Chapter 14: The Pack Meeting

We gathered in a clearing deep in the woods, the moonlight casting eerie shadows on the trees. Liam stood at the center, his eyes scanning the pack as he began to speak.

"Victor, the alpha of the rogue pack, has asked for our help," he said. "He claims that our family's secret society is in danger, and he needs Emily's help to protect them."

The pack murmured, their voices filled with skepticism. Marcus stepped forward, his expression stern.

"We can't just trust him," he said. "We don't know anything about him or his motives."

I nodded, knowing that Marcus was right. But a part of me still wanted to help Victor.

"I think we should hear him out," I said. "We can't just dismiss his claim without investigating."

Liam nodded, his eyes thoughtful.

"Agreed," he said. "We'll listen to what Victor has to say, but we'll also be cautious. We can't afford to take any risks."

The pack nodded in agreement, and we called Victor forward to explain his proposal.
