My Love Debts Are Everywhere!

Chapter 551: Meeting Elina Again

"Alright, what should I do now? Head straight to the Forest of Eternal Silence or relax for a bit first?" Leon muttered as he took a sip of his drink.

He glanced around at the bustling crowd. Most people were either shopping or enjoying time with their families.

It wasn't surprising, considering it was the weekend—a time meant for loved ones.

To be honest, seeing them made him want to take Charlotte, Iris, Fiona, and Stella out for some fun as well.

After all, Morvhal was a prosperous city with many interesting places to explore with his daughters.

But he knew it was impossible. The distance from here to the Demon Empire's capital was tens of thousands of kilometers, and the journey would take over a month.

With his limited time, it was nothing more than a pipe dream.

After thinking it over for a while, he decided to leave tomorrow morning.

He still wanted to enjoy a bit more leisure time in Morvhal anyway.

Besides, it was already late afternoon, and with the nearest town more than two hundred kilometers away, reaching it before nightfall would be almost impossible.

After finishing his drink, he tossed the empty glass into a trash bin and began his leisurely stroll around Morvhal.

As the center of all activity in the southern Holy Orthodoxy region, the city sprawled across an area of several tens of thousands of square kilometers.

It could easily be compared to other major cities like Astralyn, Eldoria, and the Demon Empire's capital, Erantum.

Leon continued wandering around, occasionally buying snacks from passing merchants.

Before he knew it, three hours had passed, and the sky had begun to darken.

The city lights, powered by magic stones, slowly flickered to life, illuminating all of Morvhal.

"Six o'clock already, huh?" Leon muttered as he glanced at the large clock standing proudly at the city's center, letting out a long sigh.

Time had flown by, yet there were still several places he hadn't visited.

Even so, he didn't feel disappointed. The time he spent today was enough to make him feel relaxed and content.

Afterward, Leon decided to look for a luxurious inn with a soft bed.

Being in the heart of the city, he was confident it wouldn't be difficult to find one.

However, after walking only about thirty meters, something caught his attention.

On the right side of the street, among the rows of merchant stalls, stood a striking tent.

It drew the curiosity of a few passersby, but none seemed willing to enter.

At the top of the tent hung a board that read, "Fortune Telling Stall."

For some reason, the sight of the tent stirred a strange sense of familiarity in Leon.

"Wait a minute..." His eyes widened slightly. "Isn't this tent similar to Elina's in Rothinia?"

Elina was the elven girl he and Athena had met by chance during a stopover in Rothinia.

Since Elina had the ability to tell fortunes, they had asked her to read theirs—though the results had been rather unsatisfactory.

That was why the sight of this tent immediately brought back memories of Elina.

Moreover, there were a few similarities—particularly the signboard at the top of the tent.

"I have to check," he whispered firmly. "If the owner of the tent is Elina, that would be very helpful."

His current goal was to reach the Elven race's territory.

Although he knew they lived somewhere within the Forest of Eternal Silence, he had no idea where exactly.

After all, the Forest of Eternal Silence was vast, and finding their territory would require both time and luck.

Not to mention, there were likely many barrier magic arrays used to conceal their existence from outsiders.

With that thought, Leon approached the tent and stepped inside. It was so low that he had to duck his head.

The moment he saw the interior, the corners of his lips curled up involuntarily.

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Sure enough, this tent belongs to Elina," he muttered, chuckling softly.

On the left side, a cabinet stood full of miniature world tree, cute animals, and adorable little elves.

On the right side, various paintings hung on the wall.

The paintings depicted the world tree and other things related to the Elven race.

What further convinced Leon that the tent truly belonged to Elina was the painting of a beautiful green-haired woman hanging beside the depiction of the world tree.

The woman, the Elven Queen, was so stunning that Leon found it impossible to forget her face.

"Oh? It's rare for a customer to come at this hour. Would you like a fortune telling, young man?"

A deliberately mysterious voice greeted him from the front.

Leon shifted his gaze and saw Elina, wearing a black cloak that concealed most of her body, sitting in a chair with a smile blossoming on her lips.

The corner of Leon's mouth twitched at Elina's words.

Despite being over a hundred years old, she was still, by human standards, a child.

Yet, here she was, calling him "young man" and trying to act all wise and elderly—something that almost made him laugh.

"Ahem!" Leon cleared his throat and slowly approached. "I didn't come for a fortune telling. I came to see you."

"To see me?" Elina blinked, momentarily surprised, before her expression shifted to panic. "W-What do you mean by that?"

Sensing the nervous tremor in her voice, Leon grinned, eager to tease her.

"Hehehe... I hear you're quite the beautiful fortune teller," Leon said playfully, licking his lips. "So, of course, I came to... eat you."

Elina's adorable face, hidden beneath her hood, turned pale.

"No! Don't do that! I'm still a minor!" Elina waved her hands frantically.

"Pufft!" Leon couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.

Tears welled up in the corners of his eyes as he found Elina's cute and adorable response utterly amusing.

"You... You..." Elina pointed at him with trembling hands. "What are you laughing at? Are you really going to eat me? If so, don't blame me if I attack you! I-I have the magic to turn you into a frog!"

"A frog? That's hilarious!" Leon burst into laughter, clutching his stomach.

He hadn't expected Elina's panicked reaction to be so entertaining.

After a while, his laughter died down, and he took a long, calming breath.

"Alright, enough with the joke," Leon said, his expression relaxing. "You don't have to worry, Elina. I'm Leon, the man you met in Rothinia. Remember?"

At the sound of his name, Elina's terrified expression froze.

"Leon?" She frowned, trying to recall.

Suddenly, a handsome man with a gentle smile appeared in her memory.

Her eyes widened as she stared at Leon in disbelief.

"You... Is it really you!?"

Leon gave a small nod and smiled warmly. "Yes, it's me. We meet again, Elina."
