My Forever Is You

Abby and Anna soon arrived at home after a hectic day at school especially for Abby, due to the humiliation in which she was faced with in school. But at the same time, she was happy, she had made a genuine friend, something she never thought was possible.

" Mother, we're home!" Anna announced as she dropped her bag on one of the couches and headed over to the kitchen where she believed her mother should be.

And just like she had speculated, her mother was in the kitchen, preparing the meal for their dinner tonight.

" How was school today honey?" Mrs Lim said as she gave Anna a kiss on her forehead.

" School was great mother, though, I wouldn't say the same for your eldest daughter," Anna said with a mocking grin as a light chuckle escaped her lips.

" What did that stupid case of a daughter do again this time?!" Mrs Lim realized that something big must have happened if even Anna wasn't able to hold herself from chuckling out loud.

As Anna opened her mouth to tell her mother, the call crystal began vibrate and emit a bright light.

" Wait, let me go answer the phone first, you'll tell me what happened later," Mrs Lim then walked up to the table in which the call crystal was situated.

Picking it up, she placed it on the surface of her right ear," hello, this is Lim house, whose calling?"

" Margret, it's me your husband,"Mr Lim's voice sounded from the other side of the call crystal.

" My love is that you, is that really you?" Suprise was written all over Mrs Lim's face.

" Yes, it's me my love," he confirmed with a stable voice.

" Are you alright, why aren't you back yet, where are you?" She began to ask multiple questions as the worry of a wife kicked in.

" I'm at the palace Margret, but that isn't why I have called. The king has locked me up in a cell, and now I am being held prisoner,"

" What?!" Shock rushed through the body of Mrs Lim as she felt the sudden urge to faint.

" My love please don't worry, even though i'm locked up they are treating me very well, other than my freedom, i'm fine. Also, please, if the kids are with you, move away from them," Mr Lim said with an assuring tone that made Mrs Lim heave a sigh of relief.

Everything Mr Lim had just said was...a lie! They were treating him very badly along with the disgusting food that he was served. He was totally not fine.

" My love, i'm now far away from the kids, now please tell me, why are you in the palace cell?" Mrs Lim asked with concern etched in hier voice.

" King Roman had imprisoned me when I arrived at the palace due to not having his money," He explained.

" What?! But why, can't he be a little bit more patient? If we knew he would be like this, we never would have borrowed the money from him, now we suffer for the dire mistake," she exclaimed as a drop of tear fell from her eyes.

She truly was heartbroken with the situation at hand, and worst of all the one who they borrowed the money for turned out to be useless and so they were at the losing end of the whole situation.

" I can't do anything from in here anymore, so please, I beg of you, try to raise a part of the money, maybe that will reignite some patient for us," Mr Lim siad solemnly.

" I don't think I will be able to get so much money on such a short time, even a part of it is really a lot," Mrs Lim said worriedly.

" Don't worry to much, just try your best," Mr Lim encouraged.

" B- but honey, what about the collateral idea, why don't we use that instead of letting them keep you in that horrific cell?" Mrs Lim suggested as her mind went to a seemingly normal oldest daughter of hers whom she hates so dearly. :)

" No, no, no. Do not out Abby into this yet. Even if I equally don't like her, I would still feel better if we do not use one if our children, even if it's a worthless one," Mr Lim said with solemnity in his voice.

" Mom! Where are you?!"

Anna's voice suddenly reverbrated around the house as she earnestly looked for her mother who had suddenly dissapeared from the kitchen.

" Alright my love, Anna has begun to look for me, I have to go, please, be safe," she said as she cut the connection between the call crystals.

As the call ended, Mr Lim gave the call crystal to the next prisoner as he was then escorted back by guard.

" Sigh! I hope I will be able to get out of here soon without the use of a collateral,"

....

" Mom, where have you been, I've been looking for you all over the house!" Anna exclaimed as she spotted her mother.

" Sorry to make you worried dear, I was on a private phone call," she said as she assured her daughter.

" Was it dad?" Anna asked. Her mother doesn't really have a lot of people that she needs to go hide away to talk to. The only person that she would do such a thing for is usually her dad's whenever they have something to discuss urgently.

" It wasn't your father Anna, it was a client of mine, i'm starting a new business project and I didn't want even a word to leak out. As you know the saying; even the walls have ears.

" Oh, okay then. Now about what I wanted to tell you before about Abby.." Anna then began to explain the whole situation of what happened in school, and how people have even used recorders to capture the moment and sent it on the badge platform.

After hearing everything, anger began to fume in Mrs Lim's heart as her face turned red.

" Abbyyy!"
