Multiple Personalities

The film set was illuminated brilliantly, with the camera quietly aiming at the center of the stage. The first rehearsal of the day featured Haochuan and Su Qing as the leads. Haochuan donned a sharp suit, looking handsome and dashing; Su Qing wore an elegant white gown, resembling a fairy descending to the mortal world. Together, they appeared as if they were born to be a perfect couple.

The director held a megaphone and cleared his throat: "Alright, attention everyone, the rehearsal begins!"

Haochuan took a deep breath and slowly walked toward Su Qing. His eyes were gentle yet firm, seeming to concentrate all his affection at this moment. Su Qing slightly bowed her head, a blush spreading across her face, as she anticipated this moment's arrival.

"Su Qing," Haochuan called her name softly, his voice filled with deep emotion, "Do you know? From the first moment I saw you, I was deeply attracted to you."

Su Qing raised her head, her gaze meeting Haochuan's, and she seemed to hear the sound of her own heartbeat. "Haochuan..." she responded softly, her voice trembling slightly.

They moved closer, their breaths intertwining. Haochuan reached out, gently holding Su Qing's hand, their fingers interlocking tightly as if to freeze this affection forever.

"Su Qing, I love you." Haochuan declared with deep affection, every word seemingly dragged from the deepest part of his heart.

Su Qing's eyes welled up with tears, and she nodded gently, her voice choked with emotion: "I love you too, Haochuan."

Just as the two were immersed in the sea of love, suddenly, Haochuan's body swayed, and his face turned as pale as paper. He clutched his chest abruptly, a pained expression appearing on his face.

"Haochuan, what's wrong?" Su Qing cried out in panic, trying to grasp Haochuan's hand, only to find his body gradually losing support.

"I..." Haochuan struggled to utter a word, then fell softly to the ground.

"Haochuan!" Su Qing screamed, attempting to catch him, but it was too late. Haochuan's body slammed heavily onto the floor, making a dull sound.

The film set immediately descended into chaos, with the director, staff, and actors rushing over. Some shouted, "Call an ambulance," while others hurriedly checked on Haochuan's condition.

Su Qing knelt beside Haochuan, looking helplessly at his pale face, tears streaming down incessantly. "Haochuan, wake up! You can't be hurt!" she cried out, her voice filled with despair.

However, Haochuan seemed to have fallen into a slumber, showing no response.

The film set was in disarray, and the rehearsal was forcibly halted. The director frowned, looking at the chaotic situation in front of him, feeling filled with helplessness and anxiety. He knew that this rehearsal was crucial to the entire drama, yet such an unexpected event occurred.

Su Qing sat in the dressing room, unable to calm her emotions for a long time. She recalled the moment Haochuan collapsed, filled with fear and unease. She didn't know how Haochuan was now, whether he was out of danger.

At this moment, the door of the dressing room was suddenly pushed open, and a woman dressed in ancient costume walked in. She was tall, with delicate features, but her brows carried a hint of confusion and bewilderment.

"Excuse me, where is this place?" the woman asked, her voice clear and pleasant, yet carrying a trace of uncertainty.

Su Qing stared in astonishment at the woman in front of her, unable to understand why an ancient costume woman appeared here. "Who... who are you? How did you end up here?" she asked in confusion.

The woman frowned, seeming to be trying hard to remember something. "My name is Li Baiyu. I don't know why I'm here either. I was in the middle of filming, and suddenly I ended up here." she explained.

"Filming? Are you an actress too?" Su Qing became more perplexed, not understanding why an unfamiliar actress appeared here.

Li Baiyu nodded: "Yes, I'm an actress. However, I played a man."

"A man?" Su Qing was further puzzled, looking at Li Baiyu's delicate face, unable to imagine her playing a man.

"Yes, I'm a cross-dressing actor." Li Baiyu explained, "But now I'm not sure what's going on. I vividly remember filming, and suddenly I appeared here, transformed into this."

Su Qing looked at Li Baiyu, suddenly filled with an inexplicable feeling. She felt that this woman seemed to be hiding some secret, and this secret might be related to Haochuan's collapse.

"Li Baiyu, can you tell me what scene you were filming just now? Was there anything unusual?" Su Qing asked probingly.

Li Baiyu thought for a moment, then shook her head: "I was filming an ancient drama, and nothing strange happened. I just suddenly ended up here."

Su Qing frowned, finding the woman's words unconvincing. But there was no other option now, so she had to believe her for the time being.

"Alright, you stay here for a while. I'll ask the director how to handle this situation." Su Qing stood up, preparing to leave the dressing room.

Li Baiyu nodded: "Okay, thank you."

In the director's office, the director was frantically dealing with the rehearsal interruption. After receiving a call from Su Qing, he frowned all the more.

"Director, a strange woman appeared in the dressing room, she claims her name is Li Baiyu, and she's an actress." Su Qing said anxiously.

"Li Baiyu? An actress?" the director was further puzzled, "How could she appear here?"

Su Qing shook her head: "I don't know either. She says she was filming, then suddenly she appeared here. And she's a cross-dressing actor."

The director frowned: "A cross-dressing actor? This is really strange. Have her wait in the dressing room, I'll go take a look."

The director went to the dressing room and saw Li Baiyu sitting there, his frown deepened. He scrutinized the woman, trying to discern something.
