My Hero Determination

Chapter 2: The family Dreemurr

A happy little family of four heads out to their family picnic

The two parents looked like goats, as did the son walking next to them, however, the girl walking next to them looked like an ordinary person.

The father's name was Asgore, who in contrast to his rough appearance wore a flowered shirt and hummed a song as he walked carrying things for the picnic.

The mother's name was Toriel and she gave off a maternal aura. She was wearing a bluish-purple dress and was walking happily as she watched her two children walk.

The goat boy was wearing a blue sweater and matching pants, as he ran happily his multicolored scarf fluttered in the wind, called sister

"Chara, come on, run."

The girl, with brown hair and somewhat disturbing crimson eyes, was wearing a white shirt and a green sweatshirt.

"I'm coming Asriel" said a somewhat tired Chara.

The four formed a happy family who, like every week, lived together.

Their favorite place to have a picnic was a clearing where there were many yellow flowers that Asriel loved.̶

However, that day was destined to be different from their picnic.

A girl was found unconscious in the middle of a field of flowers

"Oh my god, is this girl okay?" Toriel exclaimed in alarm.

"Yep, looks like she's alive" Chara said after kicking her and hearing her moan.

"Don't do that," Toriel scolded.

"Yes, Mom, since we saw that he is okay, can we go?" said Chara.

"I don't see his parents here, we should ask him where they are" Asgore mentioned.

Asriel, somewhat fearful, approached and woke her up.

"Hey girl are you okay?" He told her, shaking her gently.

"Oh my head" said the girl

"E-excuse me, w-w-what's your name?" Asriel said.

"My name? It's... Frisk... I think"

"Puff, I don't even know his name," Chara exclaimed contemptuously.

"Where are your parents?" Asgore asked.

"I...I don't remember" she said confused.

"Where are you from?" Toriel asked.

"I don't know either..." Frisk replied confused.

"I think it would be a smart thing to take her to the police" said Asgore.

"And our picnic," Chara exclaimed, "we only have it once a week, that girl can go find the police herself!"

"Come on Chara, don't be like that" said Asriel "A hero helps those in need" he said making a pose

"Yes, of course, that's what they do," said Chara, clearly sarcastic.

"Come on," Toriel said.

They accompanied the girl to the police station to help her find her parents

Frisk, still amnesiac, stayed at the police station so they could find out who she was

And the Dreemurr family went straight to her house.

"Today was a hectic day," Chara said before plopping down on the couch and taking out a chocolate bar to regain her strength.

"Come on, we did a good deed today, and you didn't even walk much."

Asriel Dreemurr harbors a dream common to many boys his age

He'll soon be a professional Hero!

He studied and trained hard to be able to enter and take the entrance exam to UA

Chara clearly didn't share the same dream and didn't even feel like interacting with the hero society

But he loved his brother more than he hated "heroes", so all he had to do was support him by biting his tongue.

"Haaa at least the day will be calm today and I can enjoy my chocolate in peace"

I didn't know that reality doesn't grant you what you want
