My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

One day, Shen Tiantian stopped Si Bao and invited him over enthusiastically.

"Would you like to come over to our house?" she asked. "I have lots and lots of toys for you all to play with!"

It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed playing with Si Bao.

Upon hearing about toys, Si Bao immediately asked, "Do you have Ultraman?"

Shen Tiantian, being a girl, didn't have anything like that, so she shook her head.

"Then I'm not going," Si Bao said, shaking his head.

Er Bao came over and asked, "Do you have Barbie dolls?"

Shen Tiantian nodded. "Yes, I do. Do you want to come to my house to play?"

"Can I go?" Er Bao asked in return.

"Of course!" Shen Tiantian quickly nodded.

After all, she used to be showered with compliments and thought she was the prettiest girl around. Later, after starting school and seeing Er Bao and San Bao, who were even prettier than her, she had felt a bit jealous. But children have simple minds, so they were still able to get along well.

Shen Tiantian's mother came over, carrying a limited-edition LV bag. She was very enthusiastic toward Lin Feng, the father of the 'wealthy family' in the class.

Seriously, four kids at once? With tuition over 100,000 per semester, that's more than 200,000 a year. How could anyone afford this school without some serious money?

Shen Tiantian's mother smiled and said, "How about you come over to our house for the holidays? Tian Tian is always talking about your children!"

Lin Feng was pleased that his children were making good friends at school. He smiled and asked them, "Do you want to go to your classmate Tian Tian's house for a visit?"

Si Bao shook his head, declining the invitation. There's no Ultraman, and I don't want to play with Barbie dolls!

When Da Bao saw this, he figured if there was no Ultraman, there definitely wouldn't be any Transformers either. He also shook his head. "I'm not going either. There are no Transformers!"

Although Er Bao wanted to go, when he saw that Si Bao and Da Bao weren't going, he thought about it for a moment and declined as well. San Bao followed her older siblings' lead and also decided not to go.

Hearing this, Shen Tiantian was immediately saddened.

Her mother quickly said, "It's alright, how about Auntie buys them for you? Lots and lots of Ultraman and Transformers, okay?"

Si Bao's and Da Bao's eyes lit up.

Lin Feng said, "Mrs. Shen, there's no need. We have plenty of toys at home, I'll just..."

Shen Tiantian's mother interrupted him. "Toys don't cost much. Just consider it a little welcome gift for the children!" She gently stroked her daughter's hair. "So it's settled, then. You'll come over for lunch tomorrow!"

Shen Tiantian smiled happily again. Waving goodbye as she walked away with her mother, she called back, "Come play at our house tomorrow!"

Thinking of the promised toys, Da Bao and Si Bao replied with a very enthusiastic, "Okay!"

Zhang Yuxi asked, "Lin Feng, we're visiting their home tomorrow. What should we bring as a gift?"

Lin Feng thought for a moment. "Let's buy a Barbie doll for Shen Tiantian," he suggested. "And how about we get one for Er Bao and San Bao, too? We can also pick up some fruit and things like that."

Zhang Yuxi considered it. "Let's get Tiantian a few princess dresses instead."

Lin Feng nodded. "That works too."

「The next day」

After preparing the gifts, Lin Feng drove the children to Shen Tiantian's house. The family lived in a standalone villa and had hired a housekeeper. Shen Tiantian's mother was a full-time housewife whose main job was looking after her child.

The housekeeper opened the door, with Shen Tiantian right behind her, clutching a toy. Her eyes instantly sparkled.

"Si Bao, Er Bao, Da Bao, San Bao, you're all here!" she exclaimed. She happily took Si Bao's hand while calling out to Er Bao. "Come and look! Mommy bought new Ultraman and Transformers! And Barbie dolls!"

The living room was spacious, with one area dedicated to Shen Tiantian's toys. It was covered with a thick carpet, on which all kinds of toys were piled.

While Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi were changing their shoes in the entryway, Shen Tiantian's mother, dressed in casual home clothes and light makeup, came to greet them with a smile. "You're here! Please, come in and sit down!"

Lin Feng handed her the gifts they had brought for Shen Tiantian.

Mrs. Shen took them. "You really shouldn't have. Please, come inside. Lunch will be ready soon." She held up the gift bags. "Tian Tian, Uncle and Auntie brought you presents! Do you want to see?"

Shen Tiantian hurried over. "Yes, I want to see!"

Er Bao came over and said, "It's a Barbie doll! Dad bought one for me and my sister too, and it's so pretty!"

Shen Tiantian's mother often bought her daughter Barbie dolls, so she recognized the brand. It was expensive, but the craftsmanship was incomparable to other dolls. It was a clear case of getting what you pay for; the doll was truly beautiful. It was the latest model, one that could mimic various states like being sick, crying, or happy.

Shen Tiantian was overjoyed and gave the Barbie doll a barrage of kisses.

Next were four beautiful princess dresses in various stunning colors.

Er Bao spoke up again, "Dad bought some for my sister and me, too. He said all three of us should have them."

Shen Tiantian was so happy she wanted to change into one right away.

Her mother laughed. "Not yet. They have to be washed before you can wear them!"

Shen Tiantian pouted unhappily.

Her mother quickly added, "Now that you've received your gifts, go and say thank you to Uncle and Auntie."

Shen Tiantian walked up to Zhang Yuxi and Lin Feng and thanked them obediently.

"You're welcome!" Lin Feng said with a smile.

Er Bao took Shen Tiantian's hand. "Come on, let's play with the Barbie dolls."

Shen Tiantian's mother stood up. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. I'll go check on the kitchen."

The villa was luxuriously decorated, though it felt somewhat cold and impersonal.

Mrs. Shen soon emerged from the kitchen. "Lunch will be ready in ten minutes! I wasn't sure what you liked, so I had our housekeeper cook her specialties."

"We're happy to eat with the children," Lin Feng said. "We all prefer lighter flavors."

"Me too," Mrs. Shen said with a smile. "I always see you picking up the kids by yourself. Don't you have a housekeeper at home?"

Lin Feng shook his head. "No, my wife and I take care of the children ourselves."

Mrs. Shen covered her mouth in surprise. "That's incredible. It must be very hard, isn't it? We only have Tian Tian, and even with a housekeeper to help, I still find it a bit overwhelming."

Lin Feng gave a faint smile. "It's okay. We're used to it. Besides, the children are growing up. Now that they're in kindergarten, it's much easier than before."

The housekeeper announced from the kitchen that lunch was ready.

Mrs. Shen stood up. "Time to eat!" She then asked her daughter to tell the other children to wash their hands for the meal.

The lunch was sumptuous and nutritionally well-balanced. The children were set up to eat at the coffee table, chattering amongst themselves as they ate.

San Bao said, "Daddy says we're not supposed to talk while we're eating!"

Er Bao nodded. "We can play after we finish. Tian Tian, you should stop talking and eat quickly, too."

Si Bao was gobbling down his food. By this point, Da Bao had already finished a third of his meal.

Seeing this, Shen Tiantian's mother had an envious expression on her face. "No wonder your children are growing so well. They're such good eaters. My Tian Tian is always so picky. It seems I'll have to be stricter with her from now on!"
