My Beautiful Disciples, I'm really not the Main Character!

Chapter 681: Demigod amongst mortals

The Priests, loyal to the Priestess to a fault, didn't hesitate. Their gaze burned with righteous fury as they glared at the Holy Emperor. They haven't forgotten the sufferings they went through after they lost their powers.

The Holy Emperor had ordered their arrest and everything that they owned was taken by the Empire. They had not only lost all the wealth that they had accumulated, but even their titles and influence was snatched away.

They were treated like criminals, even worse than mortals. As people who had lived in glory after being selected as the Priests, this brought endless shame to them.

They had never thought that they would get an opportunity to have revenge on the Empire. It was all because of the new Priestess that they had managed to not only recover their powers but also grow stronger.

They didn't have to suffer in silence. Now they could take revenge with their own strength. After the Empire's forces fell, there was only one person standing between them and their previous glorious life.

The last remaining obstruction in their path was none other than the Holy Emperor. With the news that the Holy Emperor was injured and the weakest he had ever been, they didn't need to worry about his counter either.

A priest whose face was covered with a wooden mask, raised a blessed mace to bring it down, attacking the Holy Emperor. He wasn't alone in attacking the Emperor either. The others also attacked at the same time.

However, to their surprise, Eren didn't look surprised. He didn't even appear scared in the slightest. After facing the monsters of the Upper Realm, the enemies in this place looked like children in his eyes.

He could not kill the Northern Continent's Transmigrator, but there was nothing stopping him from putting an end to the Priests before him.

He waved his hand lightly. His movements looked extremely ordinary, as if a mortal was making them. There was nothing surreal in them. But something strange happened.

As if keeping pace with Eren's movement, a thunder was heard in the sky. The sky that was bright and clear for the most part, was covered in dark clouds.

All the attacks that came from the Holy Priests were easily broken by a weak gust of wind that followed Eren's movement.

In the upper realm, he might not be standing at the peak. But as a demigod tier being, he was almost supreme in the lower world.

Not only did a slight movement destroy the attack of the Priests, but the wind blades kept rushing forth without growing weaker.

"Arghh!"

Blood gushed everywhere, accompanied by the screams of the Priests that were arrogant just a few seconds ago.

No one knew what Eren used to attack them, but there was not even the slightest fluctuations of Holy Aura in that attack. Instead, it felt like an attack that used the laws of the universe, triggering even a natural phenomenon.

The Priests that were surrounding Eren and the Holy Emperor's brother were killed in an instant. Their bodies fell, none being left intact. It created a gruesome sight.

"What?" The Holy Priestess was left stunned. She had thought that the Holy Emperor was injured and weak. Why else would he be hiding in his Palace while the Holy Empire fell?

She had many questions in her mind. Did the Holy Emperor lie about his injury? Did he spread this lie to appear weak and pull all enemies within the confounds of the Royal City.

The possibility made a chill run down her spine. If Eren had really sacrificed all his forces and the fate of this Empire to maintain this lie, then how cold and vicious was the heart of this person?

She had already thought that the Holy Emperor was an evil man that supported and worked with that false Priestess.

It was also this Holy Emperor who had betrayed her in the past after all. But even she didn't expect him to be this vicious to his own.

Even when his own brother was on the verge of death, he hadn't revealed his true strength. He let his brother be hurt to maintain this facade. It was only at the end, he revealed his true strength.

The Holy Priestess was grimacing. She couldn't understand the source of Eren's strength, which was used for the last attack.

With the fall of the Empire and the weakening of the Empire's destiny, he should've been weaker. Instead, he seemed stronger and had used an unknown attack.

Unlike the Priestess, the Transmigrator of the Northern Continent was gleeful deep down in his heart. The stronger his enemy, the more excited he felt. After all, his enemy's strength could help his own strength.

He slowly stepped before the Holy Priestess, hiding her from Eren's sight. If Eren wanted to get through to her, he had to get past him. And he could only get past him by killing him.

Eren was amused at the reaction of the Transmigrator. If he hadn't known better, he would've killed that man first to take out the biggest threat. But he knew better.

"What is your name?" He asked the Northern Transmigrator, even though he already knew his name through his identification skill.

"A dead man doesn't need to know my name." The young man held his Sword firmly with his fighting intent flaring up. "Even if you have healed, you would still die today."

He threatened Eren, trying to make him upset. He wanted Eren to use a killing move that he couldn't avoid. Once that happened, everything would fall into place. And his system would have no excuse to deny his power up.

He had bloodlines that made him undying. Eren already knew that. But what he still didn't know was that the bloodlines weren't the only things that he had.

He had something that Eren had overlooked because of the bloodline. Just like the Main Character of the Eastern Continent that died at Eren's hand, He also had a system that complimented his bloodline.
