Mutant Gamer In Marvel

Chapter 84

For just a fraction of a second, I let the words sink in, their sound, the way lips move when the letters that compose them are spoken, and then their meaning.

" They are currently under attack." Yao seemed calm when he spoke the words; he expected a reaction from me, but he wasn't sure which one I would have.

But words sometimes are useless, and actions are far better.

My body disappeared, and I reappeared above Krakoa, Yao following behind with a portal of his own.

What I saw made my blood freeze for a second: an army of cyborgs, because I feel no life from them, is raining hell on the previously peaceful island.

In that second, I felt everything happening on the island; I felt one of the cyborgs slice an arm off from one of the mutants, copying Scott's power and using them to kill several mutants on the spot, and one was about to crush Rogue's head.

One was about to kill Rogue.

If it hadn't been for Gamer's Mind, rage would have filled every cell in my body and controlled all of my actions, but it didn't; my rage was controlled, it was focused, and it was still present.

I took a step forward, and all of the sentinels, no matter what powers they had absorbed, no matter how big or small they were, regardless of the distance, stopped moving, the dimension around them cracking and splitting them from this dimension so that they couldn't hurt anyone else.

Another step forward, and all the injured on the island were instantly healed, holes closed, limbs grew back, and organs weren't missing anymore.

By the third step, I was in front of the cyborg who was about to kill Rogue; her unconscious body lay on the ground. I had healed her, so I knew how many injuries she had suffered and how close she had been to death, even without the attack I had stopped.

Mana began covering the island, in an amount that made the air heavy, causing the water to boil and the earth to tremble. My mind screamed for vengeance, and I was about to get it.

The dimension around the cyborg became smaller and smaller, from the size of a normal human, the thing was forced to the size of a Rubik's Cube. A limitless amount of fire melted the metal that composed its body, and last but not least, it went inside my inventory, with its will gone, all that was left were materials for me to store and use.

Something strange happened then: some of the bigger cyborgs began moving once again; they had somehow found a way to adapt to the trap I had made for them and find their way back to this dimension, and now they were all focused on me.

I spared them a look and then summoned my wings to lure them away from the island. Teleporting could make them switch targets.

Their speed was a close match to mine; they tried teleporting and attacking at the same time, but the mana made me constantly aware of their use of powers and warned me, making me able to counter all of their attempts at my life.

Once we were in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, with no one to injure around, I turned and waited for their arrival.

A whisper from mana, and I moved my head to evade a blade from piercing my head. One of them had teleported right behind me.

With a speed I didn't know I possessed, I grabbed the thing's head and focused fire mana on it, making the "brain" of the thing melt in my grasp and letting me store the body in my inventory.

Two tried to attack Scott's beam on me, quickly used the portal, and they attacked each other. The damage done wasn't a lot, but just enough to let me turn one of the two into the 2d version of itself.

The air around me began to chill as the water froze, and my feet were about to get stuck, but with a quick flick of fire mana, all of it melted, and the cyborg who had changed his body structure copied Bobby's power, also melted because of the high temperature.

Seeing that from a distance, they couldn't do much, they switched to melee to try and overwhelm me with numbers. A cloning spell would be useful right about now.

I moved my head away, kicked a blade, blocked a punch, created a mana construct to block several attacks, and even used my forehead covered with chaos magic to smash it against one of them and turn its body's chemical structure into soap, the first thing that came to my mind at the moment.

More and more arrived, and an endless sea of cyborgs was attacking, but it didn't matter, as long as the island was safe, and the people at Kamar-Taj were alive, I would fight, no matter what.

I launched spells, blocked attacks, and altered reality; my familiars even came out to help. Obsidian sliced and ate some of them, flying with its adult form. Ivy helped heal them when necessary, moving through the water like a snake, Zephyr attacked with tornado after tornado while flying, Sol became the size of a house and covered them in dimensional fire melting their bodies and leaving nothing behind, Pasht was forced to fight a magical construct because she didn't exactly know how to swim, but she was doing her job quite well whenever she got attacked, making sure to turn them into little cube with every attack.

And then, when I destroyed the nth of their they all stopped moving, a signal had ordered them to come back, but I caught that signal, and I know where it is.

Thanks for the support from everyone. The list is getting quite long, so sorry if I can't keep up with it.

AN: If someone wonders, I decided to fuse the movies and comics versions of Sentinels, because let's be honest, aside for special cases, the comics Sentinels were absolute jokes.
