My Antique Mirror Is A Portal To Another World

Chapter 237: Good News

A second later, Weng Zhitong's cheerful voice came through the speaker. "Miss Bai, I have good news for you."

Bai Hanyun raised her brows, her voice tinged with interest. "Oh? What kind of good news?"

Sensing her curiosity, Weng Zhitong quickly explained, "The owner of the land you wanted to purchase has finally agreed to sell it. Also, your live broadcast building is in the final stages of construction. It will be completed within a week."

When Bai Hanyun heard this, her eyes lit up. 'Perfect! My plan can finally begin.'

Suppressing her excitement, Bai Hanyun said calmly, "That is indeed good news."

"Miss Bai, I will send over the documents for your signature once everything is ready," Weng Zhitong promised.

"Alright. Then I will be waiting for your visit. Thank you, Manager Weng."

"It's my honor to be of service, Miss Bai. I will see you soon," she said, then ended the call.

Just as she was about to put her phone away, a message from Mu Yingzuo popped up.

[Miss Bai, can you receive the cement, sand, and aggregates today?]

Reading the message, Bai Hanyun typed a quick reply: [Yes. I will be waiting at my warehouse.]

[Got it.]

An hour later, Gao Gong parked the car in front of the warehouse.

Seeing that the delivery team from the Mu Family Construction Material Store was already waiting there, Bai Hanyun got out of the car and trotted toward them.

"Brothers, sorry to keep you guys waiting." Bai Hanyun said apologetically.

Hearing this, the team leader smiled at her and said, "It's fine. We just arrived."

Smiling apologetically, Bai Hanyun opened the gate to the parking lot. "Brothers, please come in."

While the driver maneuvered the container trucks into the parking lot, Hua Yuyu also drove Bai Hanyun's car inside.

The team leader then handed her the purchase receipt. "Miss Bai, please sign here."

Accepting the purchase receipt from him, Bai Hanyun carefully checked the amount and price before signing.

Once she was done, the team leader took a copy and turned to his men. "Brothers, let's unload the goods."

As usual, while the workers unloaded the goods, Bai Hanyun and the team leader checked the quantity and quality together.

Two hours later, Bai Hanyun transferred the remaining balance to Mu Yingzuo, gave everyone generous tips, and then sent them off.

When everything was done, she walked into the warehouse and locked the door.

Inside, she opened her backpack and took out the antique mirror.

Seeing its dim, half-dead appearance, she asked with a hint of worry, "Hey, you look sick. Are you really alright?"

The antique mirror glowed faintly once before a single word appeared on its surface: [Yes.]

Though skeptical, Bai Hanyun accepted the answer and tapped the frame twice.

Two seconds later, she noticed that the mirror's surface only cleared slightly, unlike the previous times.

Afraid it might suddenly go offline, Bai Hanyun decided to quickly send the goods to Feng Xiyan.

Looking into the mirror's surface, she saw the familiar interior and called out, "Feng Xiyan."

Inside the tent, Feng Xiyan and the generals heard her voice.

After two days without speaking to her, Feng Xiyan had missed her dearly and hurried to the altar.

While the generals stood behind him with clasped fists in greeting, Feng Xiyan looked at the bronze mirror and replied, "Fairy Bai, Xiyan is here."

Although the image was somewhat blurry, Bai Hanyun could still see Feng Xiyan and the generals' reflections without problem.

Seeing how haggard his face was, she asked worriedly, "Feng Xiyan, are you alright? Your face looks so pale."

Sensing her worry, Feng Xiyan smiled gently and replied, "Xiyan is fine. Just a little tired. Thank you, Fairy Bai, for your concern."

Bai Hanyun gazed at him for a moment before softly saying, "Don't push yourself too hard. You also need to rest."

Feng Xiyan nodded toward the bronze mirror and answered obediently, "Mhm, Xiyan knows."

After confirming that he was truly fine, Bai Hanyun continued, "Feng Xiyan, the cement, sand, aggregates, glutinous rice, and quicklime you requested have all arrived. Can you receive them now?"

The moment Feng Xiyan and the generals heard this, their eyes lit up with joy. They had been waiting for these supplies, and today they can finally get them.

Nodding quickly, Feng Xiyan replied, "Yes. Xiyan has already prepared a place to store them. Fairy Bai, please wait a moment."

"Alright."

Without delay, Feng Xiyan wrapped the bronze mirror with a red silk cloth, then turned to the generals.

"Let's head to the warehouse area."

The generals clasped their fists and replied in unison, "Yes, Great General."

Leading the way, Feng Xiyan strode out of the tent with the generals following closely behind.

Soon, they reached the warehouse area. There, Feng Xiyan unwrapped the red silk cloth and handed it to Zhan Qi.

Holding the bronze mirror, he said, "Fairy Bai, you may send them over now."

"Alright." Bai Hanyun looked into the antique mirror and asked, "Can you help me send these supplies over?"

The antique mirror glowed dimly once at her words, then a faint golden glow enveloped the goods inside Bai Hanyun's warehouse. A moment later, the golden light vanished—together with the supplies.

Within seconds, boxes and sacks appeared before Feng Xiyan and the generals.

Staring at the mountain of supplies in front of him, Feng Xiyan marveled in his heart, 'Fairy Bai is truly remarkable. In just two days, she could gather so many supplies for us.'

While he was silently praising her in his heart, Bai Hanyun's phone suddenly rang.

Seeing it was from an unknown number, she answered, "Hello? Who is this?"

A second later, a man's voice came through the speaker. "Hello, am I speaking with Miss Bai Hanyun?"

"Yes. May I know who I'm speaking with?" Bai Hanyun asked politely.

"Miss Bai, I'm from the Speedy Delivery Company. We have a shipment for you from Shen Yi Weapon Store. Are you available to receive it?"
