"Welcome to the region, Lord Lin Lee. I am the golden general of the UH alliance. I am here to receive you on behalf of the human emperor."

The person in golden armor greeted them calmly, looking at both of them, and then flew forward toward them and then landed on the dragon's back.

He waved his hand, and a wormhole opened in front of them, and then he spoke respectfully while gesturing toward it and walked inside, saying, "Please, lord, follow me."

Lin Lee nodded and followed him inside, and the next moment he found himself in a familiar environment, a tranquil lake in the middle and forest around it and a wooden house in the middle of the lake.

The golden general stood aside, and Lin Lee walked forward toward a middle-aged man sitting beside the lake wearing casual clothes and a long fishing rod in his hand.

'Is this an artifact? Also, this guy is the reincarnated protagonist.' Lin Lee immediately recognized the fishing rod in his hand and the clothes on his body, which are normal trouser shirts that men used to wear on Earth.

"Welcome, Mr. Lin Lee, I didn't expect another reincarnation to appear after all these years.

The middle-aged man spoke, turned around, and glanced at him with a smile on his face.

Lin Lee raised his brow and asked, "Are you also?"

The middle-aged man nodded, and then he raised his hand and showed the fishing rod and said,

"I was just born on a remote human planet without any technological powers; the whole civilization was in a barbaric state, but this Hongmeng rod helped our civilization reach such a state. It's just this artifact reached the limit of this universe; I don't know a way ahead."

After speaking, he sighed, turned, glanced in the direction of Lin Lee, and spoke, "You, my friend, I can feel that you know a way to leave this universe."

Lin Lee was startled, and then he asked, strangely looking at him,

"Can't the tenth-level civilization find a way to the parallel universe? I thought, as an apex technology in the universe, your technological prowess could have accessed the dimensions and other parallel universes and timelines."

The middle-aged man shook his head and replied, "Theoretically, it is possible, but the condition is a civilization must follow only one path. Now, because of my artifact, the UH has already followed countless different paths, and it is now blocked by the universe's laws. I can't see the end of these paths."

After speaking, he stood up and threw the fishing rod toward the Lin Lee and walked toward the hut, saying,

"Friend Lin, you can have this artifact, and I am handing over the human civilization to you."

Lin Lee raised his brow, catching the rod, and then he glanced at the back of the current human emperor confusingly.

"Why do you want me to take care of human civilization? Aren't you afraid that I will lead them toward the destruction?"

The human emperor stopped and then turned around, glanced at him, and spoke, "It's yours now; you can do whatever you want with them. I have already done a lot, and now they are ungrateful. You can destroy them; I won't care. I have already found a way to leave this universe alone."

After speaking, he walked inside the hut, and the next moment a bright light flashed on the whole hut; it disappeared from Lin Lee and Virelia's vision.

The golden general standing behind them was also startled; he glanced in the direction of Lin Lee and the Hongmeng rod in his hand. A gleam flashed through his eyes, but he hid it away and walked forward, knelt down on the ground, and greeted,

"Your majesty, the golden general is at your service,"

Lin Lee startled and became thoughtful looking at the general kneeling in front of him. 'What is happening here? I didn't encounter any danger. All of these strong creatures avoid and respect me, as if heaven is sheltering me. Am I the protagonist in this universe?

Lin Lee thought to himself speechlessly; even the original entity outside the omniverse is startled and opened its pupil and gazed at the direction of three omniverses in the middle of the omniverse's bubbles.

"Interesting, these omniverses sensed my presence; that's why they are treating my clone so attentively."

Lin Lee muttered playfully and then closed his eyes didn't care, he knew his clone will deal with all the trouble and started absorbing the chaotic source and chaotic embryo from the surrounding omniverses, leaving the only three omniverses with living creatures behind.

Meanwhile,

Inside the human civilization's main realm, Lin Lee glanced at the fishing rod in his hand and then wished for its information.

Instantly a golden light flashed on his soul, and the golden star was activated; info about the rod appeared in his mind.

Including the golden general, four figures appeared around him in a formation and released technological devices that emitted strange frequencies from all sides, freezing Lin Lee in the middle.

"So it was your plan all along."

Lin Lee asked, looking at the human emperor floating above calmly, then his eyelid moved, and he observed the four figures around him, similar to golden generals, and all of them wore different-shaped armors.

The golden general wearing heavy armor oriented toward the strong and hot-burning sun, the dark general wearing stealthy armor, the silver general wearing colorful silver armor releasing energy fluctuation, and finally the bright general wearing light armor emitting soft healing and heavy chilling fluctuations.

Lin Lee observed them and then felt the frequency of the devices freezing him in the middle.

"You were quite alert from the beginning, but I didn't expect you would put the hongmeng rod near your soul so soon. It seems you don't have much experience in dealing with outsiders, just a kid who believes everything others say."

The human emperor commented, looking at him expressionlessly, different from his kind and smiley attitude from before.

After speaking, his gaze became more condensed, looking at Lin Lee, and he added,

"But I have to compliment your reaction; despite our sudden attack, you saved that girl from dark elf civilization. Anyway, after dealing with you, I will erase that lowly civilization. Now I want you to hand over the plug-in you got after reincarnation and let the rod enslave your soul."

Lin Lee raised his eyelid, glanced at him, and spoke, "You are the most cowardly person I have seen in all my lives."

Instantly the human emperor's face changed a little, and he asked hesitatingly, "What do you mean by all lives? Isn't it your first reincarnation?"

Lin Lee smiled playfully and replied, "Guess what, you are in huge trouble."

After speaking instantly, the size of Lin Lee started enlarging, and then in the next few moments, a giant appeared in front of the human emperor and four generals.

Their faces changed looking at the runes flickering above Lin Lee's body, and their devices frequency had no effect on him.

Lin Lee then glanced in the direction of the human emperor and let the golden star in his soul subdue the hongmeng rod in his soul space.

The human emperor spurted out blood, and his pupil brightness dimmed a lot, and he roared angrily, looking at Lin Lee.

"Bastard, give me back my artifact. Why do you have such power? Who are you?"

Lin Lee ignored him and then glanced at the four generals surrounding him; it was their turn. They were frozen in place by his spiritual runes, and all of their faces were filled with horror-filled expressions.

"They are your mechanical puppets. It seems you can get the items from parallel universes, but you can't travel to them. Very well, I will upgrade this rod to the limit and fish items from Chaos Expense. Thank you for giving me such an amazing artifact."

Lin Lee then turned and glanced at him with a playful expression on his face, then he stomped on the ground with his giant feet, and runes flashed on his physique.

Instantly a huge runic formation covered the whole land and suppressed everything.

"No, spare my life; we are fellow travelers,"

The human emperor roared, feeling a crisis of death, and he couldn't move an inch, looking at the giant figure of Lin Lee with a begging expression.

'Why is there such a gap? He is just a ten-star like me. Also, what's with these runes? There is no such thing in this universe.

The human emperor thought in horror; the next moment, his figure fell on the ground along with the generals, and everything inside this special realm was compressed.

The land, the atmosphere, and the sky are all things compressed into a single point.

Leaving behind Lin Lee's giant figure floating in the middle of this blank realm and a dot condensed in front of him,

'Gravity really compresses even the time and space,'

Lin Lee thought to himself expressionlessly and then pointed at the dot in front of him, activated the annihilation rune, and instantly the compressed dot burst dissipated.

"Sigh! Next, after dealing with UH civilization, I will leave this place; it's a really boring and non-challenging adventure."

A sigh sounded, and then he disappeared from the empty void.
