To the boys in the family, Second Baby and Third Baby were little princesses. This was especially true for Third Baby; everyone at home protected and cared for her, to say nothing of when they were out.

Second Baby and Third Baby thought both boys had made good points. After some consideration, they decided on the black and red coats, skipping the khaki.

"Let me see the scarf," Second Baby said.

The scarf was beautiful and stylish. And so, they asked the clerk to wrap up all four items.

Second Baby shook her head. "We were only interested in this style."

When it was time to pay, Big Baby stood up. "I'll pay."

"I'll get it! I'll get it!" Fourth Baby insisted.

"Let me," Big Baby repeated. "I'm the eldest."

Second Baby didn't see the point. "What difference does it make who pays? Tell you what, whoever earns the most can pay."

"I make over a million a year, I guess," said Fourth Baby.

Second Baby said nonchalantly, "I make over two million a year."

Third Baby smiled demurely. "Sorry, I worked a bit harder this year and earned over three million."

Big Baby, who had no income, was left speechless.

"Everyone step aside," Third Baby said with a smile. "This is my treat."

The sales staff were completely stunned. Were they joking? How could kids these days earn so much money?
