Chapter 330: The Happy Ever After
(Arata)
(Four years later)
The summer season was over, and autumn had spread its beautiful colours before we could transition into winter.
We had a few weddings to attend. Stella and Zaylen were getting married and so were Roshra and Callum. I had been working on our dresses but had taken a short break to come outside and watch my kids.
Zaila and my twin sons played in our garden. They were born two years after Zaila in the same month she had. They had just turned two. Alnitak and Mintaka–named after two stars of Orion's belt.
They were redheads like me and very mischievous, so very different from their older sister. She was calm but moody but Alnitak and Mintaka were cheerful and always smiling.
I sat on my garden chair watching them play with their toys. Karsten came from behind me.
Before he could touch me, I felt his presence. That fresh scent he always carried, gave him away.
He placed his arms around my chest, sensually kissing the top of my head.
"Penny for your thoughts, my beautiful Phoenix."
His affection, his scent, and his touch seeped inside my heart and made me lean into him.
"Just thinking how lucky I am to have such a beautiful family, although they exhaust me." Life with twins was not easy but I adored my kids. I had just weaned them off and my breasts could finally breathe.
Although they weren't very keen on drinking milk from their sippy cups.
Karsten placed his chin on the top of my head and answered, "We love you, Arata. You are the bond that holds us together."
"Mama!" Mintaka rushed towards us holding a flower he had plucked from the grass. Half of it was crushed as he had yanked it from the grass.
Alnitak and Zaila followed behind with happy smiles and flushed cheeks.
"Hey! What did you bring buddy?" His tiny hands extended the flower towards me and I graciously accepted with a smile, placing it in my long hair. They had grown to my waist and I was never cutting them again.
"Falwr!" He said in broken words and I picked him up, nestling him in my lap.
"Thank you! Min. It's beautiful." He placed a small kiss on my cheek.
Alnitak and Zaila had climbed up in their father's arms and Zaila insisted, "Papa, ice-cream."
"Ikcem! Ikcem!" Alnitak clapped his hands, agreeing with his older sister.
Karsten carried them effortlessly. "First, I would need three kisses each," Karsten said with a broad smile, and they showered him with sloppy saliva-filled kisses.
I laughed while Mintaka clapped his hands cheering his siblings on.
"Such loving kisses. Okay, let's go get some ice cream," Karsten announced, winking at me.
I left my chair with Mintaka in my arms, and we headed towards the car, where Caysir already waited for us with his always-smiling face.
"Uncle Caysir!" Kids clapped seeing him and he made happy faces at them. Taking them one by one from us he kissed them.
"Ready for the ice cream?" He happily asked.
"Yahhhh!" They cheered, raising their small arms.
He carefully strapped them in our specially modified car so all of us could fit.
Once we were strapped in the car, we went to get ice cream with our children.
Life was good, life was great, and I couldn't wait to find out what more lay in the future for us.
Especially for my beautiful children.

(This marks the end of my fifth book on Webnovel and I feel accomplished at how it went and how many hearts my writing was able to touch. I was so unsure when I started this one. The concept was different so I wasn't sure how the readers would take it.
There were so many challenges surrounding this book. I had to shift between countries, leave my home country and settle abroad while I was writing this one. That was very challenging for me but I kept pushing.
This book was a promise to one of my favourite readers as she loved, "The CEO Of My Dreams Returned To Me". If you haven't read it, do check it out.
Unfortunately, she passed away before she could read it. The day I found out was so dark, and I cried the whole day—I couldn't even write. But I knew I had to complete it and today I fulfilled that promise. @AtanoAiko, I hope you have found peace. I miss you and will always love you, girl. This book is dedicated to her loving memory.
Please! Take care of your mental health as battling depression is no small task. If anyone ever suffers or needs a free space to talk, my DMs are always open.
I always mention my fellow authors who constantly helped and supported me throughout. @Hansora who helped me make my cover and adjusted the title. She always gives the best advice. I love you, girl.
@LotusLin @queenfrieza @esenel @zhying @slowestcook @air_ace @nispedana and @goldenlineage. Thank you guys for the overwhelming support always, especially on days when I knew I wouldn't be able to make it. (๑♡⌓♡๑)
And then all my lovely, beautiful readers. Just to name a few who kept sending gifts daily and left me comments to keep my morale up and show their support.
@riemc @Katirani @Michibeba @Clarasghost @Queenofthegreen @mo_wilson @Glorious_7
@Martina @Lily @Edna @ReadingQueen @missy @DiaostWc @Mamoula and all the other silent readers who have been with me from the start till the end.
Thank you for every power stone, golden ticket, gift and comment. 。◕‿◕。
Thank you from the depths of my heart for always supporting and loving the content I have written for you guys. (✿ ♡‿♡)
I will take a few days' break to stockpile for the next book and hopefully will publish it by the end of August or start of September.
The title will be "Mated to Alphas' of Orion." It will be a fantasy romance with tons of creatures and a reverse harem. The names and twins of Arata and Karsten; Alnitak and Mintaka are a foreshadowing for the next book.
Hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as you guys did this book.
Thank you again and peace out until we will meet in the next book.
