My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 412: The Trio In Action....With Words

I held my forehead and let out a long sigh as I listened to the three of them argue.

It wasn't hard to tell who was who just from their voices and emotions. Their personalities shone through clearly, even if their memories of past lives seemed completely gone.

Silver sounded like a teenager—excited, loud, and always looking for fun. Most of the time he just wanted to fight, or do something silly for the thrill of it. Every few seconds, I could hear him squealing with excitement or muttering something about testing his new strength.

Knight was the opposite. Calm, quiet, and precise like a true assassin. But underneath that seriousness, he had this weird obsession with saying dumb jokes.

In the ten minutes I stood there, just listening, he had already dropped three random ones without any reason at all. It was almost ridiculous.

Then there was Lyrate. She carried herself like a queen, her voice smooth, deliberate, and commanding.

But the moment the topic of fighting or killing came up, all that regal composure disappeared. Suddenly she sounded like a child, giddy and playful, as if the abominations were her toys and she was determined to break every single one of them.

I shook my head slowly, a small smile forming. Despite the chaos, I could feel how strong and alive they were. Each one was completely different, yet together they made an unbeatable team.

"All right, all right. Stop arguing. Everyone will get a chance to fight, of course. I want all of us to reach Grandmaster quickly, and then we'll move on to the next rank. A new war is coming soon."

'Hell yeah!' Silver shouted, excitement crackling in his voice.

'I'll be ready,' Knight whispered, his tone calm but firm.

'We are going to war,' Lyrate said, her red eyes glowing with increased intensity.

I took a deep breath and looked at the three of them. "All right, let's go. Cassian needs our help."

Silver's wings fluttered eagerly, his crimson feathers catching the sunlight.

'Wait! Can we ride together? I can carry you both,' he said, his voice brimming with excitement.

I raised an eyebrow and nodded. "Sure, why not. Lyrate, you ready?"

Lyrate's crimson mist swirled around her, and she smirked. "I suppose you will make a decent mount, Silver. But only just."

Knight, meanwhile, shifted in the shadows at my side, his black fur blending with the faint darkness. 'I don't need a mount. I'm faster on my own,' he muttered, the faintest smirk in his voice.

Silver scoffed. 'Faster? I have wings, Knight. You can't beat me in the air.'

'Maybe not,' Knight replied coolly, 'but I can always run faster. And besides,' he added, ''Why do birds never race me? Because I vanish before the starting line.'

Silver groaned. 'You're so stupid! That wasn't even funny.'

I laughed and shook my head.

Without waiting for another argument, Lyrate and I carefully landed on Silver's broad back.

His wings stretched wide, muscles coiling under my gaze. With a sudden beat, he surged upward, lifting us into the air. The wind roared past our faces as the clearing below shrank quickly.

Knight didn't hesitate. With a flicker, he dissolved into shadow, disappearing from sight. The next moment, I saw him streaking ahead like a living black streak, racing Silver.

Lyrate leaned slightly forward, her eyes glinting with curiosity. "So, who exactly are we going to fight? Those disgusting creatures again?"

I shook my head slowly. "Yes, but don't attack any humans, Lyrate. They are off-limits."

She simply nodded, her expression calm but eager. "Understood. Leave the killing to me."

Silver whooped loudly, spinning midair with a sharp twist of his wings. 'This is amazing! I can feel every gust, every flow of wind! And Knight, you're so slow, you can't keep up with me.'

'Slow?' Knight's shadowed voice came from just ahead, cutting through the forest like a dark light. 'I'll beat you to the top of that ridge and back before you finish bragging.'

'Ha! Not a chance, you shadow freak!' Silver replied, banking sharply to climb higher. 'My wings are pure speed and style. You're just a dark blur!'

I couldn't help smiling, feeling the thrill as we all surged forward.

Lyrate maintained her poise, but I could see her body slightly tense with excitement, ready to strike the moment we reached the battlefield.

Silver was practically vibrating with energy, his voice echoing in the air as he joked and teased Knight relentlessly. Knight, of course, didn't respond much, just letting his speed and shadows speak for him.

'Hold on tight!' Silver yelled, banking sharply to avoid a rocky outcrop. 'This is going to be awesome!'

Then Knight's voice cut through my mind.

'You've lost, Silver.'

'Huh?' Silver squawked, startled.

I widened my perception just in time to see Knight's body dissolve into shadows. He drilled through space like a bolt and appeared right in front of the military base.

Silver's whole body trembled, and I felt a sudden surge of anger radiate from him. Then he flapped his wings with incredible force. A sonic boom tore through the air, and in an instant, he brought Lyrate and me directly in front of the base.

'I thought we weren't supposed to use laws,' Silver muttered.

'Who said so?' Knight shot back, his voice calm and teasing.

I scanned the battlefield with my perception. Cassian and the soldiers were deeply engaged with the horde of abominations. Cassian himself fought three grandmaster abominations, while the masters were left to other soldiers.

I spotted the butterfly, the strongest of them all, in the beta zone. She hovered above the fallen abominations, feeding, her wings spread wide.

"Well, that's weird," I muttered.

I turned my attention back to my three summons. "So, are you guys ready to test your increased power? If you are, just go ahead and kill."

Lyrate's lips curved into a confident smile. "I like that," she said. In the next second, her body shot forward like an arrow, Knight following closely behind her.

"I'm off, Billion. Watch me tear everything apart!" Silver yelled, his wings flashing as he soared higher.

"Sure," I replied, watching as all three of them surged forward, their crimson mist swirling around them, ready to unleash their new power.

It was a moment of pure anticipation. The horde didn't stand a chance, and I could feel the excitement from my summons pulsing like a second heartbeat.
