Chapter 208: Time Monument

Inside the Sand Chamber, the light gradually dimmed, and the sandy walls began to exhibit a peculiar texture, resembling ancient runes or some sort of cryptic code of nature, quietly awaiting the interpretation of a destined individual.

As they delved deeper, the sound became increasingly distinct.

"If it is indeed as the Victorious Meaning Truth says, then what we are pursuing now may not be a material secret, but rather a touch of truth deep within the soul."

Li Baiyu said.

Although Renault was not as deeply invested in philosophical discussions as the other two, his intuition also sensed the extraordinary hidden behind the sound. "Don't worry about all that, I just know that if we follow this sound, we're bound to discover something." His words were simple and direct, yet filled with trust.

As they ventured further into the Sand Chamber, after several twists and turns, the scene before them began to take on an extraordinary appearance. Mysterious glowing patterns began to appear on the sandy walls, flowing gently like living creatures, emitting a soft and enigmatic light that illuminated the path ahead.

Shen Jingqi stopped in his tracks, staring at these patterns, a strange sense of familiarity welling up within him. "This... seems to be some sort of ancient script or... a language that communicates between different dimensions?"

He murmured to himself, trying to search his memory for related information.

Li Baiyu took a step closer, reaching out his hand, almost touching the flowing light, but withdrew it at the last moment, fearing to disturb the mystery and harmony.

"If these patterns are indeed a language, then what do they want to convey to us? Is it a deeper understanding of the Sexual Realm and Victorious Meaning Truth, or... something more profound?" His voice carried a slight tremor, a complex emotion of reverence and anticipation for the unknown.

Renault looked around vigilantly, checking the surroundings to ensure there were no potential dangers. "Either way, there's something sinister about this place, there might be traps hidden here." His reminder brought the other two back from their contemplation, making them realize the importance of safety amidst exploration.

As they continued forward, the end of the Sand Chamber suddenly opened up, revealing a vast circular space before them.

In the center stood a massive black stone monument, its surface carved with the same flowing luminous patterns they had seen before, and the strange sound was emanating from deep within the monument.

Surrounding the monument was a thin layer of mist, in which vague silhouettes seemed to be moving, though their forms were indistinct, adding an eerie and mysterious atmosphere.

Renault excitedly ran up to the monument, reaching out to touch the symbols and patterns. Seeing this, Shen Jingqi quickly shouted, "Careful! This monument might hide some sort of trap or mechanism!"

Renault withdrew his hand, sticking out his tongue, "Got it, I'm just curious. What are these carvings on the monument? They look so mysterious."

Shen Jingqi approached the monument, carefully examining the symbols and patterns. His eyes glimmered with thought, "I've never seen these symbols and patterns before, but they seem to contain some sort of energy. This monument could be a portal to an unknown realm."

Li Baiyu also approached the monument, his gaze drifting over the monument as he tried to decipher the deeper meaning behind the symbols and patterns. He pondered silently, "This monument is so mysterious, and the sound is so extraordinary, there must be some kind of connection between them. Perhaps this monument is the key to unraveling the mystery of the Sand Chamber."

Just then, the symbols and patterns on the monument suddenly lit up, the light brighter than ever before. The strange sound also became clearer as if hundreds of voices were whispering in unison.

Renault stepped back in fright, covering his ears and shouting, "What's going on? Has this monument come to life?"

Shen Jingqi remained calmly in place, his eyes gleaming with excitement, "No, this monument hasn't come to life. It's just been activated by some kind of force, transmitting some sort of message or clue to us."

Li Baiyu also sensed the mysterious force, he stepped up to the monument, closed his eyes, and listened intently to the whispering, trying to capture some useful information.

Renault, meanwhile, stood a little further away, vigilantly observing the surroundings, his hands stealthily reaching for the dagger at his waist, ready to deal with any sudden situations. "This monument, and this sound, they're too strange. I feel like we're standing before a giant mystery, and if we're not careful, we could be caught in an unknown whirlpool."

Shen Jingqi glanced around, discovering some strange lines and patterns engraved in the sand beside the monument. He knelt down, carefully studying those lines and patterns, trying to find clues to solve the mystery.

Renault watched Shen Jingqi's research and muttered to himself, "What could this puzzle be? Is it related to these lines and patterns?"

Shen Jingqi surveyed the surroundings, his gaze tightly fixed on the sandy ground beside the monument. Those strange lines and patterns resembled ancient runes or tracks of some unknown creature, intricately intertwined. He knelt down, fingers gently tracing each detail on the sand, afraid of missing any potential clue.

"These lines... these patterns... what do they represent?" Shen Jingqi muttered to himself, his eyes glinting with thought. His fingers traced in the sand, trying to connect the lines and patterns into a meaningful whole.

Renault stood aside, watching Shen Jingqi study with such focus, curiosity arising within him as well. He scratched his head, muttering to himself, "What could this puzzle be? Is it related to these lines and patterns? They look like a kind of labyrinth or code, requiring us to find the correct path or combination."

Li Baiyu overheard Renault's muttering, he stepped up to join Shen Jingqi, crouching down to study those mysterious lines and patterns together. His gaze was deep, as if able to pierce the surface of the sand, seeing the secrets hidden within.

"These lines appear to have some sort of pattern," Li Baiyu pointed to a meandering line, "They're not randomly drawn, but have a clear direction and purpose. Perhaps this is the key to solving the puzzle."

Shen Jingqi nodded in agreement. He continued studying the lines and patterns, trying to find the connections and patterns between them. Time ticked by, the air in the Sand Chamber seemed to freeze, only their subtle breathing and the sound of fingers tracing the sand could be heard.

"These patterns... they seem to be guiding us to a certain place," Shen Jingqi suddenly said, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes, "Look, this pattern looks like an arrow pointing in that direction. And that line seems to be a path leading in that direction."
