Are you mad at me?
"Oath of eternity? " I didn't have any idea what she meant by that since in the first place I didn't know many things about the tourism in Karuizawa.
Sayo-san, who was sitting beside Tsubaki, leaned forward so she could look at me directly, and with an enthusiastic smile she responded, "Yeah, there is a small bridge near the resort where we would be living. The rumors say that those who vow their love at the stroke of midnight under a starry sky always remain with their partner for an eternity. "
My brows rose instinctively at that since, more than amazed by the tale itself, I was surprised to hear that people actually believe such modern-day myths.
....however, when my eyes went toward Tsubaki's starry eyes and fascinated expression, I knew, that making a joke about this would hurt her feelings.
Soon Sayo-san left us since her friends seemed to have been playing some games. There were mostly girls who were still wide awake on the bus.
Disregarding the other thoughts, I took hold of Tsubaki's soft pinkish hand which brought her out of her trance as I asked in a whispering tone, "Do you want to go there?"
Tsubaki hurriedly shook her head, probably because she wanted to pretend like she didn't believe in such folklore...but soon her neck paused, and a soft nod told me her true feelings.
I smiled before collecting my precious Kayo in my arms as I spoke in a warm tone, "Then we'll go. After all, I could never get enough of expressing my love for you."
Tsubaki's pearly eyes widened slightly before she snuggled her face into my chest to hide her blush. Seriously, how can this person have so many sides and each one of them, so beautiful?

"Just two hours and we would be there. " The teacher inside our bus announced as I finished eating the rice ball.
It has already been four hours since we began our journey. The scenery outside has completely changed and truth be told, I have never felt this peace before as much as this new surrounding was providing.
"You want some tea, Kazu-kun? " I shook my head at the offer since I had finished some coffee just a few minutes ago.
"Hey, try this. You will get a superb burp. " I felt some weight on my head as I heard Kunimi's voice who had woken up just fifteen minutes ago, and only because he was hungry.
To be honest, I felt bad for Sayo-san since that bastard clearly showed how much importance she held in life. Well, Kunimi was somehow able to pacify her anger as they had a peaceful (ramen) lunch in their seat.
"Hmm?" I took hold of the cold container Kunimi offered only to realize that it was a carbonated drink.
"Nu-uh...Kazu-kun won't be drinking this." Tsubaki didn't even ask my opinion before taking the beverage away and giving it back to Kunimi.
"..."
"Kazuya~I thought you said something about Tsubaki-san not being your something?"
(Ref ch: - 71)
'This bastard... ' I grit my teeth in annoyance hearing that voice as Kunimi's grinning face immediately popped into my head even though I hadn't turned to see him.
"What is he talking about, Kazu-kun?" An innocent Tsubaki tilted her head as she asked in a cute tone.
"It's nothing...don't listen to that knucklehead." I sighed with a reply.
Seriously, why does Kunimi have to offer that drink in front of Tsubaki when he already knows how much she cares for my health and such?
Well, she does get overboard from time to time but it shows how much she looks out for me.
"Hmm?" I turned my head toward Tsubaki who was tugging at my sleeve softly. Cute.
"Kazu-kun...are you mad at me? "
I blinked in confusion before asking, "Why would I? "
"I mean...I always forbid you from consuming various things...Am I being a nuisance?"
For starters, it's too late to ask this Tsubaki...and with that painfully endearing face, you are just asking for lots of hugs and cuddles, nothing less.
Regardless, I didn't allow my princess to remain anxious for long before I assured her, " I love the way you are so don't worry about such small things, alright?"
I kissed her forehead gently to calm her down.
It was surprising how a girl could possess so many sides yet when it comes to me, she would always be my sweet and caring Kayo.

Almost after seven hours of journey the bus finally came to a halt in front of a massive door. There were various helpers awaiting us to carry our luggage.
I along with Tsubaki, Sayo-san, and Kunimi got off the transport as well.
The weather was freezing so I draped the hood of Tsubaki's sweater over her head and pulled the string slightly.
"Ah, Kazu-kun, my hair~" Despite the complaint, Tsubaki didn't pull the hood and just adjusted it slightly.
"It's cold here..ah, can't wait for onsen. " Sayo-san said while rubbing her bare hands. I saw Kunimi taking out gloves from his pockets before he handed them to the blond midget.
"Now that you talk about it...aren't there mixed private baths as well, in here? "
Hearing Kunimi's voice, my eyes slightly widened as the thought of entering the onsen with my girlfriend suddenly emerged in my mind.
Seeing her porcelain skin in the steamy bath was extremely enticing enough to make me gulp.
I thought Tsubaki didn't hear Kunimi since there was a lot of noise around but when I glanced to my right...
'So I am not the only one... '
The redness her face has adapted said it all. It was not only me who wanted to enter the onsen with her, Tsubaki wanted the same. And now that we are here, I surely gonna make this trip memorable for both of us.
