My Girlfriend Is So Beautiful, But She's an Assassin!

Chapter 57: Anindya's Suspicions About What's In The Garden Shed

Meanwhile, in the principal's office, it was 13:00. It was the same time Sekar had sent her account number to the school.

"Haa~... Sagara's an idiot, how could he just shoot someone at school, right Lavendina?" Lia asked, sitting on the sofa and holding the school's dedicated phone.

Lavendina didn't answer immediately, because she was pouring hot water into a glass to brew the jasmine tea she'd bought after dropping Julian off. After pouring the hot water, she walked over to the sofa in front of Lia—stirring her tea, as she did so. She sat down and replied.

"Well, it can't be helped. Maybe he's upset because Lady Anindya already has a boyfriend" Lavendina replied softly, holding a cup of tea gracefully.

"Hah?! That doesn't make sense. He should be supporting Lady Anindya, not hurting her boyfriend" Lia said with a surprised expression.

"By the way, didn't you make me tea?" Lia continued.

Lavendina took a sip of her tea. After drinking, she said,

"Maa~, maybe he doesn't like Lady Anindya having a couple like Julian," Lavendina said softly.

"As for the tea, you can make it yourself, because I'm still a little upset with you because of the photo you took earlier~!" Lavendina continued, smiling softly, but her tone sounded angry.

Lia's expression immediately stiffened and she leaned back on the sofa.

"Haa... he's always so overprotective. Even though Lady Anindya is an adult," Lia said, her expression and tone still irritated.

Lavendina didn't respond to Lia's words, because what Lia said was the truth. Lavendina put down her teacup and said,

"Lia, have the police contacted you?" Lavendina asked.

Lia put her phone on the table.

"Yes, that's right... they said when they interrogated the leader, the leader replied that he didn't know his big boss's name either. He only accepted the mission from the Deep Web and chatted with his boss" Lia replied.

"They went on the mission because they were given a deposit in advance... for the nickname of the big boss's account—it looks like he's using a fake account" Lia continued.

"Hmm... so that's it. Can Tia track him?" Lavendina asked.

"It should be possible, but we don't know yet... The point is, I'm going to the police station—I want to interrogate him in person—there are so many things I want to ask him" Lia replied, touching her forehead with her right hand.

"Okay, so it's just Sagara and I who will be guarding Lady Anindya at school, huh?" Lavendina asked softly.

"Yes, I'll leave the guarding to you two" Lia replied.

"Alright... By the way, Lia... whose money are we using for compensation? Boss and Madam are on business in Antarctica" Lia asked softly.

The atmosphere suddenly became silent. Lia slowly stood up from the sofa and said

"Yosh~, I have to go to the police station first, so you—" Lia said, not finishing her sentence.

"WHOOSSHH!!!" Lavendina's voice rang out, quickly running from where she was sitting and heading for the door to leave the room.

The atmosphere immediately became silent. Lia was stunned to be left alone. Her dazed expression soon turned into anger.

"ARGHH!!! LAVENDINA YOU FU**ING BI*CH!!!!" Lia screamed, her voice filled with annoyance.

Luckily, the principal's office was soundproof, so no one could hear her outside.

"Sorry, Lia... just think of it as your punishment, hihihi" Lavendina said, running away and chuckling.

After shouting, Lia checked her Mobile Bank balance.

"Damn it!, I only have Rp 20,000,000 left. I should have used this money to buy skincare and snacks..." Lia muttered with a sad expression and tone.

Lia sighed, then walked to the table to make tea.

"Fine, I'll just transfer it!—I hope boss will reimburse me..." Lia said as she heated some water.

Anindya's side, 13:00.

The bell for class had already rung. Desy, who hadn't heard it—but instead looked at the time on her phone—took off her earphones.

"So it's true, the bell has rung" Desy said, looking toward the school building.

Desy sat up on her heels, stretching her arms. Then she looked at Anindya—who still had an angry expression and an intimidating aura surrounding her. Desy watched Anindya typing furiously.

"U-uwahh... how should I approach her?" Desy muttered with an awkward expression and tone.

Anindya continued to type a message. Desy swallowed hard and tried to call out to Anindya.

"A-Anindya..." Desy called softly.

Anindya didn't stop and didn't look at Desy.

"I-Is my voice too low?" Desy asked.

Desy heard people talking, and she looked down the street—it turned out all the students who were relaxing in the school garden were starting to walk toward the school building—to return to their respective classes. Desy, staring at them, began to strengthen her resolve—she looked back at Anindya, then walked on her knees. When she was close to Anindya, she immediately touched her left shoulder.

Anindya, feeling Desy's touch, immediately turned to look at her. Desy flinched slightly—seeing Anindya's sharp gaze and angry expression—make Desy was terrified by this. But if she didn't muster up the courage—she would make Anindya late for class.

Desy took a breath, then changed her expression to a firm one.

"As her best friend, I have to be brave..." Desy said to herself with a firm expression.

"A-Anindya, the bell has rung... So let's go to class" Desy said with an awkward smile.

Anindya remained silent, not answering. She looked toward the building and listened to the still-ringing bell.

"You're right!" Anindya said in a deep voice.

Anindya controlled her emotions—by controlling her breathing. Then she got up and started stuffing her phone into her skirt pocket.

As they were packing up their belongings, from inside the dark garden shed, someone was watching Anindya through a small circular vent attached above the door handle—which served as an air vent. The vent was made of metal.

The stranger watched Anindya from behind a theater curtain inside the shed—this was to block out the glare from outside, preventing it from hitting his clothes. The stranger watched Anindya's every move.

After they had finished packing, Anindya stood up. As soon as she was upright, she quickly turned her head 90° to face the shed. The stranger inside the shed gasped. Her gaze was like that of a predator on a nighttime hunt.

"D-did she notice me?!" the stranger said to himself in a terrified tone.

Anindya continued to stare intently at the shed, releasing her murderous aura once again. The stranger inside was terrified by Anindya's gaze, cold sweat broke out on his forehead, and his heart raced.

Anindya turned around and slowly walked toward the shed. Unfortunately, Desy stopped her.

"ANINDYA!" Desy shouted, who had finished folding the carpet.

Anindya stopped walking and turned to look at Desy.

"What are you doing?" Desy asked.

Anindya immediately changed her expression to a gentle smile.

"I'm just curious about what's inside the garden shed" Anindya replied with a smile.

"Never mind, let's not think about such useless things. Let's go back to class!" Desy said.

"Okay~" Anindya replied.

Anindya started walking toward Desy.

"Phew~" the stranger inside the shed breathed a sigh of relief.

But the stranger became suspicious—not hearing Anindya's footsteps, he lifted his head and—

"!!!!"

There was an eye peering out from behind the small circular vent—its gaze seemed to be staring straight ahead.
