My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

After lunch, the three babies all slept soundly.

When they woke up from their nap, Lin Feng took the First Child and Fourth Child to their taekwondo class, then accompanied the Second Child to her crafts class. The theme for this session was soft gold wire, which looked quite pretty. The teacher asked the children to make a peacock with it.

The teacher's finished product was exceptionally beautiful; looking at it made you want to keep it as a collector's item. After all, you don't get to be a teacher without having some real skill.

After a semester of learning, the difficulty of the children's craft projects increased daily. These little ones had already learned to use many different tools. Each child followed the routine of presenting their work, and as expected, the Second Child's piece was the most beautiful. Her skill was nearly on par with the teacher's, yet she was only four years old. The teacher was a specialist, so the comparison only served to highlight the Second Child's remarkable talent.

Every time, she managed to add her own unique ideas to her creations. This time, she didn't just make a peacock; she also crafted a gracefully dancing butterfly beside it. The peacock and the butterfly complemented each other perfectly.

After class, the teacher asked Lin Feng and his daughter to stay behind.

"Here's the situation," she began. "Our city is holding a crafts competition, and I've already signed the Second Child up to participate. I believe that with her talent, she will definitely shine."

If she won, it would be good publicity for the educational institution and beneficial for her as well.

The teacher added, "Because time is short, I'm afraid the Second Child and I won't be able to attend the regular classes for the next few days. We need to have individual lessons."

Lin Feng had no objections.

For the following days, another teacher took over the regular classes. The Second Child began preparing her competition piece, inspired by that day's soft gold wire project. It had been her best performance yet, with skills that could even surpass her teacher's.

In the blink of an eye, a week passed, and the teacher submitted the finished piece. Lin Feng didn't ask what his daughter had made, simply continuing to take care of the children as usual. The final results of the competition would be announced in early February, meaning they had a wait of almost a month.

On January 20th, the First Child and Fourth Child had their taekwondo exam. It was a standardized test held by several institutions, and Lin Feng drove them to the examination venue, which was a gymnasium. By the time they arrived, many children were already waiting in their doboks. The weather had turned cooler, but none of them seemed to feel the cold.

Each examination level was assigned a different area, and parents could watch from the tiered seating. Lin Feng had excellent hearing and sharp eyesight, so he could see the competitions on the floor very clearly. The Second Child sat quietly in his arms, watching the others compete.

When it was the First Child's turn, the little girl immediately grew excited. "Go, big brother! Go!"

Lin Feng also cheered along, "Go for it, First Child! Go for it!"

The First Child won without any trouble. Soon after, it was the Fourth Child's turn, and he also won with ease.

After the exams, the coach officially informed them that the current stage of instruction had concluded. Students could continue attending classes if they had time, or they could wait until the new school term began.

When they got home, Lin Feng announced, "The day after tomorrow, we're going back to Modu."

The children cheered with delight. "Yay! We get to see Mom the day after tomorrow! Awesome!"

Lin Feng had it all planned out. However, while they were eating dinner, a message popped up in the class group chat from their teacher, Mr. Li. On January 23rd, the school would be holding an activity day. Interested children were welcome to participate.

A parent asked, "Mr. Li, what kind of games will there be?"

Mr. Li replied, "This time, the event won't be outdoors. The weather has gotten quite cold, so it isn't very convenient. Instead, we've set it up indoors. The children will complete tasks to earn corresponding rewards, like food and toys. It will be a lot of fun."

"This event is only for the middle class. The older and younger classes will have their own separate activities suitable for them."

"Interested parents can bring their children to participate."

"The registration deadline is noon tomorrow. I hope you'll all be eager to join!"

An idea sparked in Lin Feng's mind, and he called Zhang Yuxi. The couple unanimously decided to ask the Third Child if he wanted to participate. Every one of these activities seemed to help him become a little more outgoing. The Third Child was eager to join and would fly back on the morning of the 22nd.

Lin Feng registered the quadruplets for the event, which required parental participation as well.

Some of the mothers in the group chat started complaining.

"Oh my gosh, please don't make us cook again! We're really terrible at it!"

"Exactly! Playing with the kids is fine, but spare us the cooking."

"Last time my son almost went hungry, facepalm.jpg."

"Hahahaha, I'm doing better! My cooking skills improved a lot after that last incident!"

"Me too! And ever since then, my son has stopped being a picky eater! He figures he's already tasted the worst food possible!"

The group chat instantly filled with laughter.

Before bed, Lin Feng told the children about the event. They were all so excited they wished the 23rd would come immediately. By noon on the 21st, the participant list was finalized. Liu Qing wasn't on it; she had already taken Tian Tian back to Modu. Perhaps the last event had scared off a number of parents, as only two-thirds of the families signed up this time. Participation was voluntary, so Mr. Li didn't try to persuade anyone else.

"Dear Parents: On the morning of the 23rd, we will depart from the school at 8:30 a.m. for the 'Yangcheng DS Sports Affiliated College'."

"If any students live close to the college, you don't need to gather at the school. You can wait for us outside the college instead."

"This will be a two-day activity, so please pack enough clothes, a water bottle, a sweat towel, and other necessities for your children."

"Everyone must wear sportswear and sneakers. This is important!"

The Third Child and Zhang Yuxi arrived in Yangcheng a little after ten o'clock. The children were overjoyed to be reunited, gathering around the Third Child as if it had been ages since they had last seen him.

At noon, Lin Feng began to pack their things.

"Honey, do you have any sportswear?"

"I don't think so. Remember that clothing donation drive? I gave my old set away."

Lin Feng thought for a moment. "I have a set of summer sportswear." He occasionally worked out and owned an exercise outfit, which was just a worn-out T-shirt and shorts. After all, you're meant to sweat, so there was no need for anything thick.

"The boys have a set too... but it feels like one set each won't be enough."

After doing the math...shoot, the whole family needs to buy new sportswear! And we have to buy it quickly to wash it before we leave!

They headed to the mall and entered a sporting goods store. The store happened to be promoting a parent-child line; children's brands were not only popular but also sold extremely well.

They bought two sets for everyone. They got the children's clothes a size larger, figuring they could wear them for a year or two. Kids grow so fast you have to buy clothes with their future height in mind. What fits this year will be too small by the next.

After shopping, Lin Feng quickly rinsed and dried the new clothes, then hung them on the balcony to air out for a while. Zhang Yuxi loved doing housework with him. She handed him the hangers while he hung the clothes, the two of them chatting and laughing together.

"Honey, An Lan and Liu Bo are coming over for dinner later," she said. "We don't need to buy groceries; they're bringing their own."

Lin Feng hummed in acknowledgment. "Honey, what would you like to eat tonight?"

Zhang Yuxi tilted her head. "I'm fine with anything. As long as my husband makes it, I'll love it!"

The Second Child, who was looking for something in her room, mimicked her mother, "Daddy, I love anything you make, too!"

With that, she took her toy and clattered downstairs. Not five seconds later, she returned.

"Dad, Mom!"

"Godmother, Liu Bo, and Guo Guo are here!"
