"What? None of you have any objections? Why isn't anyone saying anything?" Yun Hao took a couple of sips of tea and noticed that no one around was speaking. He looked up to find Liu Mengqi and Seductive Snake all staring at him, prompting his puzzled inquiry.

"We don't have any objections to what you've said!" Liu Mengqi answered on behalf of the others.

"Great, no objections!"

"But aren't you forgetting something? You've been talking for ages, and it's just us three doing the work. What about you?" Seductive Snake picked up the conversation, squinting at Yun Hao.

"Me? I'm obviously going home to be with my wife. This kind of fightin' and killin' stuff isn't my cup of tea. I'll leave it to you guys!" Yun Hao replied matter-of-factly.

"Why do you get to just wash your hands of everything and leave all the work to us?" Seductive Snake was the first to object. Why should they slave away while Yun Hao gets off scot-free, carefree and unconcerned?

"There's no 'why' to it. I'm just naturally hands-off. If you don't believe me, go ahead and ask Mengqi. Back when we were in the Netherworld Squad, I just held a nominal position!" Yun Hao threw a casual glance at her, as if looking at an idiot, then tossed the ball to Liu Mengqi!

"He's right; this guy has always been like that!" Liu Mengqi had to back him up, so upon seeing Seductive Snake's questioning gaze, she nodded in affirmation!

"No way, that was before. Now the Netherworld Squad is no more; we have the Netherworld Brigade, and our Mercenary Corps have merged under Thunder. You have to take charge, or I'm quitting!" Who knows what triggered Seductive Snake, as she suddenly threw a fit!

"But there's no position of authority available!" Yun Hao feigned helplessness.

"We're still short of a commander in Thunder, so you should take that role. The three of us are bound to have conflicts when managing things, and you can handle it then!" Seductive Snake seemed to be waiting for Yun Hao to ask this, replying without hesitation.

Upon hearing Seductive Snake's words, it wasn't just Yun Hao who was flabbergasted; Liu Mengqi and Tank also looked bewildered. What just happened? Yun Hao becoming Thunder's leader would mean Yun Hao becomes their leader. For former Netherworld members like Liu Mengqi, it's no big deal because Yun Hao's decisions have always counted where it matters in battle handling!

But for the former members from Seductive Snake's squad, they were a bit resistant—they still hoped Seductive Snake would take the lead role!

"Well, I'm not necessarily against being the leader, but will your people respect me?" Yun Hao pretended to look troubled at Seductive Snake!

"Stop fussing. I said you'd do it—who dares defy me?" Seductive Snake slammed the table with authority, prompting her underlings to all chime in agreement. There was no other way; Seductive Snake's influence in the team was too great, akin to Liu Mengqi in the Netherworld. Nobody dared challenge her!

"Alright then, I'll agree to be Thunder's leader, but I still want to go back and be with my wife. I can't stay here all the time, so Seductive Snake and Mengqi will take the roles of deputy commanders!" After Yun Hao agreed, he announced simply, then went back to sitting silently like a sealed bottle!

From then on, Yun Hao had no part in the Corps' management, which Liu Mengqi and Seductive Snake had to handle and instruct. Yun Hao and Tank were only listeners since they didn't understand management!

While Liu Mengqi and Seductive Snake were announcing tasks, Yun Hao sneaked out to call Chu Yan!

"Honey, I've already found a place here. When the time comes, just bring over the company's talents. I imagine when you arrive, I'll be going to Germany today to pick them up!"

After briefly relaying this, Yun Hao hung up, not because he didn't want to chat longer, but because Chu Yan still had work duties to attend to!

Yun Hao had already coordinated with Shafei, so he could go directly to pick up the people. How Germany permitted Shafei's departure was naturally something Shafei had sorted out. Hence, after notifying Liu Mengqi and the others, Yun Hao headed to Germany alone!

"Oh Yun, you're finally here! I almost missed you to death!" Shafei greeted him eagerly the moment Yun Hao got off the plane, giving him a big hug!

"I missed you too!"

"Should we stay a few days longer before leaving?"

"Better not. It's too dangerous here. Let's take your team and leave right away!" Yun Hao shook his head. What a joke! This was someone else's turf; he certainly wasn't planning to die here!

"Hehe, Asura is scared, huh!" Shafei giggled, then turned to reveal a group of over twenty people behind her, young and old, men and women. It seemed it was Shafei's team!

"Awesome, let's head to my place then. I've already arranged for equipment purchases!" Yun Hao beamed with happiness!

"Yun, you're breaking my heart. Is that all the value I hold in your heart? Touch my little heart; it loves you dearly!" Shafei blinked her big eyes, looking at Yun Hao innocently, but as she spoke, she reached out to caress him!

Yun Hao savored the gesture with an intoxicated look!

Yun Hao and Shafei, along with the team of scientists, boarded a plane to Africa. During the flight, Yun Hao listened to Shafei explain how Germany allowed her to leave under certain conditions!

Firstly, Shafei couldn't go to any other country to assist with research. Secondly, whenever Germany required her help in the future, Shafei had to support as she had done previously!

Yun Hao thought these two conditions were quite reasonable. Without some stipulations, that would've been surprising!

However, there was one condition Yun Hao hadn't anticipated, which was directed at him: they required Yun Hao to perform a future task for them without compensation!

Shafei informed them that she couldn't accept this on Yun Hao's behalf; they had to wait for Yun Hao's own response!

"Tell them for me, as long as it doesn't harm Huaxia or my loved ones, I can agree to it!" Yun Hao thought it over and consented. After all, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch, and if he refused, it's likely they'd have assassins waiting before the plane even landed!
