Monster Under the Bed

Sally sat in the middle of her bed in her dark room, sobbing.

"Sally, what's the matter?" Asked Und.

"My Grandmother passed away today," Sally whispered.

"Oh, I'm so very sorry." Und's sadness could be heard in his voice.

"They said she talked about her pet, Rumbles, a lot lately." Sally laughed, "She missed you."

"And I missed her. I was happy to have been a 'pet' in her last days." Und said.

"Goodnight, Und."

"Goodnight, Sally."
