My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

Chapter 308: The Wedding Will Take Place in the Summer!

In the blink of an eye, school was back in session, and Zhang Yuxi's busy days began once more. Lin Feng took the babies to their early education classes, and life seemed to fall back into its familiar rhythm. The one constant on the horizon was his and Zhang Yuxi's wedding, which would be held in the summer.

To prepare for it, he specifically sought out An Lan to do some indirect reconnaissance.

An Lan giggled. "Director Lin, is there a red envelope in this for me?"

Lin Feng smiled. "There is, but it depends on how well you do."

"Don't worry, leave it to me!"

Lin Feng knew Zhang Yuxi dreamed of her Prince Charming and a beautiful white wedding dress. With school back in session, he began planning everything in earnest. The babies would turn two on August 8th, and he decided to make that day their official wedding anniversary in every sense of the word.

Therefore, everything had to be arranged with meticulous urgency. He wanted to give Zhang Yuxi the ultimate surprise!

The date was set for August 8th, but what about the venue? And Zhang Yuxi's wedding dress, her jewelry, and all the other details? Every girl's wedding day is a moment she cherishes forever, and Lin Feng wanted to give Zhang Yuxi an unforgettable one.

He wasn't very knowledgeable about wedding dresses, so he could only search online. In the end, he settled on the brand PRO, a name synonymous with elegance, nobility, beauty, and luxury. It was a perfect fit for Zhang Yuxi's image and temperament. In today's world, as long as you had money, arranging things was easy. Lin Feng selected three different gowns, but they all required custom measurements. For that, he had to come up with a clever plan.

Lin Feng quickly devised a scheme. First, he gave Zhou Cuilan a heads-up, then waited for the right moment to unleash his acting skills.

That evening, as Zhang Yuxi emerged from the bathroom, she saw Lin Feng holding a soft measuring tape.

"Honey, what are you doing?"

"Mom wants to have a cheongsam made this year, and she asked me to send her your measurements," he said smoothly.

"Oh," Zhang Yuxi replied. "Then go ahead."

She had always taken Lin Feng at his word, with one notable exception.

Lin Feng gestured toward her. "How am I supposed to get accurate measurements when you're dressed like that?"

It dawned on her. "Oh, wait a moment, honey, I'll go and..."

Lin Feng grabbed her hand. "No need."

Zhang Yuxi's suspicion flared instantly. "Honey, are you tricking me?"

"No."

"I suspect you are."

Feigning helplessness, Lin Feng pulled out his phone. "Look, this is my chat history with Mom."

Half-believing, she took the phone and looked. The chat log showed a conversation from one o'clock that afternoon, and the content was exactly as Lin Feng had described.

Zhang Yuxi pursed her lips. "Well, honey... I just thought..."

Lin Feng cut her off flatly, "It doesn't matter what you think. It only matters what I think."

She hesitated for a long moment. "Honey..."

As she mounted her final resistance, Lin Feng said with a completely straight face, "Darling, you really shouldn't think of your husband that way..."

He sounded so serious that Zhang Yuxi actually began to question herself. It didn't take long, however, for her to remember that when it came to certain things, he was a complete and utter fraud.

The next day, Lin Feng sent the measurements via email.

Next on the list was jewelry. Money made things simple; he could commission a custom design, though the price would be exorbitant. Following An Lan's suggestion, Lin Feng opted for a ready-made set instead. The shoes were also easy to find, but Lin Feng still hadn't decided on a wedding venue.

Time flew, and the school term that started in March soon gave way to May. The long holiday arrived with a heatwave, so they didn't even return to Meicheng. Instead, the babies were busy learning to swim.

The nearly two-year-old babies already looked like they were three. They were all fair, chubby, and sturdy. Little Jiang Chenchen was starting swimming lessons, which gave Lin Feng an idea. He decided to sign up his four babies for the same training class. You could have told people they were the same age, and no one would have batted an eye. Even Jiang Chenchen's father was surprised and asked enviously, "Director Lin, what on earth are you feeding your babies? How did they all get so big and healthy?"

