accept Devil's Dune. I want to make an example of them."

The messenger nodded quickly. "Understood, Leader."

With that, the leader gave a final, decisive gesture. "Go. And make sure you bring back something we can use."
