Mrs. and Mr. Smith

Chapter 2796: The Story of the Little Boy and the Giant

A hundred years of time spent recovering from the pain brought on by the punishment of the commandments.

It is imaginable what kind of means this power is.

In this incomplete God-Sealing Space, he estimated that his strength compared to before had at least doubled, but this did not bring him the slightest joy.

Moreover, in this state here, his improvement seems endless.

Endless cultivation and deduction, as long as he gives the slightest cue.

There is a force enhancing him, aiding him in frenzied deduction.

This feeling made him feel very fearful.

Everything comes at a cost, especially such defiant power.

If it is so precious, when the Power of God-Sealing was released, even the First Hermit and Family Head Aleister wouldn't have shown such fear.

Looking again at Keaton Bian's state now, he was almost a hundred percent sure that escaping from here was almost impossible.

"Keaton Bian, can you tell me a story?"

Ethan Smith slightly sorted out his chaotic thoughts.

"Sure, what do you want to hear? Anyway, I'm quite bored here, so I'll consider it a token of gratitude for you."

Keaton Bian exhaled a smoke ring and half lay against a rock covered in moss.

Not far from him, the Nightmare of Keaton Bian was mimicking the same action, looking very strange.

"Come on, brother, shake a hand."

Keaton Bian extended his cigarette holder to bump with the Nightmare's.

...

Ethan Smith was a bit bewildered, could this guy have gone insane?

"Is the divine enthronement story true?"

Ethan Smith shook his head and asked about his affairs.

No matter if he could leave or not, he needed to find the existing information first.

Everything must depend on human effort first, then look at fortune.

"The Primordial Era was the most bizarre period, Great Immortals, Creators, various deeply entrenched sects, divine artifacts. It was an era completely different from later on."

Keaton Bian hesitated for a long time, seeming to have finally sorted out that chaotic content.

"Why say it was different? Because there's no way to verify, even in the documents left by Immortal Emperors, there was never any clear evidence that the legends of the Primordial Era truly existed. Yet some legendary artifacts occasionally appeared in the chaos of the world, which further puzzled people as to whether the Primordial Era was real or illusion."

"Haha, but today by entering through the Power of God-Sealing, it seems this story is pretty much real, just not knowing how much has been distorted through transmission, only remaining what we can know, or perhaps deliberately letting us know."

Ethan Smith laughed and said.

Keaton Bian's demeanor always relaxed, with a touch of his own humor when speaking.

Now and then blowing smoke rings, giving Ethan Smith a scholarly vibe.

If this person had not sealed the gods, his current achievements should be limitless.

"Do you know what situation we're in? I feel I'm no longer myself..."

Ethan Smith asked after being silent for a long time.

"Haha, let me tell you a story then."

Keaton Bian seemed to have not talked to anyone for a long time; he took a deep drag.

Smoke gradually billowed from his nostrils; the thick smoke lingered on the ground like an enchanting sea of clouds.

"Once upon a time, there was an exceptionally intelligent little boy who, by some twist of fate, created a Giant. This Giant easily helped him solve many things, even including powers the little boy dared not imagine. But the little boy began to fear; he feared he could not control the Giant. When one day the Giant conceived other thoughts, the little boy feared he couldn't withstand it, even as the one who created it."

The smoke from the cigarette holder wrapped around, making Keaton Bian seem like a storyteller, his voice giving a sleepy feel.

"So he added a cage to that Giant, with a layer of lock on it. Then the little boy, thinking cleverly, hid the key in a place nobody knew, using this method to provide himself a layer of safety insurance."

"Guess whether the Giant could find that key? This is the story of the God-Sealing."

Hahaha, after finishing this story, Keaton Bian did not linger but left directly.

The people of the Primordial Era created the God-Sealing Panel, which was the little boy's Giant, and this Giant easily solved many problems.

Is this my current state? After entering, I received some kind of power enhancement.

If he continues to submerge here cultivating, Ethan Smith dares not imagine how strong he could become.

The God-Sealing Panel uses this power to seal the gods, gathering those with exceptional talents here, cultivating them as Giants to solve some issues.

But the ensuing problems appeared, these exceptionally talented individuals were growing here.

Then blending, converging, exchanging.

Forming a Giant that even the little boy could not contend with.

And at this point, if this Giant wants to go out.

Can he deceive the little boy's hands into retrieving the key?

Ethan Smith showed a horrified expression.

On Earth long ago, there was an experiment.

Set in a place without others, an individual holds what he needs, and their task is to lure the child away with him.

The purpose of this experiment is to see how the child responds.

But in nearly three hundred trials, not a single child could escape the abductor's grasp.

Abductors don't even need to use force; they can easily have the kids leave with them.

Seeing the test results were excessively absurd, the researchers guided the children before starting the test.

Instilling them with the idea of not going easily with strangers.

Then after detailed training, they began this experiment again.

When the test results came out, everyone discovered a fact.

That regardless of efforts, once children encounter abductors in areas without external intervention.

It's almost a hundred percent no resistance, later researchers placed this test on bustling streets.

Abductors also succeeded in transporting kids away with a success rate as high as seventy percent.

This means, in a confrontation between adults and children.

Even the smartest child can't outplay an intelligence-crushed adult.

Thus, if what Keaton Bian says is true.

Then the Giant here should have long since left.

As for the little boy who created this Giant, his fate is already foreseeable.

Could this also be linked to the disappearance of the Primordial Era?

In their world, the history of the Primordial Era still existed at a certain point in time.

All information disappeared just like that.
