My System Arrives 3 Years Earlier, But the Deities Haven't Come Yet

Chapter 109: Chapter 109: A Plethora of Pet Mounts

[Beast-type Creature: Terrifying Demon Bear]

[Qualification: Lord]

[Tier: 0/13000]

[Name: Huanhuan/Yaya]

[Skills: Untriggered]

[Followers: None]

[Mood: Exhausted, Depressed]

[Analysis: These seemingly docile and obedient pandas can transform into terrifying demon bears, standing three to four meters tall with a surge of power when angered. They make excellent mounts in the giant beast category.]

Zeng Shen used his Peeping Eye on Huanhuan and Yaya, confirming that they were terrifying giant beasts that would survive for three years.

Feeling relieved, he proceeded with taming them.

Perhaps due to their prolonged captivity, it took only four taming attempts to successfully tame both beasts.

As soon as they were tamed, the previously dull and lifeless eyes of Yaya and Huanhuan brightened, regaining a spark of vitality.

They stood up in their enclosures, gripping the bars with their hefty paws, scanning the crowd of Daxia people as if searching for someone.

Upon spotting Zeng Shen, both pandas' eyes filled with eagerness, and they bellowed loudly.

From their cries, Zeng Shen could faintly discern their feelings of grievance, a plea for help, and a desperate desire to leave.

The onlookers, already angry at the white-skinned caretakers for their treatment of the pandas, were further enraged.

Some took to social media and video platforms, others contacted the embassy, and some called to lodge complaints.

They wanted to make more people in Daxia aware of the unfortunate conditions Yaya and Huanhuan, their national treasures, were enduring on this foreign land.

"Wait for me," Zeng Shen mouthed silently to Yaya and Huanhuan, then turned with a look of utter disdain towards the white-skinned caretakers.

The caretakers stood with arms crossed, arrogantly dismissing the emotional Daxia visitors.

"The zoo's budget is limited; this is the best environment we can provide."

"They're too aggressive to be left uncaged."

"Bathe them? If they catch a cold, will you take responsibility?"

"Fresh bamboo leaves? Didn't you hear me say the zoo's budget is limited? They're lucky to get leftover greens."

"The zoo's budget is limited? That's infuriating," Zeng Shen gritted his teeth, concentrating.

A banana peel flew out of a nearby trash can, hurling towards the caretakers.

"Smack..."

The banana peel hit one caretaker's face. Though no one saw who threw it, the act prompted the crowd to join in, pelting the caretakers with whatever they had.

In an instant, the arrogant caretakers were forced to cover their heads and flee.

"Curse of Acute Gastroenteritis," Zeng Shen cast another spell at them before heading to the adjacent animal enclosure.

The adjacent enclosure housed two large brown bears, significant for being one of the top ten animal symbols of the country.

The enclosure was spacious and bright, complete with artificial mountains, lush old trees, a fake stream, and play equipment.

It was at least ten times larger than Yaya and Huanhuan's enclosure.

Moreover, the bears weren't caged and were well-fed, their fur shiny and healthy as they played with a large rubber ball.

It was evident to any observer that these bears were well cared for and fed.

Seeing this disparity, a wave of anger surged through Zeng Shen.

He realized that the Mengchuan Zoo deliberately used the conditions of the pandas' enclosure and the stark contrast to provoke the Daxia visitors.

It wasn't about budget constraints, as the caretakers claimed.

Taking a deep breath, Zeng Shen used his Peeping Eye on the two brown bears.

The feedback showed that these bears would become elite Roaring Giant Bears in the future.

Without hesitation, Zeng Shen used two taming skills, securing them as reserves for future giant beast mounts.

He then moved towards an enclosure that attracted the most blond tourists, a large gorilla pen.

As he approached, a warning sounded in his ear, but he ignored it.

Peering into the enclosure, he saw it was half the size of the brown bear pen and housed about thirty chimpanzees of varying sizes.

These chimpanzees were agile, surrounding a particularly strong chimpanzee, establishing a clear social hierarchy.

Zeng Shen used his Peeping Eye on the dominant chimpanzee.

A virtual panel visible only to him appeared above the chimpanzee leader.

[Hell-type Creature: Boisterous Fire Ape King]

[Qualification: Lord]

[Tier: 0/8000]

[Name: Adam]

[Skills: Untriggered.]

[Followers: None]

[Mood: Excited, Expectant]

[Analysis: A hell-type creature prone to agitation, boasting exceptional speed and flaming fists. Though not evolved into an intelligent species, the Boisterous Fire Ape excels in mimicking human behavior and collaboratively hunting, even farming.]

Zeng Shen used his Peeping Eye on all thirty chimpanzees, finding only ten would survive for three years, all with elite qualifications.

He quickly tamed these ten chimpanzees and the lord-qualified leader.

After taming the chimpanzees, Zeng Shen wasted no time, heading deeper into the zoo.

Throughout, he tamed every animal he encountered that could be tamed.

After several hours, Zeng Shen had explored the entire Mengchuan Zoo, amassing a significant collection.

His pet list now included two parrots destined to become sub-dragon King Kong Fierce Dragons, four leopards set to evolve into lightning leopards, six future fire birds, eight Great American turkeys set to become terrifying turkeys, and ten groundhogs slated to transform into earth beasts.

As for other zoo animals like elk, pronghorns, mountain lions, and bald eagles, none would live past three years.

This was a slight disappointment, as they would have been excellent giant beast mounts.

The zoo closed at 4:30 PM, so Zeng Shen left with the other visitors.

He then took a taxi to the nearby insectarium.

The insectarium was small, selling various insects, including spiders...
