Chapter 183: Xia Pingzhou vs. Red Traffic Light (Part 3)

The people from the Ghost Train Corps arrived as expected.

Upon seeing the scene at the underground bar, Ke Qirui raised an eyebrow in surprise and glanced at Xia Pingzhou from beneath the brim of her hat.

She lowered her hat brim, thinking to herself: Did Xia Pingzhou defeat the Red Traffic Light? Such speed, it must have been intel provided by Black Cocoon... but it's been less than a moment since we arrived here.

Su Zimai, dressed in a black suit, knitted his brows. After a week, he once again locked eyes with this man whose gaze was as cold as that of a vicious wolf.

She had heard that "Red Traffic Light" was also among the best of the second-tier Exorcists, with strength close to the Quasi-Calamity level, but she didn't expect Xia Pingzhou to have resolved it before they even arrived; the battle time might not even have been a minute.

Xu Sanyan and Lin Zhengquan had already silently summoned their Celestial Drivers. They were uncertain if Xia Pingzhou was an enemy, for his stance was overly ambiguous; at the auction, he nearly killed Su Zimai.

At this moment, Ke Qirui was vigilantly observing her surroundings, as if determining whether members of the White Crow Travel Brigade were nearby.

After confirming no other figures were present, she then turned her gaze to Xia Pingzhou.

"I'm not in the mood to fight with you now..." Xia Pingzhou slowly turned his head, locking eyes with Ke Qirui, signaling her not to speak recklessly, "I advise you to let me go."

"Alright, but you have to leave our target behind," Ke Qirui said, "We weren't originally here for you."

"No problem, anyway, I don't know them, you can deal with this person as you wish," Xia Pingzhou said.

After speaking, he ordered the Queen's Statue to pull out the two daggers embedded in the Red Traffic Light's body, then retrieved the Chess Species, and nonchalantly turned around, heading towards the bar's back-up exit together with the Queen's Statue.

Su Zimai was momentarily stunned, then asked with a sullen face, "Captain, are we just letting him go like that?"

"What else, do you want him to scare the piss out of you again?" Xu Sanyan sneered.

"Alright, don't tease Xiaomai," Lin Zhengquan said.

"Xiaomai, calm down," Ke Qirui said, "The White Crow Travel Brigade might be around here; if we engage with him, it could draw unnecessary trouble."

While they were speaking, they watched Xia Pingzhou's departing figure.

However, at this moment, his figure suddenly paused slightly.

"To think they could come so quickly..." Xia Pingzhou's eyes flickered, murmuring silently.

Two seconds later, he slowly stopped and, together with the Queen's Statue, turned to look toward the entrance.

Ke Qirui was about to check the Red Traffic Light's injuries when she saw Xia Pingzhou suddenly stop, and looked up to ask him:

"What is it?"

The Queen's Statue squinted its eyes, a cold blue flame burning fiercely in its eye sockets.

The next moment, a deafening sound of something piercing through the air came, followed by a swirl of white mist rushing into the bar like a gale and lightning.

The four from the Ghost Train Corps were stunned simultaneously, then turned their heads alertly.

At this moment, sitting atop the cloud of mist rolling like waves, were five children dressed in white hospital gowns.

"Captain, those children are..." Su Zimai frowned, murmuring.

"Somersault Cloud?"

Ke Qirui softly muttered, looking up at the surge of clouds in mid-air, then looking at the figures on the cloud.

On the farthest edge sat a thin teenager with his head lowered, his eyes covered by his bangs, holding a white-haired girl in his arms, who was holding a small notebook;

In the middle was a blond, blue-eyed boy, playing with a PSP, not intending to lift his gaze;

Further up was a black-haired boy with wolf ears and a tail, his dark eyes deep as an abyss;

Leading the five was a girl with long dark red hair, eyes closed, and the next second, a dazzling red light blossomed from her chest, her red hair soaring high.

Soon after, a dark golden staff appeared in her hand.

The red-haired girl opened her eyes, held the dark golden staff, and slowly raised her head to look imperiously at everyone present.

"None of you are allowed to move."

She said, her lips curling into a confident smile.
