Shen Jingqi was stunned, the look in Li Baiyu's eyes was sharp, and her tone of speech had become rude, completely unlike the familiar senior he's used to.

"Senior, what's wrong with you?" Shen Jingqi tentatively asked.

"Don't call me Senior! I don't know you!" Li Baiyu suddenly sat up and pushed Shen Jingqi away.

Shen Jingqi staggered a few steps, steadied himself, filled with doubt and unease.

The Li Baiyu in front of him, whether it was her expression, tone, or actions, was entirely different from the one he knew.

"Are you... really Li Baiyu?" Shen Jingqi asked boldly.

"Of course I'm Li Baiyu! Are you sick or something?" Li Baiyu glared at Shen Jingqi angrily.

Shen Jingqi's heart skipped a beat; the person in front of him, although having Li Baiyu's face, had a completely opposite personality and behavior. He didn't dare to act rashly, deciding to first stabilize the situation and then find out what was going on.

"I'm sorry, Senior, I might have mistaken you for someone else." Shen Jingqi pretended to be calm and said.

"Get lost! I hate seeing you!" Li Baiyu yelled at him.

Shen Jingqi sighed helplessly and turned to leave the infirmary.

Shen Jingqi walked heavily on the way back to the dormitory, his mind repeatedly echoing Li Baiyu's sharp eyes and rude words.

He could hardly believe that the rude person in front of him could be Li Baiyu.

As he walked, he thought, could Li Baiyu be suffering from some strange illness causing a drastic personality change?

Although he had previously seen and interacted with several of Li Baiyu's personalities, this person clearly acknowledged himself as Li Baiyu, making the situation more complex.

Shen Jingqi retraced his steps, although Li Baiyu had asked him to leave, he was determined not to go.

As he was deep in thought, a familiar scene suddenly caught his attention.

It was precisely Li Baiyu, but her current appearance shocked him.

Her hair was casually tied into a ponytail, and more importantly, she was striding toward the men's restroom.

Shen Jingqi's eyes widened in disbelief at what he was seeing.

He paused, hiding to the side, quietly observing Li Baiyu. She walked to the men's restroom door, pushed it open without hesitation, as if it was where she belonged.

Shen Jingqi was full of confusion and shock, completely unable to understand Li Baiyu's behavior. Could her condition have worsened to the point where her gender awareness was blurred?

Standing at the end of the corridor, Shen Jingqi kept his eyes firmly on Li Baiyu who had just emerged from the men's restroom. Her steps were steady, her expression carried an unprecedented coolness, entirely different from her previous rude manner.

Li Baiyu seemed oblivious to Shen Jingqi's gaze; she walked straight to her room, gently pushed the door open, and went inside. Shen Jingqi hesitated for a moment and followed her, but his steps felt unusually heavy.

Inside the room, the lights were dim and warm, yet seemed unable to dispel the strange atmosphere pervading the air. Shen Jingqi stood at the door, watching Li Baiyu's back as she stood by the window, staring at the night outside, seemingly lost in thought.

Just then, the door was pushed open again, the doctor walked in holding Li Baiyu's medical case. Shen Jingqi watched the doctor, anticipating he might bring some useful information.

The doctor walked over to Li Baiyu and said softly, "Li Baiyu, this is your medical case."

Li Baiyu turned around, her sharp eyes fixed on the doctor, with a tone of unmistakable assertiveness: "Doctor, you've got my name wrong. I'm Li Baiyu, the jade."

The doctor was evidently caught off guard by her words, he paused for a moment, then adjusted his glasses, carefully examining Li Baiyu: "Li Baiyu? Are you sure? The case says Li Baiyu."

"I'm sure! My name is Li Baiyu!" Li Baiyu's voice rose a notch, her tone full of indisputable authority.

Shen Jingqi hid in the shadows, extremely shocked. The Li Baiyu before him, or rather Li Baiyu, was entirely different from the senior he knew.

It seemed he was confused by the pronunciation of the name.

This person might be another sub-personality of Li Baiyu.

Therefore, he must go to re-engage with this new person.

Shen Jingqi's heartbeat quickened, feeling both curious and fearful.

Curious about what surprises or challenges this new Li Baiyu might bring him; fearful of whether she might pose a threat to him.

The message was from Uncle Li.

In the message, Uncle Li informed him that he was already waiting outside, ready to take them back to the villa. Shen Jingqi glanced at Li Baiyu, walked over.

He looked her in the eyes, using a calm and firm tone, said: "Li Baiyu, I'm Shen Jingqi. Whether you're Li Baiyu or Li Baiyu, I hope you can come back with me, so we can talk properly."

Li Baiyu squinted slightly, sizing up Shen Jingqi. After a moment, the corners of her mouth curled up in a cold smile, "Shen Jingqi? Hmph, I've heard of you. Since you're so persistent, I'll play along."

"Let's go." Li Baiyu gave Shen Jingqi a cold glance, then walked out of the room first.

Shen Jingqi hurriedly followed, and they took the elevator downstairs together. In the elevator, Li Baiyu remained silent, as if contemplating something. Shen Jingqi also dared not disturb, merely quietly observing her expression and actions.

The elevator doors opened, and the two walked out of the building. Uncle Li, having waited outside for some time, quickly stepped forward when he saw them come out: "You're back."

Shen Jingqi glanced at Li Baiyu, "Uncle Li, please take us back to the villa."

Uncle Li nodded upon hearing, then opened the car door. Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu sat in the rear seats. As the car started, Shen Jingqi began to try and converse with Li Baiyu: "Li Baiyu, do you… do you know who you are?"

Li Baiyu turned her head, coldly looked at Shen Jingqi: "Of course I know who I am. I am Li Baiyu, a one-of-a-kind existence in this world."

Shen Jingqi was momentarily speechless, caught off guard by Li Baiyu's direct and indifferent response.

Soon, the car stopped. Shen Jingqi looked up to find they had arrived at the villa entrance. He took a deep breath and then got out of the car with Li Baiyu.

Entering the villa, Shen Jingqi led Li Baiyu to the living room. He tried to make the atmosphere more relaxed: "Li Baiyu, we've arrived."

Li Baiyu glanced at Shen Jingqi, mocked: "Kid, I'm the owner, aren't I? Do I not know my own house?"

Saying this, she turned and walked toward Li Baiyu's room.

Shen Jingqi was inexplicably choked, his temper rising.

He stared at the message by the door of Li Baiyu's room, patiently observing.

After entering the room, Li Baiyu began rummaging through things.

A few minutes later, Li Baiyu came out of the room.

Clad in a black fitted outfit, paired with stylish combat boots, her hair was styled anew.

Her eyes even sharper, her demeanor even cooler, like a warrior straight out of a comic.
