Chapter 164: Weren't You Very Arrogant Just Now?
"Put on your clothes! Wait for me downstairs!" Lin Yifan repeated, then continued on to the next place.
He had his way of dealing with these clients.
Those who came here were likely to be people of status and wealth; hence, it was a big business opportunity that couldn't be missed.
Upon reaching the next room, Lin Yifan faintly heard voices seeping through the door.
"Damn it!" Lin Yifan cursed under his breath, then kicked the door open.
Why was he so angry? Because it made him feel both great and terrible at the same time.
The sudden kicking open of the door startled the two people inside.
"Fuck! Who are you! Didn't you know this is Brother Liang's room?"
"So, you are..." Lin Yifan asked expressionlessly.
"No shit! You're gonna pay for this!" the man calling himself Brother Liang threatened.
But the very next moment, he was scared pissless.
Lin Yifan moved the Blood Blade from behind his back to his side, then gave a cold smirk. He twirled the blade, sending out a chilling gleam; quickly footsteps followed, and as his hand rose, the blade fell, landing a slash across Brother Liang's back—a truly shocking wound.
"Ahh!!!"
A cry of immense pain rose as the man calling himself Brother Liang quickly fled to a corner of the room, begging in terror, "Big brother! Don't kill me! Don't kill me!"
"Weren't you acting tough just now? Why aren't you tough anymore?" Lin Yifan pressed.
"Because you're tougher, big brother!" Brother Liang answered, trembling terribly.
"Fuck, does that mean you can't be tough anymore?" Lin Yifan continued to press.
"How can the little one be tough when the big brother is tough?" Brother Liang shivered, filled with extreme fear.
His life was in someone else's hands now; just one stab and he'd be done. So it wasn't a time to show off; he had to endure.
"Look at you, having such little ambition. How are you suppose to be the big boss? Just go home and farm instead." Lin Yifan derided continuously.
Such an attitude was always disdainful to him. But in the face of death, what else mattered?
"Alright! As long as big brother spares me, I'll go back to farming tomorrow." Brother Liang continued to endure, not being provoked.
"What if you can't make it happen?" Lin Yifan asked.
"If I can't, I'm willing to cripple my own hands," Brother Liang said, risking it all to save his life.
"Good! Remember your words; if I ever see you again in Guiyuan City, then you can wait for your corpse to be collected," Lin Yifan threatened.
He didn't believe the man's nonsense, but he had given him enough of a lesson, and there was no need to kill him; after all, this wasn't a battlefield, and taking lives deliberately carried with it legal responsibilities.
Calming himself, he continued asking the same question, "Are you the boss here?"
"No! No!" Brother Liang answered hastily.
"Then where's your boss?" Lin Yifan asked angrily.
"In... in Room 626," Brother Liang answered, trembling with fear.
At this point, he had no choice but to betray his own boss; if he didn't, he might be the one to die.
"Put on your clothes and wait for me on the first floor, and don't think about running away; my men have sealed the entire building. Anyone who tries to escape will be summarily executed," Lin Yifan warned.
As a local, Brother Liang knew of many possible escape routes, so he couldn't let him lead these wealthy people to escape, or it would be a huge loss.
"Understood! Big brother!" Brother Liang replied, bearing the pain.
He didn't know how deep the knife wound on his back was, but it was extremely painful; and the back of his shirt felt soaked with blood.
Leaving the room, Lin Yifan headed straight for Room 626, ready to teach a lesson.
Turning left and right, he finally found Room 626 at the end of a corridor.
There were two underlings guarding the door to Room 626, obviously not wanting anyone to disturb their boss.
Holding the blood-colored blade, Lin Yifan approached coldly.
"Thud! Thud!"
Clear footsteps sounded in the silent hallway, eerily unsettling.
Upon hearing the footsteps, the two underlings looked curiously in their direction; seeing a figure, they called out, "Who are you? Leave immediately!"
However, their questions were not answered; instead, the footsteps continued, coming closer and clearer.
As the figure didn't comply, the two underlings grew angry and challenged, "Looking for death?"
Yet, the figure did not respond to their question. He kept approaching, unruffled.
"Fuck! Die then!" The two underlings grew uncontrollably furious and immediately drew a sharp knife from their waists, hurling it with force.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
Two Flying Knives swiftly flew, heading straight for the mysterious figure in the hallway.
"Bang! Bang!"
The next moment, two sounds of metal clashing echoed, and sparks lit up the somewhat dim hallway.
"Hmm?" The two underlings furrowed their brows, sensing trouble.
Anyone who could catch their Flying Knives so easily was no ordinary person.
Therefore, they warned again, "One last time! Leave quickly, or we won't be polite anymore."
