Multicrossover: I Took Utaha's Virginity At The Beginning!

Chapter 28: Chapter 27: Exorcising the Mountain God

Ryuu's eyes narrowed as he studied the small, bloodless hand extended toward him.

The bell tied with red thread dangled from its skeletal fingers, swaying ominously in the wind.

He could feel it.

This was the core of the curse.

The source of the so-called Mountain God's power.

A contract, forged through centuries of deception—absorbing human wishes, twisting them, and transmuting them into pure negative energy.

Miko stood frozen, her breath caught in her throat.

Even after realizing the truth—that this thing was no god but a monstrous curse spirit—her body refused to move.

The hand stretched out further, insisting she take the bell.

Ryuu snorted.

"Still keeping up the act?"

His aura exploded.

—BOOM!

A colossal, skeletal arm materialized, wreathed in crackling blue energy.

Susanoo.

With a single, earth-shattering punch—

—BANG!

The Mountain God was sent flying, its massive body crashing dozens of meters down the mountainside, kicking up a storm of dust and debris.

For a moment, all was silent.

Then—

—A sharp cry.

The two fox-like children, who had been standing quietly, snapped.

Their once gentle expressions twisted into rage, and they shrieked as they unleashed torrents of cursed energy, their small hands hurling compressed blasts of air toward Ryuu.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Each strike sent shockwaves through the air, but—

They did nothing.

The attacks crashed against Susanoo's armor, barely leaving a scratch.

Miko barely had time to react before she found herself suddenly pulled into Ryuu's arms.

"Ryuu—?!"

She blushed furiously, but her embarrassment was quickly overtaken by sheer shock.

Because—

Susanoo was changing.

The skeletal frame surrounding them shifted.

Muscles and armor formed, solidifying into a colossal warrior wielding a massive energy-forged tachi.

Miko gasped.

"This… this is…!"

She had spent so long fearing spirits, ghosts, and curses—

But now, she was witnessing the power of a god.

Ryuu didn't hesitate.

His Mangekyō Sharingan spun.

At the bottom of the shrine steps—

The Mountain God emerged from the rubble.

Its body had changed.

No longer humanoid, it had fully mutated—its grotesque form now resembling something far worse.

Its skull-like face had bells embedded in its hollow eye sockets.

But its abdomen was the most horrifying part.

A mass of writhing, interlocked arms—each one clutching a bell.

There were hundreds of them.

Maybe thousands.

Ryuu's gaze darkened.

Each bell represented a life it had taken.

"...Tch. This thing has been feeding for centuries."

A curse of this scale—and the Jujutsu Society never dealt with it?

Either they never found it, or—

Someone let it be.

But that didn't matter.

Because now it was his prey.

Ryuu moved first.

Susanoo swung its tachi.

A single slash.

A storm of air erupted as the blade tore through the sky—

—BOOM!

The Mountain God was slammed into the earth, its massive body crashing into the shrine steps, shaking the entire mountain.

For a moment, silence.

Then, it twitched.

Miko watched in horror as the Mountain God slowly pulled itself back up.

Its many arms began to detach—each one dropping away with its bell.

—Jingle. Jingle. Jingle.

The sound of hundreds of bells ringing at once sent chills down her spine.

Ryuu narrowed his eyes.

"This isn't regeneration… it's a ritual."

And then, he understood.

The bells weren't just symbols of its past victims.

They were anchors.

It had been tying its existence to the wishes and fears of humans for centuries—using this ritualistic shedding as a means of constantly reforming its body.

Ryuu clicked his tongue.

"Annoying."

He raised Susanoo's blade again—

But this time—

He didn't aim for the curse.

Instead—

He swung directly at the shrine.

—BOOOOM!

The wooden structure exploded.

Splinters, charms, and more bells scattered into the air.

And at the center of the ruins—

A single human skull.

"...Gotcha."

Ryuu grinned.

The Mountain God's true form.

The massive beast froze.

Its grotesque features twisted in horror as it realized—

It had been exposed.

It wasn't just a curse spirit.

It was a fragmented soul, bound to this shrine for centuries—protected by layers of deception and rituals.

The fox-children spirits went deathly still.

They knew.

They had lost.

The Mountain God raised its arms, its voice warping into something almost human—

"Wait—!"

Ryuu's Mangekyō gleamed.

His Susanoo's blade ignited.

Black flames coiled around it, twisting and writhing like hungry serpents.

Amaterasu.

The shrine crackled under the cursed heat, the very air around it warping from the intensity.

The Mountain God screamed.

"I— I surrender! I saved her! That girl— I protected her three times!"

A desperate plea.

Ryuu scoffed.

"You saved her?"

His grip on Susanoo's blade tightened.

"Tell that to the thousands of souls you consumed."

The blade fell.

The Mountain God was pierced through the chest, black flames engulfing its entire being.

It howled in agony, its body melting away as the fire ate through its existence.

Miko covered her mouth, watching in shock and awe.

Even as it clawed at the ground, even as it begged for mercy—

There was no salvation.

Because Ryuu knew.

Some things don't deserve it.

The cursed flames burned—

And the Mountain God was no more.
