My Magical System

The Killer Queen Bee ascended into the sky like a huge floating jet-black castle.

"I-It's so scary, but I'm not worried because you're with me, Milord!" Sky said, trying to hide her shaking voice.

Eman didn't seem to have paid attention to her. His attention was on the Killer Queen Bee, gazing at it with his mouth wide open.

Its gargantuan size alone made it already very terrifying. Compared to it, Sphin looked like a monggo seed beside a fist-size potato.

BZZZ!

BOOM!

With loud buzzings and thunder, it was as though a festival parade was happening in heaven at that moment.

After reaching the height below the clouds, the Killer Queen Bee let out a deafening screech.

KAAAH~~!

An invisible force seemed to hit them at that moment and Little Sky was startled by it. "Kyah!" She shrieked.

For Eman, it felt like they were hit by a shockwave. They were almost thrown away, but thanks to his fast reflexes, he was able to create a wind barrier right on time.

The wind barrier he created popped the moment the pseudo shockwave invisible force hit it, but Eman wasn't bothered by it because it already served its purpose.

He wasn't proficient enough in using wind magic yet, so his wind barrier wasn't strong enough. But seeing that none of them received damage, he was very satisfied with the result.

Blue was clinging tightly on Little Sky while she was tightly clenching on Eman's clothes.

"Be careful, it's attacking."

"Eh?"

From Sphin's warning, Little Sky opened her eyes and saw a red and dark torrent descend towards them at an unimaginable speed.

"What is that?"

"Danger! Danger!"

Blue exclaimed.

The torrent of red and dark energy passed by beside them. Thankfully, Sphin could perform aerodynamic movements in mid-air. If not, they would have been hit by it.

"That's a close call," Eman muttered in disbelief.

Since becoming stronger, this was the first time he felt his life was in danger.

"Amazing, Sphin!" Little Sky complimented.

The torrent of energy reached the forest and caused destruction.

BOOM!

They glanced below and saw a long line of craters in the forest looking like a canyon had been formed. That beam-like attack caused it. The attack didn't cause any fire but just a pure destructive force that obliterated anything it reached.

Eman wondered what they would become if that hit them. They would probably reduce to nothing in an instant.

They quickly flew away, however, the Killer Queen Bee chased them.

That means they were its target!

"Milord, it's chasing us!"

"Yeah, so hold tight."

"Okay! Blue, you too. Be careful not to fall down!"

"Master, Blue is scared! Blue is scared!"

"Don't worry. Milord is here."

"But that thing is scary!"

"I know. But trust me. I mean trust my lord!"

Eman had no time to listen to these two. He was pondering what to do with the Killer Queen Bee.

For some reason, it continuously fired torrents of dark and red energy, one after another. Sphin managed to dodge them. But if this continued, he worried that one of those torrents might be able to hit them.

First thing first, he needed to lure it. Luring it away from the town as far as possible must come first. But this would also mean, as bait, he was putting their lives in danger.

Eman summoned ten sharp earth javelins. They emerged, floating in the air around them. With a wave of his hand, they flew directly towards the Killer Queen Bee.

However, those earth javelins turned to nothing after the torrent of red and dark energy hit them.

Once again, he summoned ten javelins and shot the Killer Queen Bee.

Little Sky wondered why her lord summoned the same attack two times in a row, but since it was her lord she was talking to, she trusted his judgment without a question.

The same thing happened to the second batch. A torrent of dark and red energy reduced them to nothing.

"Oh no! They're gone again!" Sky exclaimed.

However, at that moment, something gleamed. When Little Sky looked at it, she saw one of the javelins continuously moving forward toward the gigantic enemy.

"It's one of the javelins! Go, Mister Javelin! You can do it!" She cheered while pumping her fist in the air.

Eman smiled wrily hearing her.

After the first ten javelins were reduced to nothing, he expected the same thing could happen in the second batch. So this time, he hid one of the javelins inside his Lord's Domain and summoned it back at the right time when the torrent of energy already disappeared. As a result, one of the javelins avoided the torrent of energy and hit the Killer Queen Bee.

However, the earth javelin couldn't even scratch its skin.

Perhaps his conjecture was right. Eman speculated that the Killer Queen Bee's skin might be thick and tough. There was also a possibility that only spirit attacks could damage it like those little ones.

Regardless, those javelins served their purpose and he successfully confirmed his thoughts.

Next, he summoned his Spirit Sword and discharged a spirit wave attack. Using the same trick he did with the earth javelin, the spirit wave was able to reach the target. However, the result was that the spirit wave disappeared like smoke right after reaching it.

That didn't mean his attack was not effective, but the target was too far from his location. The range of the spirit wave attack was not enough to sustain its physical form. That means distance played an important role as well. Unlike his earth javelins, his spirit attacks seemed to have a shorter range.

KAAAH!!!

The monster screeched once again. It seemed like his retaliation angered it more. After the screech, it fired more and more torrents of dark and red energies.

Explosions came one after another below them, causing more craters on the ground.

The people on the ground felt more terrified at that moment because every time an explosion happened, it was followed by an earthquake.

For them, it seemed like the world was about to end.

"What is this? What is this terrifying power?!" A terrified Rowan exclaimed.

The mansion shook as the earthquake continued. Since the Rothsport town was just a few miles away from where the torrent of dark and red energies landed, the townsmen there felt the devastating power more than the others.
