NOVEL NEXT Chapter 8: Eve Pov
Its been a millenia since I felt this excited. How long has it been seemed like a trivial question yet I knew the time down to the planar second. It was quite odd for me to be this invested in a mortal, with all those arrogant and somewhat stupid reincarnations. Yet, I felt captivated, dare I say, enthralled with this mortal whose name she remembered, Kaname Amenagawa. 'I feel excited' was the first thought I had when we went through the transmigration experience and it was right on the mark for a being like her, a being with near almighty power.
When I decided to become a system for him, I prepared myself for the adventure of a lifetime. The system vessel I constructed was quite advanced. It was composed of several concepts, making it a near conceptual weapon on par with the nigh-almighties. Then came the most interesting part. I then imparted myself, my very being into the system and was now apart of the mortal, John Smith, who was now reborn as Kaname Amenogawa.
I spent most of my days in a state of pure observation. The system was like a tiny house, comfortable and relaxing. I did conversate with him many times, and I also kept track of his abilities through several updates, arranging and modifying things for them to work properly no matter where they were. I also sometimes would modify settings so things could be accomplished easier, like the assimilation thing would have taken years, and now can take shorter time, often a few months.

The last few days felt like a long journey of self discovery mixed with the anger of a parent. I mean, the people Kaname was dealing with felt very much like scolding a child. It was quite a sight to see, especially when he was confronted by 'that' Quincy. Ishida Uryuu, a person well known for being the top of his class at Karakura High School, and less known for his works as a monk that slays hollows. He was a bit of an angry soul and made fun of Ichigo. Kaname on the other hand, was respected yet he was treated as if he was apart of the enemy.
[I think we should teach him a lesson] I said to Kaname during an interaction with him. "I know, but he is important and he's still just a kid" said Kaname as he was heading back to our house. It was a quaint one but it was very cozy, even if I did not physically indulge in it. I observed him going through his daily routine of cultivating and practicing his abilities until he went to bed. I never had to sleep, so I kept myself occupied by whatever novels were in his subconscious memory.
It was only a few days later that something happened which seemed stupid to me. The Quincy, the stupid boy, decided it was smart to start a dangerous bet with the shinigami by using hollow bait to attract hollows. Where it gets started is instead of weaker hollows, it summons a hollow, a Menos Grande, which tears open a hole in the fabric of space to come into Karakura town. 'I know this place is a spiritual hotspot but seriously!' I thought as I watched Kaname begin to engage the hollows, using his techniques and greater strength to break down their resentment and absorb it. The truly evil ones he absorbed outright, not leaving a single trace.
'Huh, so he figured out a way to extract resentment so he can use it for his demonic cultivation' I thought to myself as I felt the red energy enter his body and as it began its cycling through his body, spirit, and core. I made sure the energy was reigned in as much as I could. It allowed the process to progress smoothly and allow his growth to accel faster than normal. His sword skills were also progressing nicely and he was able to command it with a single thought.
He went through mounds of hollows and his cultivation shot through 2 stages and he was now at the level of a deity transformation cultivator. His strength was rising at a right that should have caused complications, if it weren't for my influence in tempering the energy and power in his body through the system. 'I wonder, what would happen without my influence' I thought to myself as I saw him begin assissting in the evacuation of citizens, with only the Kurosaki siblings sticking out to me.
They had a lot connected to their family, both spiritually and physically. Destiny seemed oddly attached to many people in this world. 'Maybe Destiny has chosen the most important people in this universe?' I thought as I browsed what knowledge Kaname had regarding the story. Using my own authority I was able to glimpse the strings of fate, and realized they have wound themselves against people, people like Ichigo and that ignorant quincy.
However, the threads of destiny were not as tight as they should be if they were chosen by destiny. They were loose and looked like they could come loose at any moment. It didn't take me long to figure out the cause of said phenomena. 'Kaname' I thought as I laughed at what was happening. I mean, Destiny usually did not let this happen, but there were a few who could unwind and snip her threads which she so carefully wound.
I then had my thoughts taken off of this as Kaname began to get ready to take down the Menos Grande. He was near the duo of quincy and shinigami as they were forming a giant Heilig Bogen. He then began to coat it in resentment as the reishi which it was composed of began to mutate and become erratic. "Fire!" he shouted as the arrow surpassed normal speeds and looked like a beam of light. As the arrow impacted the Menos Grande, the hollow began to implode on itself as the raging resentfule energy was collected by Kaname for later use. "See yah boys!" said Kaname as we went back to our house.
[What was that?] I asked him as we returned home. "It was something I came up with on the spot" said Kaname. 'He is growing really powerful' I thought as I could see the path he was going to embark. 'I should be prepared what is to come, be sure to be careful Kaname' I thought to myself as we went through our usual routine in the night.
A/N: Hey y'all, thank you for reading this chapter. I decided to do one like this as I kind of just wanted to get to the crux of the plot. Hope you guys liked it, and I have a few questions to ask.
1.Should the Mc get a zanpakuto?
2. Should he learn Kido?
Also, Deity transformation is a cultivation stage listed in the appendix of the MXTX books, so I am using it as a base for cultivation. His powers right now are on par, atleast as far as I am thinking on a high ranking lieutenant. Any how, hope you guys have a good night!