Lin Feng wondered if it was because of the nutritional supplements they'd had before. Besides carefully managing their diet and daily routines, he hadn't done anything special. Still, he had also noticed that his babies were indeed growing faster than other children.

"Nothing special, really. I just make sure their meals are nutritionally balanced." Seeing Jiang Chenchen's father hesitate, Lin Feng added, "I'll write down a meal plan for you later. It's all things the babies eat regularly."

Jiang Chenchen's father was overjoyed. "Thank you, Director Lin!"

After Pan Lei's promotion at the hotel, the responsibility of childcare had fallen to her husband. He had gone from being completely clueless to gradually finding his footing, and now, taking care of his son was no longer stressful. He planned to find a job once his son started elementary school in September—something that would allow him to look after the child while earning some money. In the past, he would have definitely had some reservations about this arrangement, but with Lin Feng as an example, he now felt it was perfectly normal for a man to take care of the children.

There was one thing, however, that made him feel quite insecure. His wife was becoming more radiant, beautiful, and confident every day, which made him a little anxious.

The swimming class was offered by a gym and accepted children over two years old. It cost 4,000 yuan for ten sessions, with a guarantee that the child would learn to swim. Jiang Chenchen had already attended one lesson and thought the teacher was excellent—both patient and gentle.

When Lin Feng took the babies to the class, it was two-thirty in the afternoon. The outdoor pool wasn't heated, but the weather was warm at that time of day, so all the classes for younger children were scheduled for the afternoon.

Lin Feng led the babies to the front desk, where a staff member immediately came to greet them. Upon learning that he was enrolling quadruplets, she offered a discount of two hundred yuan for each child, for a total discount of one thousand.

Lin Feng asked, "Is it guaranteed they'll learn?"

Noticing Lin Feng's distinguished air, the receptionist didn't dare to be anything but truthful. "When we say 'guaranteed,' we mean the babies will be able to swim on their own without aids like a back float. Reaching a highly proficient level is difficult to promise. For one, the babies are still very young, and second, it's only ten lessons."

She continued, "However, parents can rest assured. Even though it's just ten lessons, if a child hasn't learned by the end, our teachers will let them continue attending the class until they do."

After her thorough explanation, Lin Feng paid for their memberships and bought goggles, swimming caps, and swim trunks for the babies. Then they headed straight to their lesson.

By the outdoor pool, the two o'clock class was already in session. The students were practicing breathing and leg-kicking exercises—essentially, the simple frog stroke.

The eldest baby was afraid of water, though not so much when he was just playing. It was a strange contradiction. Sure enough, the moment he saw the enormous pool, he flatly refused to go in. Lin Feng didn't force him, letting him play on the side instead.

It was the coach's first time seeing quadruplets, and he was amazed by how adorable each one was. It was a real eye-opener. The coach was a man with a four-pack, not handsome in a conventional way, but very charismatic. He glanced at the eldest baby and asked Lin Feng, "What's the story with that little guy?"

After Lin Feng explained, the coach nodded with understanding. "We'll take it slow. There's no rush!"

The other babies were very cooperative with the coach; to them, he was a teacher. The children in this class were all between two and three years old, with five students currently enrolled. All the other parents were mothers, with the sole exception of Jiang Chenchen's father. They sat under large umbrellas, fanning themselves and wearing sunglasses, their eyes fixed on Lin Feng as they whispered about the incredibly handsome man.

When they learned he was the father of quadruplets, only one thought crossed their minds: Holy shit! That guy is ridiculously fertile. His wife must be incredible, too!

The babies were eager and cooperative, their eyes glued to the pool, desperate to jump in and start playing. The receptionist had explained to the coach that this first session was essentially a trial class, with formal lessons starting next time. So, after a brief period of mimicking the coach's movements, the babies put on their back floats and got into the water.

The fourth baby, ever fearless, went into the water with the coach. He giggled gleefully. "This is so fun!" he chirped, and immediately started splashing around on his own.
