NOVEL NEXT Chapter 5: [5] Escape
"What are you doing" yelled Takashi
"This piece of shit tried to to get me killed, if you didn't show up at just the right time I would have been ripped apart"
Takashi froze, but as he looked over to the corpse he said "Even if your right that doesn't give you the right to kill him"
"Says who, everyone who made up those rules are either dead or going to be... and I wouldn't have killed him if he didn't deserve it" said Alex loudly "Now get off me"
Alex shoved Takashi to the side and stood up, he limped over to Koharu while the two holding him down scurried away.
"I brought you some bandages and medicine, but it looks like I might need some too" said Alex
He helped Koharu stand up before he collapsed into a seat and let out a long sigh while sinking into the chair. Alex checked over his body and didn't find anything that looked like a scratch from a fingernail, but he had plenty of deep cuts covering his arms and legs while the cuts on his face were shallow enough to scab over during the fight.
Leaning back into the chair Alex watched as the sun started to set dying the sky golden yellow, he had a small smile on his face as the fatigue started to catch up with him and he passed out.

The next morning Alex was woken up by the morning sun shining through the windows onto his face, he sat up in the chair and stretched his sore body and noticed that his legs and arms were bandaged.
He smiled while looking around the room but noticed the second group of people was missing.
"Guess they left because they were scared of me" mumbled Alex
Everyone was either sleeping at a desk or on the floor, see everyone gathered together made Alex smile for some reason. Slowly standing up Alex let out a few groans until he got used to the pain, he looked around until he found his metal bar on the teachers desk and grabbed it.
He decided to check his status menu excitedly seeing that he had completed his first quest.

Claiming his mission Alex checked his status menu.
[Shop Coins: 5]
"Its not much, but it gets me one step closer to becoming overpowered" said Alex excitedly
Alex streatched for a while trying to get rid of his soreness before sitting back in the chair. While waiting for everyone else to wake up Alex decided to see if he could buy anything from the shop with his five coins.
Opening the shop, the first tab Alex went to was the weapons tab he remembered when he first glanced over the shop he saw that the weapons prices were in the thousands but he found a way to sort the cheapest to the top.

"Hmm... Saeko uses the bokken so I know it can be used again the zombies if im good enough, but I kinda wanna try something else"
Alex clicked on each weapon and was able to read a small description, he knew about most of them but after reading he was most interested in the Iaitō which was basically just a dull sword used for training.
"Guess I'll buy the Iaitō, it seems like the best option"
After buying the weapon, it appeared mid-air infront of Alex and landed on the ground with a loud clank.
"Huh.. what was that" said a groggy Koharu
The rest of the group woke up and everyone's eyes went towards where the sound came from, and they saw Alex picking up what looked like a sheathed katakana.
"Whoa, where'd you get that" yelled Koharu as he jumped up and ran over
"Found it while you all were sleep"
He unsheathed the katakana and let Koharu admire it while listening in on what the group talked about on the otherside of the room.
"We're leaving, and that psychopath can't come with us"
Alex overheard Takashi talking about taking one of the buses and leaving them behind and thought "Good I was looking for a way to get away from this dumbass"
Re-sheathing the katakana Alex jumped up and looked out the window.
"Alright Koharu, I think it's time for us to leave this place"
Hearing this Takashi's group turned to him in suprise.
"We can stop by my house and pick up some supplies, then we can go to your house if you want"
Koharu nodded his head and Alex started walking towards the door.
"Wait, where are you going" yelled Takashi
"We're leaving... I thought I already said that" said Alex as he turned to Koharu "Can he not hear or is he just stupid"
Pulling open the door Alex walked out leaving behind a bright red Takashi who looked lile he was about to explode, while walking down the hallway he could hear some faint yelling coming from the classroom before Saeko walked out and started following them.
"Huh, so you decided to join us"
"Yeah... I don't think I fit in to well with them" said Saeko with the later half in a whisper
Alex and Saeko fought there way through the school until they finally made it to the front doors.
"So how are we gonna get to the city" asked Koharu
"At first I thought about running, but you hurt your foot so I was watching... him from the window" said Alex pointing to the zombified gym teacher
"What does he get to do with it?"
"Well"
Alex charged the gym teacher and split his head open before he could even let out a groan, as the corpse hit the ground Alex started searching through his pockets until he found it.
"See I told you I got this" said Alex holding up a pair of keys
