The alpha of the rogue pack, a tall and menacing figure, took a step closer to me.

"Emily," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "I've been looking for you."

I felt a surge of fear, but Liam and Marcus stood firm, their eyes fixed on the rogue alpha.

"Who are you?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

The rogue alpha sneered. "My name is Victor," he said. "And I'm your brother."

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. Brother? What was he talking about?
