MULTIVERSE & NARUTO WITH GACHA SYSTEM AND KAKASHI

Chapter 37: only choice

"How was your tour?" I asked casually, breaking Saya's train of thought as she passed through the corridor.

She turned around, surprise flashing across her face for a brief moment before her usual composed expression returned.

"Tour?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"To Konoha," I replied, watching her reaction as the memory resurfaced.

"Konoha… Konoha!" Her eyes widened before narrowing again, her finger pointing accusingly at me. "You… You! How did you know about that?"

I sighed lightly, crossing my arms. "Let me explain."

As I went on, detailing everything, her expression wavered despite her efforts to maintain composure. Her sharp mind was processing my words, but disbelief clouded her face.

"Ha, nice joke," she finally said, her tone laced with skepticism. "Do you really think I'd believe something like that? Another world? And you came to recruit subordinates for yourself?"

I simply smiled, unfazed by her reaction. I cast another illusion, projecting vivid memories of her father things she shouldn't have been able to see or know.

Saya froze, her confident facade cracking as the images unfolded before her. Her voice trembled slightly as she whispered, "You…"

"You saw what's going to happen, didn't you?" I said, my tone calm but heavy with meaning.

Her fists clenched at her sides as she struggled to process the truth laid bare before her.

Saya's POV

What's happening?

Is this all real?

Even though I don't want to believe it, deep down, I know it is.

Think, Saya. What do you know?

My father has a bastard a son older than me.

He plans to use me in some deal... or worse, kill me. Kill Mom.

Mom probably already knows. She just didn't tell me.

What can we do?

Hide? Run away?

No. He'll find us immediately. His reach is too vast.

Expose the truth?

No. Politics and power aren't so easily toppled.

We don't have any openings. No allies.

And now there's this... another world.

A world of killers.

A person from that world came here, looking for someone to take back with him—to work for him.

Is it possible he's just some hidden esper, playing a sick joke on me?

...Probably not.

The situation is what it is.

"What do you want?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly despite my best efforts to stay composed.

For a moment, I thought he might say he wanted to take me with him. But then again, how could I be of any use in a world where killing is as easy as blinking?

"You. I want you, Saya," he said plainly.

I froze. Me? He said he wants me.

"I want you to become my slave."

Slave. That word echoed in my mind, but I ignored it, trying to understand the depth of his intentions.

Does he want to take me back with him? Why? I can't fight.

"I can't fight," I said aloud, testing his reaction.

Although I may be smart, I'm not exceptional. There are people far more capable than me. So why did he choose me?

Do I have some hidden talent or inheritance, like in those Chinese novels where the female lead is always kidnapped by some mysterious sect?

"I didn't ask you to," he shrugged, his casual tone dismissing my internal monologue.

"Can my mother come with me?" I asked cautiously. It seemed like he didn't plan to kill me, and honestly, I didn't have any other choice.

"Hmm, yes," he replied simply.

"Can we come back?" I pressed, my voice quieter this time. I didn't want to stay there not after what I saw in that illusion. The death scenes, even if fake, still felt disturbingly real.

"No," he said firmly, shaking his head.

I had already anticipated this answer, but still... it stung.

"I have a question," I began, hesitating before continuing. "Can't you just take me without permission? Why are you asking instead of... you know, kidnapping me?"

He tilted his head slightly, considering his response. "Hmm, many reasons. No need for more drama. And, well... it's probably not worth it."

I frowned, his words cutting deeper than I wanted to admit.

Does he mean to say I am not that important?

Maybe I'm not. But that's not important for now.

What matters is survival ,mine and Mom's.

If going with him is the only way to escape Father's schemes, then so be it. Pride doesn't mean much when the alternative is death.

He leaned back casually, his eyes fixed on me as if he could read every thought running through my head.

"Have you decided?" he asked, his voice calm, almost indifferent, but his gaze sharp.

I took a deep breath. "If I come with you... can you guarantee my mother's safety?"

He tilted his head slightly, considering. "Safety is relative. In my world, danger is everywhere, but under me, she'll be protected as long as she's useful."

His bluntness stung, but I nodded. "And if we're not useful anymore?"

He smirked faintly, not bothering to sugarcoat. "Then you'd better find ways to stay useful."

I clenched my fists. "Fine. I'll go. But only if my mother comes too also what happens when I get there? What's expected of me?"

His's smirk returned, this time with a hint of amusement. "Survive. Learn. Adapt. You'll figure it out. You're smart, after all."

I clenched my fists tighter, trying to steady my nerves. His nonchalant attitude grated on me, but I couldn't deny the truth in his words. Every move he made, every sentence he spoke, felt calculated. He wasn't wasting time convincing me because he already knew I didn't have a choice

"Fine," I said, my voice firmer this time. "But if anything happens to my mother—"

Kakashi interrupted, his tone sharp and final. "Nothing will happen to her unless she makes it happen. Remember, Saya, safety in my world isn't something you're given. It's something you earn."

I hated how easily he dismissed my threats, but I couldn't argue. He wasn't wrong. In this world, I was already on borrowed time. In his world? I'd likely be a speck of dust in the chaos of whatever awaited me. But still, I had to ask myself: What choice did I have?

"Survive. Learn. Adapt," I repeated under my breath, testing the weight of those words. The mantra wasn't new
