After returning home, Lin Feng was cooking in the kitchen while Zhang Yuxi made small booklets with the children.

"I have some hard cardboard cards in my study," Lin Feng said. "They'd be perfect for this."

Zhang Yuxi went upstairs and brought down a stack. They were A4-sized, and she cut each one into four pieces before binding them into booklets. Lin Feng had bought a hole punch, which was very convenient.

Zhang Yuxi and the children washed the leaves and set them out to dry. They could start working on them after dinner.

After dinner, Zhang Yuxi washed the dishes while Lin Feng helped the children with their crafts.

She really wasn't good at this; Lin Feng was the handy one. It figured, since he had the Handicraft Skill.

Lin Feng distributed the leaves. "Alright, now we need to stick them on with double-sided tape, like this... come, let Daddy show you!"

The Third Baby accidentally got tape on her hands and was startled.

On the third day, Mr. Luo arrived with the design plans.

The beds for the First and Fourth Babies were separate. The two sides of the room had different themes: one was Ultraman, and the other was Transformers. In addition, each boy had his own wardrobe and a desk with an attached bookshelf. Their beds were bunk beds, so people could sleep on either the top or bottom bunk. They would also be sufficient for guests in the future.

The walls were adorned with decals that could be peeled off and replaced without damaging the wallpaper. In the middle of the room was a large tent where the two boys could play together.

The Second Baby's princess room was simply beautiful. It was all pink and fluffy, just like a real little princess's room. In addition to the standard bunk bed, wardrobe, and desk, a dainty hanging swing chair was also added. There was also a small, round table with little chairs for the little princess's afternoon tea parties.

The Second Baby was absolutely overjoyed.

Because the Third Baby loved music, her room had a musical theme with a light blue color scheme. The standard furnishings were the same, but since she had the room to herself, another area was set up with a drum kit, a small guitar, and other instruments. There was even a small karaoke machine!

Since the Third Baby hadn't made any special requests, Mr. Luo wasn't sure how to design the room.

Lin Feng said quietly, "Third Baby, if you have any ideas or requests, you can tell Uncle Luo."

The Third Baby shook her head, but it was clear she wasn't entirely satisfied.

Mr. Luo took out an iPad and showed her examples of other children's rooms. She didn't have any particular preferences, but when she saw the last image, her eyes lit up. It turned out the theme of the picture was an underwater world. The entire room was covered with wallpaper depicting an underwater scene, and the Third Baby found it fascinating and wanted a room just like it.

Once the designs were finalized, the next step was construction. However, after some thought, Lin Feng decided to wait until the holiday was over to start the work. That way, the noise wouldn't disturb the children.

That evening, the Second Baby called her friend Tian Tian.

Tian Tian sounded a bit unhappy. "Tomorrow is my birthday, and Daddy said he would come home to celebrate with me..." Her expression was truly pitiable.

The Second Baby knew just what to say to cheer people up. "How about we celebrate your birthday with you?"

Tian Tian thought for a moment and nodded.

"Then we'll go prepare a little gift for you!"

Upon hearing there would be a gift, Tian Tian immediately brightened up and said sweetly, "Thank you!"

Unlike their friendship with Jiang Chenchen, the quadruplets got along better with Tian Tian since she was a girl. Their bond as three girls grew even stronger, especially when they played at being sisters.

The Second Baby came pattering over to Lin Feng and said, "Daddy, I want to prepare a birthday gift for Tian Tian!"

Seeing the sparkle in his daughter's eyes, Lin Feng asked, "When is Tian Tian's birthday?"

"Tomorrow!" After a pause, the Second Baby asked again, "Daddy, what do you think I should get her?"

Lin Feng thought for a moment. "Since it's a birthday gift, it should definitely be something she likes. You're Tian Tian's good friend. Do you know what she likes?"

The Second Baby thought about it. "I'll give her a Barbie doll!"

The Third Baby, having just finished her video call with Tian Tian, came pattering over. "Daddy, I'm going to celebrate Tian Tian's birthday too," she announced.

Lin Feng had no objections. "Okay! Since you're going to a birthday party, you'll have to prepare a gift!"

The Second Baby and the Third Baby glanced at each other. Hand in hand, they pattered upstairs.

Lin Feng called after them, "Be careful, don't fall!"

As for the boys, Lin Feng told them the news. Their idea was simple: give a birthday cake.

Lin Feng said with a smile, "You guys can decide for yourselves, but everyone has to give a gift!"

Upstairs, Zhang Yuxi had no idea what was happening. She came down and asked, "What's going on? The little ones are all in such a hurry."

Lin Feng explained the situation, and Zhang Yuxi said, "Oh, no wonder they're all rummaging around for things."

"So, when are we going fishing tomorrow?"

Lin Feng thought for a moment. "I don't know."

Zhang Yuxi had a flash of inspiration. "How about this? Let's call Liu Qing and Tian Tian first. If they don't have any special plans for tomorrow, we can invite them along."

"Sure," Lin Feng said. "You make the call."

Liu Qing's voice was a bit nasal, as if she had been crying.

Zhang Yuxi pretended not to notice. "Tomorrow is Tian Tian's birthday. Do you two have any plans?"

"No. Her dad had planned to take her to the amusement park, but he can't make it back this time, so the trip was canceled."

"I was thinking of just taking her to the amusement park myself, but then she told me that the Second Baby and Third Baby were going to give her gifts." At this, Liu Qing's voice finally brightened. "So I was thinking we'd just celebrate at home. You all should come over too!"

Zhang Yuxi said with a smile, "I have a great place in mind."

"Where?"

So, their task was to decorate the place. They needed to buy some balloons first, but it turned out they didn't have to, as they had some in storage at home. They had them because Liu Bo had brought some over for the children to play with. He'd said they could blow one up whenever they were bored.

Hmm... Liu Bo was going to be a father now, too. I wonder if he'll still have ideas like that in the future.
