Monster Under the Bed

"Und?" Sally quietly cried into the dark.

"Yes, Sally," Came the deep voice.

"Oh my god!" Sally almost yelled. "Where have you been? I've been so worried about you!"

"Oh, I apologize. I had an unexpected trip, but I'm back and hopefully won't need to leave for some time." Und said.

"I missed you," Sally said while crying.

"I missed you too," Und said.

"Where did you go?" Sally asked.

"I had to go visit an old friend," Und's voice was quiet.

"Oh, how is your friend?" Sally asked. She would like to hear more about Und.

"Gone."

"Oh."

"Goodnight, Sally."
