Mason was the most surprised in the class. His cheek was already swollen, and blood flowed out of his nose. Tears had started to flow down his cheeks.

There was so little time before the competition; no matter how good of an actor Lucian is, it would be useless if they couldn't even practice a little.

Without wasting any time, the ones acting in the drama began to practice.

Except for wearing their costumes, they were doing everything as they would do in the real act, except for the kisses.

Ava and Lucian weren't kissing during the practice as she felt shy, so Lucian didn't pester her.

Just when they had started to practice for the second time, Lucian's mobile began to vibrate violently in his pocket, which didn't seem normal at all. So he walked to the side in the middle of the practice and took out his mobile.

" Is everything alright? " Ava looked surprised as Lucian suddenly walked away while speaking his line. The others looked at him too.

Lucian looked at the screen of his mobile as his expression changed. It was a message from Echo.

( I have spotted the same men who came to advertise their school near the house. It seems they are up to something. )

"How many are there? Did they come there in vehicles? " Lucian asked, gripping his mobile tightly.

( There are over seven of them. There might be more of them, and they are travelling in cars. Right now, they are headed towards a house. I won't be able to keep a watch on them as that area has no cameras. )

"Sorry, I have to leave urgently, " Lucian said as he glanced back and, without waiting for any response, he walked out of the room.

Ava was stunned. Then she followed behind while asking: " Is everything alright? We have just started to practice. Why are you leaving so suddenly? "

As Lucian walked out of the class, she followed behind him hurriedly, but just as Lucian turned around by the door, he disappeared. Ava looked at the corridors on both sides of the drama club but couldn't see him anywhere.

" W- Where did he disappear off to? He was here just a moment ago? " Ava mumbled, her gaze moving all over the corridor.

Lucian ran at full speed as he walked out of the corridor in an instant without caring if anyone was around. Lucian jumped from the first floor.

As two large red wings with black patterns on them appeared behind his back, spreading wide.

Like a rocket, he shot towards the direction of his house. A couple of students who were playing outside were only able to see a blur as it disappeared into the sky.

Lucian flew as fast as he could. A strong rage building up inside him.

Seven men sat inside a car. There was no number plate on the car, and all the men inside were wearing masks on their faces.

Three children were lying on one of the seats of the car, all unconscious with a needle mark on their necks.
