Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue looked at the place where the old man had disappeared, filled with emotion. In the following days, they journeyed onward according to the markings on the map. They encountered various dangers and puzzles—fierce beasts, bizarre traps, and mind-bending riddles. But with courage and wisdom, they repeatedly turned danger into safety.

However, as they drew closer to the source of the power, they felt an evil presence gradually approaching. It seemed as if a pair of eyes was secretly watching them, waiting for the right moment to strike.

"Jingqi, I feel like we're being followed," Lin Yue said cautiously, a hint of tension in her eyes.

Shen Jingqi nodded and said, "I feel it too. Let's be careful."

Quickening their pace, they tried to shake off the evil presence. But it clung to them like a shadow, always closely following behind.

Finally, in a valley, they were stopped by a group of mysterious people blocking their way. These people were wearing black robes, their faces hidden behind veils, making it impossible to see their features. They held sharp weapons, and their eyes showed a murderous intent.

"Hand over the map, and you can live," the leader said coldly, his voice full of threat.

Shen Jingqi held the map tightly and said, "Who are you? Why do you want to steal our map?"

The person sneered and said, "You don't need to know who we are. Just hand over the map, and you can leave here. Otherwise, the only path is death."

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue exchanged a glance, knowing that a fierce battle was inevitable. They assumed fighting stances, ready to meet the enemy's attack.

A fierce battle unfolded. The mysterious people's attacks were fierce, with their weapons swinging with great force. Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue relied on their agile movements and exquisite martial skills to maneuver around them.

During the fight, Shen Jingqi noticed the mysterious people's attack patterns seemed to follow a strange rhythm. He observed carefully, trying to find a way to break through. Suddenly, his eyes lit up as he spotted a flaw.

"Lin Yue, attack their left side!" Shen Jingqi shouted loudly.

Lin Yue understood and charged towards the left side of the mysterious people. They indeed exposed their weaknesses, and Lin Yue seized the opportunity to launch an attack, knocking several mysterious people to the ground.

Shen Jingqi also took the opportunity to counterattack, his long sword cutting through like lightning, forcing several mysterious people back. Seeing the unfavorable situation, the mysterious people began to retreat.

"Consider yourselves lucky today, but you can't escape," the leader of the mysterious people said viciously before hurriedly leaving with his subordinates.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue breathed a sigh of relief, but they knew the danger wasn't over. The mysterious people wouldn't easily give up on the map and would come after them again.

They tidied up a bit and continued forward. In the journey that followed, they remained more cautious and vigilant, constantly on guard for any movements around them.

Finally, they arrived at the last spot marked on the map. It was a massive castle, surrounded by a layer of mysterious mist, obscuring the view inside.

"This should be the place of power," Shen Jingqi said, his eyes filled with anticipation.

Lin Yue nodded and said, "But we must be careful; surely many dangers are hidden here."

They cautiously approached the castle. As they stepped through the castle gates, a powerful force rushed towards them, threatening to swallow them whole, leaving them breathless.

They endured the discomfort and continued forward. The interior of the castle was spacious, yet filled with a chilling aura. Strange portraits hung on the walls, with portraits of people whose eyes sent chills down one's spine.

Suddenly, a low roar echoed, reverberating through the castle, sending shivers down their spines. Immediately after, a gigantic monster appeared before them. The monster was as large as a mountain, covered in scales, spewing fierce flames from its mouth.

"What is that monster?" Lin Yue asked in terror.

Shen Jingqi gripped his weapon tightly and said, "No matter what kind of monster it is, we must defeat it. Only then can we find the power."

They engaged in a thrilling battle with the monster. The monster's attacks were ferocious, its claws whipping up a fierce wind. Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue dodged nimbly while searching for the monster's weakness.

During the battle, they discovered the monster's eyes were its weak point. By attacking its eyes, they could deliver a fatal blow.

"Lin Yue, attack its eyes!" Shen Jingqi shouted.

Lin Yue nodded, seizing the moment, she shot a sharp arrow at the monster's eyes. The arrow hit its mark with precision, and the monster let out a miserable scream, its body shaking.

Seizing the opportunity, Shen Jingqi launched an attack, his long sword piercing the monster's body fiercely. The monster collapsed with a crash, kicking up a cloud of dust.

They breathed a sigh of relief and continued towards the depths of the castle. In the deepest part of the castle, they discovered a massive treasure chest. The chest shimmered with a mysterious light, as if calling out to them.

"Could the power be inside this treasure chest?" Shen Jingqi said, his eyes full of excitement.

They slowly approached the treasure chest. The ground beneath their feet was uneven, and the stones made a slight friction sound against the shoe soles, like the rhythm of unease in this silent space. Shen Jingqi walked in front, his hands gently clenched, eyes vigilantly scanning the surroundings, while Lin Yue followed closely, her breath slightly rapid, gaze locked on the mysterious treasure chest ahead.

As Shen Jingqi's hand touched the chest lid, a shocking electric surge spread from his fingertips through his body. He took a deep breath, slowly exerting force, and the chest lid made a light "creak" sound as it opened. Instantly, a dazzling light shot up, like a sharp sword piercing through the dim space. Within the light, a crystal emitting powerful energy slowly emerged, its crystalline transparency shone with multicolored light, as if containing the entire universe's secrets.

Lin Yue couldn't help but gasp in amazement, her eyes widened, filled with shock and desire: "Is this the legendary mystical crystal? It's unbelievable!" Shen Jingqi's eyes widened too, his heartbeat involuntarily quickening, as a sense of mission surged within him. He slowly reached out, aiming to touch the nearly within-reach crystal.

However, just as they were about to pick up the crystal, a rapid burst of footsteps shattered the momentary silence.
