"Are you scared to stay here alone? Do you want me to carry you out?" Lin Yifan asked.

Following the signs on the wall, he quickly located Room 508. Arriving at the door, he tried to open it, but after several attempts, he couldn't. So, he resorted to using force.

The imprisoned girls inside saw the doorknob being manipulated and suddenly became frightened; they were worried the next to be violated could be them.

However, a moment later, loud banging sounds created a sense that someone was coming to rescue them; they eagerly focused all their attention on the door, eager to see if it was true.

The door was kicked open, and the next second, a tall man stained with blood appeared before them.

His attire seemed formal, unlike someone from the Dagger Gang; however, the blood on him and his stern face involuntarily frightened them.

"Who is this? Is he here to rescue us, or to kill us?" the innocently imprisoned girls debated amongst themselves, filled with concern.

After kicking the door open, Lin Yifan hurried in, checked the situation, and found that all the imprisoned girls were bound.

"Who are you? What are you going to do?" a girl asked nervously, clearly startled.

"I'm here to rescue you! You are safe now," Lin Yifan explained.

He first reassured the group of girls, calming their frightened emotions; then, he began untying their restraints one by one.

Once freed, the group of girls thanked Lin Yifan profusely, "Thank you!"

"Don't mention it," Lin Yifan replied, then added, "Stay here for now. I'll finish up some things and come back for you."

He still had important business to attend to, so he couldn't have them creating any disturbances.

"Okay!" the girls were compliant, seemingly indifferent to what they had to do as long as they were being rescued.

"Don't worry! No more bad guys will come to harm you. Stay here with confidence," he said, then left the room to gather everyone in the city, both men and women, on the first floor.

Seeing the pathetic state of these people and remembering the man's warning, they dared not step out of the lobby, fearing the "helpers" outside would kill them.

"What did the Dagger Gang do to provoke such a person? Why were they beaten so badly?" someone inquired, puzzled.

"Don't know; but, I think it must be someone more powerful than the Dagger Gang; otherwise, they wouldn't act like this," another person answered.

As everyone discussed the Dagger Gang, Brother Liang was tempted to slap each one of them. But considering his predicament, he thought it best to keep a low profile.

On the other side, the trafficked girls were terrified, uncertain how the man would punish them.
