"How is that even possible," he was shocked.

Tunde and the other guys laughed.

Dion paused, "But why lock it if you are gonna be watching it so often?".

The laughter paused, and he was now being looked at like an alien.

"SP," Tunde called, a little cautiously. "You dey craze, abi?"

Most of them began recounting their various experiences, and it was then that Dion realized how easy he had it back home.

"My own was worse," a boy named Justin was now recounting. "I just left my phone unlocked on the dining table to go and collect my toast bread in the kitchen when I started hearing my little sister shouting, 'mummy see oh, mummy see oh'," he sighed. "The kind thing that woman flogged me that day, I will never forget".

Dion, "..."

"Your own better,"

"Your own better," and Hausa boy named Ibrahim chipped in with pidgin english. "Na so I dey last Sallah, I dey for my room dey watch my own thing. My father come call me make I play music for them from my phone, I connect am for speaker dey play the music oh," he paused, then suddenly sparked as if still enraged by the mere memory. "Na so my useless sister carry my phone, press shortcut, come enter the thing - "

"Chei!" the boys exclaimed in unison, Dion included.

"My father, mother, three stepmothers, my Grandpa and Grandma, my Uncles and all their wives and children, every body just dey look me..."

He didn't need to go on, everyone already knew where the story was headed.

In conclusion, Ibrahim lifted his school shirt up and showed his back, some fair lines were branded in contrast to his naturally black skin.

"Chai," he shook his head bitterly. "The mark never go".

Dion's eyes twitched, even he could only imagine. He joined the others in consoling Ibrahim.

'I'm suddenly grateful of the fact I don't have a little sister '.

In the end Dion came to a conclusion, all these guys here probably needed this app, to them it's priority was probably second only to oxygen.

"Yeah, you guys probably do really need that safe".

He walked away, his mind still reeling. He suddenly paused, his eyes widening in shock.

"How... how is it even possible".

He just performed a mental check on the paper in his hands, the one Chinyere gave him, and he realized something groundbreaking. He could remember, he could vividly remember every last bit of it , every last detail, with a pen he could write down a perfect replica, but he had only glanced at it once and even that was a half effort.

Not only that, Dion realized it was the same with those etotic videos Tunde had just shown him, he could remember every detail his eyes had skimmed over, their titles, cover poses, all of it, he could remember them perfectly.

Dion knew he was smart, exceedingly so, he has numerous awards to prove he was one of the best students nationwide, but this... this was abnormal.

Standing there, he felt a nostalgic sense of deja vu hit him.

He suddenly felt goosebumps race across his skin, his hair standing on end, the noise and chattering of fellow students fading into the background, growing dimmer and dimmer till it was nonexistent, and then a deathly silence settled in.

Once again, the world slowed down.

'Not again'.

But irrespective of his opinion it was, yet again.

But this time it felt like something was different, he perceived everything clearer, he flowed into the rhythm of the rhythmlessness of timelessness, and then he wasn't an observer constricted and trembling with terror, he wasn't a stranger here, he was in his element.

And it was in that moment something incredibly happened, while the world and everything in it was frozen, he moved... Dion moved.

While everyone else seemed to be trapped in a bubble devoid of any motion, he pricked his and it burst. Dazed, and in a state of unbelief, he moved his feet.

This one action stretched on slowly, but instead of it feeling like an uncomfortable moment of sluggishness, it wasn't, it seemed as moments of clarity which allowed him enough time to scrutinize and observe his environment before making any moves.

It was so satisfying and comfortable that he ended up taking a few more steps before he was suddenly hit with waves of dizziness and nauseousness such that he staggered and bent towards a nearby desk to steady himself.

PRICK

The bubble seemed to finally loose it's ability to hold up and burst, reality swiftly caught up with him and an unfamiliar disorganised cacophony intruded on the vacuum he was in, like a tide the noise sought to overwhelm him, he felt like something in his head was struck by a hammer, it made his alredy unbearable dizziness get worse.

He felt a terrible headache tear through his head making him wince, while his ears were ringing.

He grabbed the desk beside him for support, and slowly squat down, shut his eyes and cradled his head in both his palms.

It took a while with all the noise around but eventually the headache and the ringing in his ears subsided, at least enough for him to rise.

While he was wondering if anyone had noticed his weird behaviour, he suddenly opened his eyes and immediately jumped back a little in fright.

"Ah!"

Someone was sitting on the sit of the desk he had just been grabbing for support, and this person was gazing at him hatefully, a frown had twisted his features to the extreme.

"Hahaha," Dion gave an awkward laugh.

He pushed his glasses up with a finger and then smiled, "What's up, Jerry".

The scowl tightened even further.
