With only a boxer on, Hiro stood stripped half naked. The figure of Hiro attending the call stripped half naked startled Ayumi.
More than anything else, she could visibly see the shape of the huge snake under his boxer.
Hearing the scream of a girl, Hiro was startled too. He didn't know it was a girl he was talking to.
Startled, he immediately rushed to the bed without putting on his shirt. He wanted to get away from the camera as fast as he could.
He also wasn't aware that it was a video call either.
On the other side of the screen, Ayumi covered her eyes with her hand. Though it wasn't her first time seeing the opposite sex exposed skin, she still couldn't get used to seeing Hiro naked.
For some reason, she couldn't help but shake the thought of seeing the shape of his dong.
Her face flushed bright red as she thought about it.
'Geez! What's wrong with me? It's not my first time seeing this. Also, he wasn't even completely naked. So, why am I reacting this way?'
Both her ears and her cheeks felt warm and they were glowing bright red.
Though embarrassed, she couldn't help but think about Hiro's robust figure. The sight of his muscular body kept reappearing before her eyes.
Just thinking about it made her even more embarrassed.
Hiro quickly put on a few clothes before appearing on the screen. Upon appearing on the screen, Hiro began to apologize.
"I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was a video call," Hiro apologized.
Ayumi now much more relaxed stared at him. She didn't want to make an issue out of this. Thus, she didn't pursue this matter any further.
"It's okay. It was only a mistake. Let's forget about it," she said, her tone relaxed. "More importantly, I wanted to talk to you about something important."
"One of your clauses with Mizuno stated that you could terminate the contract as per your wishes without backlash after turning eighteen. And now that you've attracted the attention of giants like Nike and Addidas, I wanted to talk to you about it."
Without beating around the bush, Ayumi came straight to the topic. Even with her thoughts shaken, she maintained her composure as she revealed her intention.
Hiro was much more relaxed too. The incident had already faded and he no longer cared about it. The atmosphere had made him forget his embarrassment.
Hiro's brows knitted as his expression turned solemn. He began to ponder over the matter. He began to analyze both the pros and cons.
'Should I do this? Would it be appropriate? I said, I wouldn't falter but it's hard. Mizuno didn't treat me badly either,' Hiro began to ponder.
Switching brands isn't as simple as it looks. It means abandoning the previous image and adapting a completely new one.
Thus, Hiro found it rather troublesome to think about it.
Though he had predicted such a dilemma before, he still found it hard to decide. Sure, he could exercise his right to terminate the contract. But wouldn't it look like he'd be abandoning the brand that trusted him before?
"What are the terms of the contract?" Hiro couldn't help but ask.
He sounded rather serious and Ayumi could tell it.
"Should I filter the offers?" Ayumi asked.
Hiro nodded. He didn't want to hear lengthy contract terms. He wanted to hear the best offers presented to him at the moment.
"Nike, Addidas, Puma, and New Balance, all of these big brands have expressed their desire to sign you."
"Nike has offered you a contract worth 2.5 million euros annually. Addidas on the other hand offered quite less than Nike, 2.3 million euros. However, both Puma and New Balance have offered a much more lucrative deal than both Nike and Addidas."
"Puma offered you a 10-year contract with 3.5 million euros annually. On the other hand, New Balance has offered a whopping sum of 4 million euros for 10 years too."
"The contract period for Nike and Addidas are much shorter as compared to Puma and New Balance."
Hiro began to ponder. He could tell that those brands were serious about signing him. Just the annual sponsorship deal was alone to convince him of their sincerity.
Among them, Puma and New Balance seem the most desperate to sign him. Perhaps, they believe in his potential as an upcoming rising star and want to invest in him early.
If he signed with any of these brands, he could earn a massive sum. Even by industry standards, it was a huge sum.
Even most of the established players weren't earning this much.
However, if he compared the deal of Addidas he received with Yamal's, it was still less. After all, Yamal earned a total of 3.2 million euros annually.
A whopping 1 million difference.
Yet still, it was a massive amount. Most players wouldn't even get this deal after establishing well in Europe. Yet they were willing to invest such a massive sum in a budding 18-year-old
teenager.
This alone was enough to convince him of their sincerity.
Hiro, however, still couldn't decide. Knitting his brows, he turned to look at the screen. Upon looking at the screen, he found Ayumi with an unusual expression. It was as if there was more
to it.
Hence, he couldn't help but ask, "Is there something more to it?"
"Umm," Ayumi stared at him, her expression a little tense, "Actually, Mizuno also has
expressed their desire to renew the contract."
Compared to the industry giants like Nike and Addidas, Mizuno was like a small fish in the
pond.
"Oh," Hiro's brows raised. He felt intrigued, "Tell me about it."
"Honestly, they're offering the same amount as New Balance. However, if I had to compare the terms of the contract, it would be much more attractive," Ayumi said, her tone sounding a
little hesitant.
Hiro had worked with them for years. He had also been their brand ambassador. So, he
couldn't help but feel a sense of attachment to the brand.
Though it's less heard than the other giants, it had the potential.
He had been using their boot for years and he hadn't been disappointed.
