Multiple Personalities

It was colossal, easily several stories high, exuding a terrifying aura all over. Its eyes were like burning flames, filled with ferocity and brutality; its claws were exceptionally sharp, glinting with a cold light, as if they could easily tear apart anything.

It lunged at them with bared fangs and claws, its massive body whipping up a gale that made it almost impossible for them to stand firm.

"Not good, this Monster is here to stop us!" Shen Jingqi shouted loudly, his eyes filled with vigilance.

Xu An gripped his weapon tightly and said loudly, "Don't be afraid, we'll fight it!"

Lin Yu gritted his teeth and said, "Right, if we work together, we can definitely defeat it!"

Although Su Yao was somewhat scared, she still stood firmly beside her teammates, ready to fight together.

The Monster let out a roar, its sound causing the corridor to tremble slightly. It swung its huge claws toward Shen Jingqi and the others. Shen Jingqi nimbly dodged, avoiding the Monster's attack while swinging his weapon at the Monster's leg. However, the Monster's skin was incredibly tough, and the weapon only sparked off it, not causing any substantial damage.

"The Monster's skin is too thick, our attacks are useless!" Lin Yu said anxiously.

"Don't panic, let's try to find its weakness." Shen Jingqi said calmly, his gaze scanning the Monster, trying to find a flaw.

The Monster, missing its mark, became even more enraged. It opened its blood-red mouth and spat a jet of black liquid toward Xu An. Xu An quickly rolled to the side, avoiding the liquid attack. The liquid sizzled on the ground, corroding a large hole in the floor.

"That was close, that liquid is corrosive!" Xu An said with lingering fear.

They engaged in a fierce battle with the Monster. The corridor was filled with the smell of smoke and blood; shouts, and the Monster's roars interwoven. Shen Jingqi and the others constantly dodged the Monster's attacks while looking for opportunities to counterattack.

"I'll distract it, you guys look for a chance to attack." Shen Jingqi said, charging at the Monster without hesitation, deliberately making some taunting moves.

The Monster got infuriated by Shen Jingqi, abandoning its attack on the others to chase him with all its might. Shen Jingqi darted left and right in the corridor, maneuvering with the Monster. His heartbeat quickened, and his breath grew labored, but he knew he couldn't back down; this was their only chance to get out.

Xu An, Lin Yu, and Su Yao seized the opportunity, attacking the Monster when it pursued Shen Jingqi. Their weapons pierced fiercely into the Monster's abdomen, causing it to let out a wretched scream and stagger.

"We did it!" Lin Yu shouted excitedly.

However, the Monster did not fall. It struggled furiously, swinging its claws and attacking them recklessly. Shen Jingqi and the others dared not relax for a moment, continuing to battle the Monster.

In the intense battle, they gradually gained the upper hand. The wounds on the Monster's body increased, and blood flowed endlessly. Its movements became more sluggish, and its attacks weakened.

"Give it all you've got; it's almost done for!" Shen Jingqi shouted.

They concentrated their efforts for a final attack on the Monster. Shen Jingqi leapt high, his weapon imbued with immense power, slashing towards the Monster's head. The Monster was slow to evade and was struck in the head by the weapon. It let out an ear-piercing wail as its enormous body crashed to the ground.

"We've finally defeated it!" Xu An collapsed to the ground, gasping heavily.

"We did it!" Lin Yu jumped up with excitement.

Su Yao also revealed a relieved smile, looking at Shen Jingqi with admiration in her eyes: "Shen Jingqi, we owe it to you for discovering the Monster's weakness."

Shen Jingqi smiled and said, "This is the result of our collective effort. Now, let's get out of here quickly."

They rushed through the door, a flash of light, and they felt as if they were being pulled by a powerful force. When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves back in their original world.

They stood in a familiar place, looking at the familiar surroundings, their hearts filled with emotion. The time spent in the Mysterious Land felt like a nightmare, but also full of fantasy and excitement.

"Finally back, feels like a dream." Xu An said.

"Yeah, but this dream felt too real." Lin Yu said.

Su Yao looked at Shen Jingqi and asked, "Shen Jingqi, do you really think that Mysterious Land is that simple? Even though we've left, I still feel there's a lot of secrets not uncovered."

Shen Jingqi nodded and said, "I have the same feeling. The Mysterious Land harbors too many secrets, like a fog surrounding our hearts. Also, when we left, that portal suddenly appeared and then suddenly brought us back, it's all too bizarre."

They began to recall their experiences in the Mysterious Land, trying to find some clues. They remembered the ancient buildings, mysterious symbols, strange creatures, and that suddenly appearing portal.

"Really? Then let's go back and find that mural; maybe we can uncover the secrets of the Mysterious Land." Xu An said excitedly.

However, when they returned to the entrance of the Mysterious Land, they found that the mural was gone. Only faint traces were left on the wall, as if the mural once existed but had been deliberately removed.

"How could this be? Where did the mural go?" Lin Yu said in surprise.

"It seems someone doesn't want us to know the secrets of the Mysterious Land." Shen Jingqi said, with a trace of vigilance in his eyes.

"Who could it be? Why would they do this?" Su Yao asked.
