Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Entering the Police Station Again II

Since this man was determined to kill, Jiang Hai wouldn't hold back. Dodging the stab, he seized the man's wrist, twisted his arm, and forced the blade into his attacker's own body. The man's eyes widened in shock as he fell to his knees, trembling but silent. Jiang Hai, surprised by his lack of fear, calmly shook the blood from his hands.

Despite being his first life-threatening fight, Jiang Hai didn't feel disturbed by the act of killing. This newfound indifference made him frown, uneasy about what it meant for his future. Becoming a killer wasn't what he envisioned for himself.

Nonetheless, Jiang Hai remained focused. He wiped his hands on a nearby wall and turned to face the last man standing, who still held a weapon. As dusk fell, the dim light didn't hinder Jiang Hai's vision. The man, seeing his twelve companions defeated, trembled with fear, sweat pouring down his face.

"You're the only one left. Why don't you come at me?" Jiang Hai asked calmly, his tone casual.

The man, terrified, glanced around desperately. If he had a chance to escape, he'd have taken it. But the exits were blocked. Realizing he couldn't avoid a beating, he hesitated.

Suddenly, the sound of sirens pierced the air. Two police cars, led by an F650, pulled up near the alley. Six officers, including Cindy Clive, quickly got out and ran toward the scene.

Upon seeing the police, the last man threw his knife aside and crouched with his hands over his head, adopting a submissive posture. Jiang Hai raised an eyebrow, amused by the man's eagerness to surrender.

"Everyone inside, put your hands on your head and squat down!" one of the officers ordered.

"Are you kidding me? I'm the victim here," Jiang Hai retorted, irritated.

"Hands on your head! Now!" the officer barked, guns trained on Jiang Hai. Although annoyed, Jiang Hai complied, knowing it wasn't the time to test his limits.

As three officers approached, one checked the injured men while another kept a gun trained on Jiang Hai. The third ensured the remaining suspect posed no threat. Meanwhile, Cindy Clive calmly explained the situation, confirming Jiang Hai's status as the victim. After some clarification, the officer lowered his weapon and helped Jiang Hai up.

"Sir, we apologize, but we need you to come to the station to give a statement," the officer said firmly.
